— LauraW Homegrown RightWing Terrorists Attack Political Enemies
Darnell Goldson, a Democrat Alderman representing the West Rock section of New Haven, CT, was letting his daughter out to the school bus stop when he noticed his house had been pelted with eggs and one of his lawn signs had been violently dry-humped and left for dead.
It was a campaign sign for Republican candidate Linda McMahon.
According to some insidey local scuttlebutt (read: a local rumor unverified by me, so buyer beware), a few weeks ago, this fellow was asked by New Haven Mayor DeStefano to not come out publicly in support of McMahon, but he did it anyway.
What does it mean to be a black Democrat in New Haven and Connecticut? What I concluded is that in New Haven, it means being ignored by the Democratic nominee for Senate. It means that as a demographic that robotically votes for the Democrat, you will be ignored because, well, who else are you going to vote for?
So, the answer to the question as to why I am voting for the Republican is simple. It was many years ago I learned how to think for myself, and not let labels define who I am, or how I think. Yes, I registered as a Democrat at the tender age of 18, and yes, I generally vote for the Democratic candidate, but not always. I reject the notion of group-think; I like the American idea of individuality and freedom.
I no longer mindlessly vote for the label, but instead for the person I believe will best serve the community and issues that are important to me.
How refreshing.
Thanks to Wiserbud.

Of course, I ignored him. He's black, ergo his vote is already mine. Why should I have to actually associate with him?
Wait, he's NOT going to vote for me?
Hold on, I need to initiate an investigation. BRB

This should be considered a Hate Crime.
I hate Hate Crime laws, but this is a good opportunity to shove Hate Crimes right back up the left's asses.

With the occasional exception of a black woman who doesn't behave in the stereotypical manner that they demand.

Have you heard any of her crap, yet?

Hey Chucky, can I appeal to you as an LEO? Click the link under my name and consider helping to retire Martha Coakley, if you would.
A world without Coakley is a world I want to live in. Allyson Schwartz (PA-13) should be retired, too. We already have one Nancy Pelosi.

This is just like the ending of Forbidden Planet, as the invisible monster melts its way through the Krel steel doors.
Adams: You still refuse to face the truth.
Morbius: What truth?
Adams: Morbius, that thing out there. It's you.

No, Mr. Goldson. If you gave the blueprints to a nuclear bomb to Iran, the Left-Os would make love to you in effigy.

Not because of the Tea Party tsunami, although that part of it. What's going to put the bone to the Democrats is that a lot of blacks are starting to take a look at the Republicans.
If ten or fifteen percent of Blacks make the jump away from the Dems it's a long-term apocalypse for their party, especially when we get to an election cycle when there's not a black man at the top of their ticket.

....one of his lawn signs had been violently dry-humped and left for dead.
That's why we all love LauraW so much - the way that she can use words to paint such vivid tableaux. Bravo, dear lady - you are indeed a master beyond compare!
Now all we need is an Ewok picture to complete the scene.....

Democrats engaging in vandalism and thuggery, especially associated with elections, is a "dog bites man" story.
The fact that the victim is swarthily-complected means that your average reporter's head would explode if they reported this.

Yeah, I was reminded of that by the Ben(n)et(t) commercials here in Colorado. (Disclosure: I'm still registered to vote in my home state, which isn't Colorado, so I can't vote in this one. And I don't care enough about Ben%et%, Democratic Obama knob-slobber, to spell his name right.)
Ben*et*'s ads are basically about how skeery Buck is. Which isn't a surprise. What is amusing me is, how when Be.ne.t talks about Buck "sending jobs overseas" (which Buck won't do, but who cares, Ben'e't is rolling), he shows some white dude in a hard-hat.
Moral: B-N-T is supporting the Average God-Fearing White Working American, no realliz! He is!

I hope some day someone writes the true history of the midterms of 2010. It's a turning point for our nation. Hopefully the good guys will win.
