— Ace Sometimes it's vitally important that we scold people for using intemperate rhetoric that might create "a climate of fear" and political violence.
Sometimes -- not so much. Not so much.
The FBI will assist in the investigation of a suspicious envelope addressed to Gov. Jan Brewer that an employee at the Capitol opened Tuesday, sending the Executive Tower into one-hour lockdown after a white powder spilled from the envelope onto a computer.
In more good news, President Heal the Nation is now using the term teabaggers privately.

He's said "tea bag people" before, and the impression I got was that he was used to saying "teabagger" and cut himself short because it was TV.
Obama hates "tea bag people."

How many tea parties have there been since last year? Add up all those locations and all those people.
Now, how many arrests were there of tea party members? How many windows were broken by tea party members? How many bottles were thrown at cops by tea party members?
Other than the shit the media has made up and then refuses to retract.
Unfuckingreal.
It's outright slander and libel and it's time they should be called on it.

speaking of horseshit...
today radio talker Michael Graham was talking a Boston Globe story about the deaths of several Census 2010 workers and the threat posed to them by 'anti-govt' activists.
Here's the thing though: The Census workers died in car crashes.

Compare the Bush's, no matter how you feel about W's presidency, to the cheap, low-class Marxists in the WH now. Breaks my heart.

He got a pass for flipping Hillary and McCain off. The press will just giggle if he flips them off, too.

The Census workers died in car crashes.
Ah, sort of like the Census worker that was "killed" by anti-gov't wingers last year in Kentucky. Memba that guy? He had "fed" slashed into his chest.
Yeah, turns out, that guy staged his suicide to look like a homicide.
Absolutely no retraction from all the disgraceful journalist and bloggers that assumed it was a right wing sympathizer.

If, say, a latino roofer fell off a roof and died, the story about the tragic accident would include something about the recent 'anti-immigration' sentiment in the United States. That's how insidious and transparent these propagandists are.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I've made a good living being a bagger of tea so I'm proud to call myself a teabagger.
What! TEABAGGER MEANS WHAT!
Where are my pistols and my second there's some dueling to be done.

Were the cars white? There's a part of me that's hoping against hope that they were white, racist cars. I mean off-white, eggshell isn't even good enough since it gives cover to the color "white." That's a bigotry that a part of me says we should watch out for so that white cars don't get a pass for their blind hatred against census workers. There's another part of me that says I'm an idiot, but I don't listen to that part. I mean, why think?

After I picked myself off the floor from laughing, I said, "Honey, do you know what that means?" She said, "Um, no."
So, Mrs. Jakeman proceeded to explain that it's a device used for cleaning one's lady parts. At which point I added, "So, it's not a word we use in polite company. But your usage of it was perfect."

Robert Gibbs during this morning's WH Briefing, in response to a question from The Ghost of Tony Snow (which haunts those halls, still, and a darn good thing, too):
"While it is true that the president does, in fact, use the term 'Teabagger' in private conversation while in the White House, he does not use it in an offensive or derogatory way, but rather he uses the term to describe the increasingly, shall we say, dominating role Michelle Obama has taken in their personal lives."

The story would sing better if you said your daughter replied, "So I was right. He is a douchebag."
Just one driveler's opinion.

An hour ago, she came home from school and regaled me with how she and four other kids stood their ground against the teacher and about 20 classmates on healthcare and illegal immigration. We live in Arizona, and she said that every single Latino kid was outspokenly outraged that anybody could be in favor of stopping illegal immigration or against "free" healthcare.
When she mentioned that we lived in Canada last year and the taxes are outrageous, the teacher openly scoffed at her!
I'm so proud of my little Attilla the Hun. I suspect there will be a time that she goes left, probably around college, but even then I think she'll know in her heart that they're all douchebags...

I met Teh Won during the IL senate race in 2004, he was supposed to be shaking hands and making small talk at a parade. He was incredibly rude, stomped around in a snit, and had his handlers chasing after him & apologizing the whole time.
Now, they don't bother apologizing.

Sounds like she has a strong head on her shoulders. I don't think mealymouthed Libs are going to have any impact on her. She has more guts than I did at that age. She's also much more politically attuned than I was at the same age though we'd surely share the same ideology. Congratulations on your dividend-paying investment.

You've had this term in your retinue, and you're just now rolling it out here? For shame, sir. I lived in Boston for a while last year, and had countless chances to use it. Better late than never, though - it's added to the lexicon.

Police later found two hacked-up, headless bodies in a rural field, including the owner of a local tavern.
Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, who is also national security minister, called the beheadings an "indescribable act" that underscores the need for a "structured approach to anger management."
Or maybe the death penalty. Just sayin'.
