The Brooksville Republican’s office received a “telephonic threat” on March 25 from an unidentified male, authorities said.Late Sunday, FBI agents and Hernando deputies arrested Erik Lawrence Pidrman, 66, at his Spring Hill home in connection with the threat. The charge is “threatening to assault or murder a US official,” according to FBI Special Agent Dave Couvertier.

The caller stated: “Just wanna let you know I have 27 people that are going to make sure that this [expletive deleted] does not live to see her next term. Good-bye.”
This guy donated to Hillary Clinton in 2008 -- something Gateway Pundit is able to dig up, but the media apparently couldn't. But you can see why it was so difficult for them -- Gateway Pundit typed "Pidrman" and then hit "search" and you know the media is far too busy being objective to take the two seconds necessary for such digging.
BTW -- 27 guys? That sounds like a militia to me.

Yet again, events fit the historic pattern. The Left is always the first to go violent. It will be that way here, too. It will either be loons like this running around killing, or it will be an even more powerful Left in charge of the apparatus of the state that will use the police and some portion of the military to commit the violence. (Mostly the police, since they'll be more willing.)
That is why it remains vital for all conservatives to be armed, and well supplied with ammo. Not because our side will start anything, but rather because it will be up to our side to finish things. Getting a more powerful conservative militia, led by rational folks, would be a great start to preparing for (or preventing) the worst case scenario.

If you want to understand the reason why the Left is always the first to go violent, read "The Dark Side of the Left: Illiberal Egalitarianism in America." Leftist movements aimed at equality of rights (equality of outcomes) tend to become rigid, intolerant, and -- when faced with a society that doesn't bend to their desires -- violence-prone. Often, the violence is directed first at the "splitters" who realize that they don't want to follow the movement down that dark path.

The only reason that "militia" is a bad concept, is that the MSM has been drumming into our heads that it's a bad idea and that we should just let our freedoms expire. If militias were such a horrible thing, why did the framers of the Constitution refer to them in the 2nd amendment? I can actually see a day when these militias may be our only saving grace.
