— DrewM Update: Allah points out they are voting on something else at the moment.
Update 2: Harry Reid just said he needs to wait until House votes on their version of the DREAM Act and that won't be for a few hours.
Dick Durbin is going on about how great all these illegals are. He's actually holding up a huge picture of an illegal immigrant, using his name, talking about where he goes to school. Now he says there are a bunch of illegal immigrant kids walking the halls of Congress on behalf of this bill What about those shadows they are supposed to be living in?
I think in Durbin's mind, only illegal immigrants do anything worth while like be named class valedictorian or something.
The GOP said they won't vote on anything until the tax deal and budget is passed.
Put up or shut time.
Vote about to start.
Funny how the day after Obama goes after the lefty base, the DREAM Act and DADT repeal come up? It's almost as if Nancy and Harry want to make sure the base knows who loves them.

And it's that illegal aliens will start being treated as such and removed to their countries of origin forthwith.

How wonderful is it for our very own Dick Turban to be encouraging illegals instead of having them deported on the spot, you know, like his oath of office compels him to.
That POS should be arrested. Or at least called out on the floor to explain his actions and his failure to enforce the law.

All the Democrats have to do is dangle a tax cut in front of the Republicans and they'll compromise for this shit sandwich.

o-sure , here I am whining on the last thread about why aren't we discussing the Dream Act Vote, and damn here it is. hangs head in shame.
Drew, why would they say they wouldn't vote for this without having a vote for taxes? does that mean they might bend on Dream if they get Tax Vote as they desire?

In 2012, we can't just run against the legislation, we have to run against the process -- these people can't be trusted.

The sad fact is there are far too many RINOs who would jump for a chance to vote for DREAM. Even better they could vote for cloture, and then vote "nay." They'd still get their pet legislation, and they could claim to have voted against it.

Before the health care monstrosity went through, I'd have thought the Dems were spinning their wheels. Now, I'm afraid you might get enough squishy Senators who are either recently re-elected, lame ducks, or not up until 2014 to vote in favor of this idiocy.

Copy that. Murkowski has no reason to vote with Republicans, and Juan McCain just won re-election and so is untouchable for 6 years. That's the only two Dems would need.

Has Durbin repeated their favorite lie, yet?
That is, "this is good for the economy."
"It will create jobs."
"It will lower the deficit."
"Giving driver's licenses to illegals will make the roads safer."

Couldn't get past the 1st paragraph. I'm really tired of the "Americans oppose tax cuts for the rich" line. First, I doubt their information comes from any poll that was conducted ethically. Second, most Americans would change their tune if they realized "the rich" was the Mechanic down the street, or their neighbor the CPA.

Here the feeling is: If you want the same quality as Wal-Mart, but to sneer down your nose at anyone who would pay so little, go to Target.

Dick Durbin and Friends, if you really gave a damn about the plight of the poor of Mexico, you would have Leaned on the elite shits in Mexico to do right by their people, and that doesn't mean driving their poor across deserts and rivers poor into America to make money and ship it back home,. How about leaning hard on Mexico? If we can fight half way around the world for freedom and peace, why not our neighbor on the border? hell all you would have to do is toss 5 families of rulers
out and mexico could be the mexicans land!
Liars and thieves, for votes and cheap labor.

Take note: the Congressional Dems suffer the biggest wipeout in recent history, and a few weeks later, they still regard the wishes of the people with disdain - you would think they had just won a landslide! Hell, Nanzi going probably going to to another gavel-strut!!
Look, when elections start NOT having consequences, it's time to start worrying very seriously about our democracy, and time to wipe out the Democrats, not just humiliate them. This snake will not die until the head is cut off.

Historically anti-establishment movements try to normalize migrant invaders to gain political clout....
Meaning the supporters of this 'unarmed invasion' are facilitating it in the hopes of gaining popular political status as the new ruling class.
