— Ace Well, he did say that, sort of.
Rep. Massa describes a confrontation with Emanuel in a shower: "I am showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me."
Via corporate shill Hot Air (joking... jealous), this guy gives you the skinny on those allegations of Massa's gross misconduct in the Navy.
Yeah, according to these accounts, he was sticking his hands down the shorts of fellow shipmates and mounting them while they slept, without so much as a "by your leave."
He says he didn't report on this three years ago (despite being, it seems, a conservative) because the accusers wouldn't go on the record and he felt squeamish about destroying Massa and his family.
Beck, by the way, is talking about this now, and is playing along with Massa's claim that all he did was "tell a dirty joke." I don't know if this is his real, incredibly naive belief, or if he's greasing the source for tomorrow's interview and fishing in troubled waters.
I hope it's the latter. If he really believes that Massa just told a dirty joke... Well. He's willing to believe anything, then, isn't he?
If he's just playing along -- terrific. We can use this pervert.

Hypothesis: it's not that so many Dems are dirty; it is that the Dems do not let you rise unless you ARE dirty. That's because they need something to get you on to keep you in line, and they don't want anyone who is really independent.

He was a perv when they helped him get elected and he's a perv now. '

These thugs and miscreants probably like to have a perv elected or someone with something wrong with them so they can control them.

"Take last Sunday, for instance, when I casually struck up a conversation with this guy in the congressional locker room. Nothing fruity, just a couple of fellas talking about their legislative agendas and workout routines while enjoying a nice hot shower. The guy looked like a real man's man, too—big biceps, meaty thighs, thick neck. He didn't seem the least bit gay. At least not until he started sucking my cock, that is.
Where does this queer get the nerve to suck my cock? Did I look gay to him? Was I wearing a pink feather boa without realizing it? I don't recall the phrase, "Suck my cock" entering the conversation, and I don't have a sign around my neck that reads, "Please, You Homosexuals, Suck My Cock."
I've got nothing against homosexuals. Let them be free to do their gay thing in peace, I say. But when they start sucking my cock, I've got a real problem."

This reminds me of an interesting tidbit: The character 'Ari Gold' from the HBO series Entourage is supposedly based on Rahm's brother.
I guess Rahm has a brother who is an agent-lawyer guy. Ari's is a loudmouthed prick on the show who would get his ass handed to him if he ever talked to people like that in the real world. But I guess in Washington as well as Hollywood that kinda shit flies.

Some of the details in the rumors reported by Bob Lonsberry in the accompanying link sound kinda fishy to me. Lots of warning bells going off inside my head as a former Navy officer and disabled veteran.
Like the "self-service laundry" on the cruiser he was on. Never heard of such a thing on a ship cruiser-size or smaller. The laundry facilities on ships are usually pretty large and aren't made to be run where anyone can just pop in and do his own laundry. There's a unique rating in the navy that handles Ships Services and they do all the laundry (among other things). And they do it in-bulk (understand that even with evaporators on board, water on a ship is always at a premium).
And the Navy as a service is VERY obsessed with position and class and it would be frowned upon for an officer to do his own laundry (even if it were possible).
And I've never seen junior officer quarters on a ship cruiser-size or smaller "four decks below" (or above) other officers quarters.
And on board a ship like the Jouette, a Navy Lieutenant (O-3) would be generally be considered a junior officer (I left the Navy as an O-3 with almost eight years service, yet I was still considered a "junior officer"). Yet Massa is rooming with one in senior officers quarters?
Additionally, on board a ship like the Jouette, a Department Head (which the Combat Systems Officer is) would likely have his OWN stateroom and not have to share. Especially if (as noted) he was the 3rd most senior officer on board. Every Department Head on the cruiser I served aboard had his own stateroom.
And a Lieutenant Commander as the 3rd most senior officer on a ship like the Jouette (a Belknap Class cruiser) would also be most unusual. The cruiser that I was on had three full commanders on board (the XO and two Department Heads).
I could be wrong and each and every one of these rumors may be 100% factually correct. I just smell dead fish.

This whole story is fishy. As Tiger stated above, a lot of it does not make sense based on actual experience. Not saying it could not have happened as I have seen some strange shit in my career but this is fishy.

Nah, we think about cleaning up our act. But then we don't and complain about how picky women are. The way I figure it if women want to see well coiffed hair and hard bodies they can go shopping with their gay friends.

The ONLY time I ever saw any overtly homosexual act while I was in the Navy occurred while I was at A school in N. Chicago. While making the rounds as "fire watch" in the barracks I caught two guys in the lounge "making out" about 4 am. I went back to the MAA office and reported it to the duty chief who followed me back to "catch" them.
They were gone by then of course. But that was the ONLY time I saw anything like that in 7 years in the Navy. I suspect those two that were in the lounge didn't last long because in those days it was good for a bad conduct discharge.

Bill Cosby wasn't accused of sexual misconduct until he criticised the coarse, anti-intellectual stance of black pop culture, including the ubiquitous use of the racial epithet, "ni**er."
I don't believe you could go one night behaving like this in the Navy, without two or three people beating you into a bloody puddle. It's really no different than what would have happened to you had you pulled this crap at summer camp.

Mr. D'oh just called before leaving work. He's been out of the loop and didn't know about Massa, Dan Rather, nothin'. When I told him about Rather, he lol'd. When I told him about Massa, he said, "Man, if I was showering and some douche like Rahm approached me, naked, in the shower and shoved his finger in my face, or poked me in the chest, I'd have wiped the shower floor with him."
I love Mr. D'oh.

Yes, you are on shore duty now, but you are willing to put yourself in harm's way to serve your country. I really do appreciate your service and sacrifice as well as those who are serving overseas. I so agree with you about Joe Biden and this administration taking credit for the sucess in Iraq. I also harbor a lot of ill will towards the media that did everything it could to harm our troops and undermine President Bush when he was CinC. Now they too are spreading the false meme that Iraq is going well because of Obama. I can only imagine how you must feel.

Much as I'd love to kick Rahm's, or any high-level Democrat's, ass, I wonder just what the law is regarding shooting someone who's threatening you. It would be better than a threesome with Andrea Tantaros and Tracy Byrnes to have some Demapuke higher-up get in my face threateningly, and then surprise him by blowing his fracking head off--and get away with it scot-free.
Yeah, I know a lot of states have interpreted self-defense to require "equal force"--which is BS, btw, since someone who starts crap with someone he believes to be weaker doesn't deserve a fair fight--but I think there are some states where you could do it. Not sure which ones, though.

“When I voted against the cap and trade bill, the phone rang and it was the chief of staff to the president of the United States of America, Rahm Emanuel, and he started swearing at me in terms and words that I hadn’t heard since that crossing the line ceremony on the USS New Jersey in 1983,” Massa said. “And I gave it right back to him, in terms and words that I know are physically impossible.”…
Massa slammed House Maj. Leader Steny Hoyer for discussing a House ethics committee inquiry, accusing Hoyer of lying in an effort to eliminate an opponent of health care. Hoyer said last week he heard in early Feb. about allegations against Massa, and that he told MassaÂ’s office to report the allegations to the ethics committee.
“Steny Hoyer has never said a single word to me at all, never, not once,” Massa said. “Never before in the history of the House of Representatives has a sitting leader of the Democratic Party discussed allegations of House investigations publicly, before findings of fact. Ever.”
“I was set up for this from the very, very beginning,” he added. “The leadership of the Democratic Party have become exactly what they said they were running against.”

Massa may be a Dem, but he's a Dem with integrity. I don't agree with him on several things, but let's recognize a good man was slandered because he voted no against the Chicago machine.
Uh ...falling for Gay Navy Jokes? For this conservatives - who should have encouraged him to rescind his resignation...instead pile on? For the want of his NO vote we may well lose the battle.
