Thought I would post just how f'ed up the demon's-rats are this november.  One of my small biz friends today was so pissed... couldn't get an extension for a loan for his biz for some loan rolleovers for the next few months.  The local bank that does these type of small biz loans are very much set against this "permanent bailout" bill. He had to sign up with another bank for the loans on terms he was not happy with.

The bailout-bank bill hurts community banks the most, now that my liberal friend understand this. His first response: "why the hell can't they(govt) just leave us alone?"

Now he will be not just  be voting for conservatives, I have now convinced him that yep, he is one of those "racist, extremist Tea Party Supporters" for wanting free market,  smaller govt, lower taxes, and indiv rights. We want the Democrats to waste MONTHS on Immigration and Cap n Trade- thats less time for campaigning. The elctric hand dryer says on it that it's saving trees and that's good for the environment. But producing electricity uses, say, coal, which is a non-renewable resource and it pollutes the air, whereas trees are a renewable resource that die in the short-term anyway so we might as well use 'em up and plant new ones.

Am I right or wrong?

I prefer either as long as they are no-touch. A restroom with a no-touch hand dryer and a no-touch paper towel dispenser so I can use it on the door on the way out is perfect. I'm not even a germ-a-phobe (still ahppy to eat off the floor) but public bathrooms in my local Wal-Mart scare me.

Yea, America really fucked over the Philippines when we liberated Manila with a very high price of blood and equipment in 1945.  Thousands of Philippinos currently living in America is thankful for the effort our military made to liberate their country from the Japanese.
