— Dave in Texas Michigan State takes Tennessee on Raymar Morgan's free throw to head to the final Four.
All Baylor and Duke now. Two small schools, one with a basketball heritage, and one with nothing but a lot of basketball pain from stupidness.
I'm watching it online here.
Full disclosure, Baylor was the first school I ever got kicked out of. I don't blame them, I'da thrown me out too.

If Baylor wins this game and then beats WVA, I can actually win some money in a bracket pool I'm in because no one will have a champion and I'm one of the few with Baylor in the championship game.

I'm so concerned I might call CSPAN tomorrow and tell them how many times I voted for Reagan...and how now Sarah Palin concerns me.

Oh yeah? Well we're deeply concerned. Especially about Iran and North Korea and stuff.

I've been trying to write a Todd Lickliter joke after Butler won yesterday, but that seems redundant.
I miss Indiana.

How many schools have you been kicked out of?

Go Bears.
Posted by Dave In TexasI'm sure in this day and age Baylor is more receptive to football players who like to wear makeup and dress up in womens clothing and are all inclusive Dave. This is the new south after all.

>> How many schools have you been kicked out of?
Well, two technically, but the second college I got kicked out of twice.
Is that three, or two and a half?

I was just thinking about Tokyo Rose, the other day.
Last week when we were defending the ridiculous accusations of threats and violence, I wondered why we were wasting so much time with answering the charges of propagandists. Would we argue with the silly Tokyo Rose? Baghdad Bob?

That's a screw job. Should've been Zoubek's fifth.
And Baylor needs to rebound those Dukie misses.

Ah, clipped from the link in my name:
1 -- Number of times a No. 1 seed has not reached the Final Four since 1985 (2006, which featured UCLA as No. 2, Florida as a No. 3, LSU at No. 4 and No. 11 George Mason)
Land of Leakin is correct. (I thought UCLA was a #1)
Posted by: logprof at March 28, 2010 03:04 PM (Mmw0q)
Looks like Baylor, and therefore my bracket, is toast. Too many offensive rebounds by Duke late in the game.
Maybe next year.

I have no love for Duke, but my only consolation is that at least the ACC outlasted the Big 12. Maybe they'll outlast the Big East and Big 10 as well.
Then lose to Butler.
(I can dream.)
Posted by: logprof at March 28, 2010 03:25 PM (Mmw0q)
Butler winning it all would be too cool.
Think I'll curb my dissapointment with a huge platter of bacon and eggs.
Later.

I finish no worse than 11th if Duke wins Saturday. Third if they win it all.
SPC Upset Special vaults from 136th to First if Michigan State takes it all. Talk about your Cinderellas!

The rest? Who the F*ck knows.

Good game, but there was no way CBS was going to let Baylor win.
THIS guy is a complete douche. We let him know Friday, and again today. And no booze sold at Reliant, what a crock of shit. They must get a kickback from the flask makers.

BamBam has to ruin the Final Four once again - he's going to be interviewed by CBS this week, shoot some hoops, and they're going to show clips throughout the weekend during the games:

Yeah. Mary Biddle Duke Trent Semens, Doris' cousin who lives there in Durham and is still alive, I believe, is the mother of one of my best friends. They are one seriously bizarre bunch. There is a bullet hole in the leather dining room wall in the old house.
Benjamin Duke was obsessed with Princeton hence the architecture. He even had the steps poured so that they would wear as if they had had centuries of use. I'm not surprised he stole Yale's color.
I'm currently annoyed because the entire reunion committee, all of which I knew, are Obamaites per their campaign contribution history. Looking back, their behavior at the time was an indicator.

You are preaching to the choir, I dated one of the daughters from Flat Rock.
The Semen's womyn is on the Duke Endowment Board! Crazy as a loon.
They hired the architect from Philly and designed it to match Princeton. At least the Reynolds didn't rename Wake Forest, they just moved it and rebuilt it.
More class.

I bet you do! It's amazing (and a huge compliment to Coach Dean Smith) that fans of other teams are so obsessed with Carolina.
