Sorry Gibbsy, you walked into it.
Here's what we'll see for tomorrow's briefer:
1. cut a hole in the box
2. put your dick in the box
3. make her open the box
And that's the way you do it.

She stood up to it well. I'm not sure anyone on the left would say so, but Ms. Geller hit them pretty hard, and got back only, "Sara's stupid" in return.
A proper response to Ronjr's childish taunting would be to let him know that you're thrilled to see him keep up the monkeyshine, since that makes Palin look smarter every time he spanks it.

A guy sits down to another guy on a plane, when they notice they both have throbbing black eyes.
"Okay, I'll bite," says the first guy, "how'd you get yours?"
"Slip of the tongue," says the second guy. "I got to the ticketing counter and the agent had this huge amazing rack. I meant to say, 'gimme a ticket to Pittsburgh,' but it came out 'gimme a picket to Titsburgh.' Pow, she belted me. How 'bout you?"
"Same thing, a slip of the tongue," says the first guy. "This morning I came down to the kitchen and my wife says 'what do you want for breakfast?' Anyway, I meant to say 'a bowl of oatmeal' but it came out 'you fucking bitch, you ruined my life.'"

Worse part was the long at sea times for us (nuke). We would do 60 days at yankee station then go in to Subic for a week, then back out for another 60 days. Would get beer withdrawel symptoms.
But Subic Bay was the best sailor's port in the world. Now that WAS fun.

Okay.
104 OT but a good child rearing story. I helped my fourteen year old daughter with her homework. She asked me how the Trojan War started. I told her about Hera, Aphrodite, and Athena and the Golden Apple of Discord. We got to talking about mythology. She asked whether Heracles was the son of Zeus and Hera. I told her that Zeus was a Tiger Woods kind of guy so Heracles was Zeus's son but not Hera's. The next day I overheard her tell her friends that I said that Tiger Woods was like a Greek god.
lol, kids. Anyways, Zeus always liked to boink any mortal woman that moved. I guess that's due in part to Hera being Zeus's sister as well. Greek mythology may be the original source of the "golden shower" as he impregnated Danae, the daughter of King Acrisius of Argos and Eurydice, in the form of a golden shower. This child would be known as Perseus, who I killed in the Temple of the Fates by throwing him through a wall and impaling his heart on a hook. Here's a list of Zeus' "conquests".
My mom's not on the list. I wonder why?

I don't quite understand the Birth Certificate issue. I think he was born in Hawaii, unless I actually find evidence otherwise, but it really pisses me off that the Administration won't just end the controversy, by showing it, and walking the public through all the facts.
It is my belief that the reason they won't do it, is so they can use it as a poltical wedge, giving them the ability to call anyone who questions them "Racists."
All the evidence I have seen, along with the Constitutional Laws involved, presents the situation to be pretty clean cut, but I understand how important it is to clear the air about all this...It's a morale issue, and they would actually release some tension by ending the issue...so I don't get it!

Yeah kind of simple really.
Hawaii was in the habit at the time of issuing birth certificates to those not born in the US. That, or the fact that he wasn't born in a hospital, if true, would be recorded on a long form birth certificate. US law would prevent him from being a US Citizen at birth under the circumstances, if he were not born in the US. So some hold out the belief, based on other testimony and evidence, that he was born in Kenya, then flown to the US a few days after birth. Possible, yes. Far fetched, yes. Would it disqualify him? Probably (Supreme court would make the call).
Obama has the political motivation of making his opposition look like crazies by not complying.
Reality check. Even if the events of paragraph 1 were true at the outset. Face it right now he has a long form on file which dutifully shows him being born in Hawaii whether it is true or not. Bottom whether or not there was a cat up this tree a year ago is irrelevant, there ain't one now, so we can stop barking. We just look stupid now.

Bwhahaha! I wonder how all that hope and change is working for Arlen Spector. From thehill.com:
The suspect accused of trying to blow up a flight on Christmas Day should not have been read his Miranda rights, Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.) said Tuesday.
Specter, a former prosecutor who's served as a Republican chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, broke with the Obama administration over it's decision to treat Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab as a criminal defendant rather than as an enemy combatant.
"I do not believe he should have been read his rights," Specter said during an appearance on MSNBC. "I think the most important thing is to find out what information he has to prevent future terrorist acts."
I hope that there is a change in the Senator from PA, and that a true Republican kicks the crap out of Benedict Arlen.

"I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen."

I'll help you out here. This is the only other statement by Fukino on the matter:
" Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of HawaiÂ’i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the HawaiÂ’i State Department of Health has Sen. ObamaÂ’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures"
..again where does it say there is a long form birth certificate showing he was born in Hawai'i?

The Fallacy of "Fairness" by
Thanks for posting that, Willow! My favorite paragraph was:
Unfairness is often blamed on somebody, even if only on "society." But whose fault is it if you were not the first born? Since some groups have more children than others, a higher percentage of the next generation will be first-borns in groups that have smaller families, so such groups have an advantage over other groups.
As a second child of four, with a very motivated, very smart older sister, I used that excuse to vindicate my sometimes less than stellar grades.

Schmuckaby can't fundraise to save his ass. His PAC took in a measly $800,000 and it's been up and running for a couple years. SarahPAC raised over $2 million (without much active fundraising) and Pawlenty's PAC raised just under $2 million and neither one was even established at the beginning of the year. Romney's PAC raised over 2.5 mil.

According to the Law Analysis' that I've seen it doesn't even matter if he was born in the United States. Just as long as he claimed Citizenship to the United States while living here before age of twenty he would qualify, assuming one of his parents was already a citizen.
At this point, I think it is about exposing lies, and exposing the media, and seeing if there has been a massive cover-up. I doubt there is an actual legal play to remove him, or impeach him.
It's a political Chew Toy that we could use to discredit the media and the Administration, but I doubt we are ever really going to get to the bottom of it, and I agree we run the risk of making ourselves look like a bunch of idiots.

Yes....I believe so. My understanding is that the The Supreme Court had to define "Natural Born" in the past and ruled that the definition is based on, not just the person in question, but the parents and the situation the parents are in. Take for example, McCain..He was born in Panama, so there is an entire slew of Military people that had to be considered in the definition.

The Supreme Court is stuffed with lawyers, but there is no law that requires the president to appoint a lawyer. At this stage of America's development, it would appear very logical to appoint a very analytical mind with real world experience instead of a judge with questionable rulings.
My first choice for this post would be the esteemed sage of Fox News, Dr Charles Krauthammer. My second choice would be someone despised by the left for his intellectual musings, Dr. Charles Krauthammer.
How's that for Hope & Change liberals?

I don't watch it at all. But, all my friends do so I hear about it incessantly. They tried to get me to watch because apparently this is the last season and they had the first show explain everything to this point. But, I will eventually rent it all and watch it all over a period of weeks. much easier.

Nice euphemism.

Heh. This might be a good time to point out just how rare and special the Moronettes are for putting up with the juvenile delinquency of the Morons.

these people never cease to amaze me. the obama administration could do much to improve the "tone" in washington. as matter of fact, he could improve things literally over night! all he would have to do is step down, and trundle back to illinois with his pose of chicago crooks in tow. D.C. is going to just get worse with these jerks in office. from rahm, to astroturf-axelrod, to her heinousness pelosi herself - never has there been a nastier, meaner, more despicable group of people in office. hell, they make nixon look like a nice guy with clean hands.
bunch of jerks...

and axelrod? oh, he used to pull the wings off of butterflies for fun while playing in the backyard as a kid. rahm? oh, rahm poisoned the nieghbors dog, and pelosi? well, she was hated in high school for not following the girl code. she would go out with her friends' exes and such.
and obama? do we really need to go into the absent father, look at me-look at me syndrome?
that's who these people are...

Classless. Juvenile.
But we've come to expect that sort of behavior from a "white" house whose Chief of Protocol is Aunt Esther.
I never thought it possible, but Gibby is making that doofus doughboy Scotty McClellan look good.

I've got a job for Gibbsie's hand. But you all don't want to know what it is.
