— Gabriel Malor The GOProud ad targets Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and Democrats in general.
Apparently some folks are pissy that they called Frank "catty", as if suddenly that's a gay slur or something.

off topic, but yahoo news has an item headlined "Indonesia tsunami kills 23, leaves scores missing"
Wasn't the Earth supposed to start healing when Obama became President? Did anyone inform Gaia of Big O's election 2 years ago?

I'm willing to bet that "attack" was coordinated leftist agitprop. I didn't see one punch thrown. Just some rasslin' and some dude pretending to "stomp" on that woman's shoulder.
I've seen better acting in porn. And I've seen a lot pf porn.

Hey Ben, I did see your call last night for the 72 hour GOTV push for Toomey. These next few days are bad and I'm going to DC this weekend, but I will do something either for Friday or Monday. Thanks for the heads up and the link
Thanks Kratos.
I am taking off election day to make calls.
I've never been involved before because I didn't know who to call. So i went to Toomey's website, clicked a link, filled in my name and phone number and got a phone call.
It was easy. I will let you know how it goes tonight as this will be my first time phone banking.
We not only need Toomey and Corbett to win, but we also need to flip all of the open House seats, and almost as imporant is the Pennsylvania Legistlature because redistricting is in this upcoming session of State congress. If we get enough R's in the Legislature and Corbett in the governorship then we might be able to undo insanely gerrymandered districts like the PA-12.

Matheson voted against TARP, I think, but he seems to be an anti-nuke eco-nut.

Funny, I thought Matheson would be one of the toast Congressmen this year.

I'm still getting the hang of politics here, but from what I can tell Matheson played it smart on his fiscal votes. His district includes the U of Utah area in Salt Lake City, so it's a more mixed district. He's running two types of ads (prior to this negative one): one which touts his eco stances, including a lot about nuke stuff, and another that claims he's a fiscal conservative.
Although Utah is super-red, as I understand it, Bennett (junior outgoing senator) got nuked because of his betrayal on TARP, and he got nuked in the R primary, whereas this guy Matheson did not make that mistake, plus the expectations for him are different since he's a D anyway.
I would be surprised if Philpot wins, but I am surprised to see Matheson go negative. I wouldn't think he'd have to.

Here's the thing - Gay people are often creative and entrepreneurial. That's why democrats are bad for gay people.

"You know, I think it's time for gay folks to abandon the Democratic party and vote for our pocketbooks"
Jim, thats a brilliant idea for an ad!

All my friends who are gay aren't so thrilled with bawney...they almost feel he sets gayness back a hundred years. One of my friends rolled his eyes the other night and said "he's the gloria alred of gayness" and it wasn't meant in a complimentary way. Just like good hardworking attorneys cringe when they see her on the screen so normal gay people cringe when they see him on the screen. This is why all the gay people I know love the gay couple on Modern Family, it speaks more to real life, more to the "hey look at us, we are the guys/gals next door, your friend from work or college"...."we aren't using our gayness to get ahead or somehow keep our Senate seat, we are just living our lives and making them as normal as we can"

--Wait, isn't GOProud a gay group? In any event, it seems to me that the term "catty" more implies the user is gay than the target, no?

Hopefully, citing Henry Waxman's support of Code Pink isn't a gay slur!
Chuck Wilkerson, Henry Waxman's opponent for Congress in California's 30th District, slams Waxman for helping Code Pink, a group of radical antiwar activists, that crossed the Iraqi-Jordanian border in order to deliver aid to families of enemy insurgents in the war-ridden Iraqi city of Fallujah. In December 2004, Waxman sent a letter of diplomatic courtesy to the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan, requesting assistance for members of the radical group Global Exchange and the antiwar group Palisadians for Peace.
