— Ace Just mentioning. 5:45 we're looking to get there. It's at Grimm's campaign offices in Dyker Heights, 7313 13th Avenue, between 73rd and 74th Street, off the D Train at the 71st street stop. It's a lovely day so we'll be out dropping literature and knocking on doors.
I mentioned something about a pick-up -- if you need a ride or can offer a ride let me know. The office is also willing to send out a car to pick people up, if we need that. Probably from a local stop, like one of the 2 or A stops in Brooklyn. (Whoops: Cancel that last part. One office offered that but the office we're going to says they can't do that.)

Just thought you'd wanna know that Gawker is currently running the most hilarious hit piece on COD evah.
I don't want to spoil it for you too much - but basically some guy with some Halloween photos of her in ladybug costume is anomalously claiming that she came on to him - but he ultimately rejected her because she was too hairy...down there.
Clearly Coons has at least a 21 point lead.

I wasjust checking out rdbrew's mini-blog over there ------------->
and he's got a neat Milbank piece.
Stewart, who struggled to suppress a laugh as Obama defended Summers, turned out to be an able inquisitor on behalf of aggrieved liberals. He spoke for the millions who had been led to believe that Obama was some sort of a messianic figure. Obama has only himself to blame for their letdown.
1) Who exactly led them to believe that Obama was a savior with magical powers?
2) Is Millbank suggesting that Obama is indeed a meesiah and he's choosing not to use his special powers?

I just got out of a rather interesting meeting. Stay engaged because the rewards will be aplenty. Let me just say, Mr. Obama is going to learn how the democratic system works pursuant to constitutional governance and the power of the subpoena.
This ain't idle chatter. Get us the majority in the lower chamber and the wheel is going to come off of this corrupt president and his administration. You are going to see the Axel sparking along the super highway of constitutional pavement with a sparks a flying.
Don't stop. This is not an election cycle. This is a historic election that will bring seminal change and uncover the dripping corruption that this administration, its key advisors and leader will wear around their necks like a millstone in a sea of constitutional enforcement and equitable legal justice.
You are making it happen and will be part of history.
Stay strong and keep believing because you are making history baby.
Believe It !

Dang Straights,
Lest you forget, we live in the x-files.
To wit:
Retail banks are broke
Your government is broke with close to 100T in unfunded obligations
Unemployment is 22%
The government is printing money to purchase its own debt
The government circumvented the constitution to pass a 2,300 page bill re-ordering 1/6th of the economy against the will of the people.
None of the congress read the subject bill which only passed by throwing out senate rules
With congresmen stating the constitution doesn't matter.
With a president and his advisors threatening the American people
A president who speaks in code to minority groups to "punish" their "enemies"
A white house mouth piece who mocks the press and U.S. citizens
A president who appears on MTV, Leno and the John Stewart show.
A congress who swears in comedian Stephen Colbert who proceeds to testify while in character before a U.S. House sub-committee.
A president whose records are under seal.
An administration who wants to prosecute terrorists in U.S. Civilian court
An administration who refuses to uphold the rule of law in Arizona and protect its citizens
An administration that demagogues Arizona's illegal immigration crisis to create a polity between illegals and legal law abiding citizens while a civil narco war rages across the border
A congress that allows the president of Mexico to castigate America and its soverignty and statutory laws while standing inside the halls of Congress.
A Federal Court that allows 11 separate Latin American countries to file amicus briefs on Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law.
Reason will not allow the above to go unchecked, not in a Constitutional Republic, not for long.

McRibs are good if you never cut it in half and see the gray mystery meat. MMMM McRib.
Whether it's symbolic or not, I'm not eating that shit. I'm cooking up some cajun catfish Tues. evening.

I'm feeling guilty. D'oh had a board meeting to attend in S. Gawja tonight and wanted me to go with him. After nearly 25 years eating rubber chicken dinners with him, I passed. Now I feel bad. So I'm calling out for pizza. Plus, I'll watch the Real Hos tonight in penance.
I'll make it up to him when he comes home tomorrow.

And the only content that wasn't leftist worldview fell under the "Belaboring the Obvious" category.

Reminds me of my own version of Old McDonald-
Old McDonald had a restaurant- E-I-E-I-O
And in this restaurant he served some HORSE E-I-E-I-O
With a Big Mac here, and a Big Mac there
Here a Big, there a Mac, everywhere a Big Mac...
I think you can imagine the rest. My line for the McRib?
And in this restaurant he served some Processed Pork Byproduct, E-I-E-I-O...

Wow that sidebar item about Milbank going after Barky on his TDS appearance is really irritating. Stewart looks to be criticizing him for not being enough of a leftist.
I mean, who could've guessed that one huh? Such an "able inquisitor". A real good interviewer that Stewart. Shame he was coming from the left. Didn't see that one coming, no sir.

To clarify what I mean. It is my guess that the person who submitted the pictures and letter to Gawker was the roommate she dated for a year. And this fairytale is his revenge for being dumped on that Halloween.

That's what Stewart's 'interview' with Obama was like. Why didn't you completely take over the health care sector?

Yeah the "anonymous" story teller seems full of shit. Even the gawker commenters are saying this.
The one big thing everyone is talking about is the fact that he turned down the sexy-time with her because she didn't trim her bush enough for his refined tastes.
But the entire way the guy wrote the article, it just feels like bullshit. This basically sums it up: "She like totally wanted me, brah, but I just wasn't interested. I get WAAAAAAY to much play to care about someone like her."
For the amount of tang that this guy gets, you would think that he might realize that, actually, a lot of girls don't go girls scouts style down below.
Of course, if he were just some 2-bit troll who lives in his mom's basement and watches porn all day long.... then it makes sense that he thinks that!!
Anyways... it seems like gawker is getting hosed all around for this one. I think they went to far here, even for them. They might be getting a little cocky after the Brett Farve takedown on the gawker sub-blog deadspin.
