Interpol Issues Red Notice for WikiLeaks Wanker

A "Red Notice" is Interpol's way of notifying participating countries that a warrant has been issued and that the issuing country is seeking extradition.

This Red Notice relates to the rape and sexual harassment investigations that started in August.

Assange's details were also added to Interpol's worldwide wanted list. Dated 30 November, the entry reads: "sex crimes" and says the warrant has been issued by the international public prosecution office in Gothenburg, Sweden. "If you have any information contact your national or local police." It reads: "Wanted: Assange, Julian Paul," and gives his birthplace as Townsville, Australia.

Assange is supposedly in a "secret location" outside London.

3 Looks like he shoulda got some dirt on Interpol, instead of focusing on bringing down the US. This just goes to show - a sleaze ball is a sleaze ball and you can't put anything past their depravity. Sex crimes, espionage, and whatever else they desire to do, they'll do. Every serious crime punished by death prevents another like it from happening, simply by preventing recidivism.

18 I should also mention that the term "red notice" for an arrest warrant & extradition notice is super gay. If I'm an arch-criminal, I'm not terribly concerned that some European dork has issued a red notice about me. Sounds like I just need to stop by the old home office and pay a small fine or something.

The Euros have a lot of gay-sounding legalisms, like "Mr. Commerce" for a commerce secretary and so on. That said, I would definitely be OK with being known professionally as "Mr. Terror".

I hate Assange, but I don't put it past any government to do a character assination (or reall assination for that matter) or create some bogus trumped up charges to take down someone who is a thorn in its side.

Get Assange for treason or dissemination of classified documents. And if he raped someone, take him down. But I am suspicious of the sex assault charges and the timing of the prosecution.
