In this article about Senators (from both parties) shaking down banks and Wall St. firms for contributions, there is a picture of the soon to be doomed Senator Blanche Lincoln along with Senator Scott Brown. The article DOES make mention of Lincoln, but makes NO MENTION of Brown at all, ANYWHERE.
Rushed editing? Perhaps, but the article is long enough that it clearly wasn't tossed together in an hour and slammed out, so that seems like a long shot.
I don't believe in "coincidences" when it comes to things like this. Brown isn't even on the Senate Banking Committee, so he's nothing special when it comes to ObamaBanking™ reform -- just one vote out of a hundred. Why not put a Bill Nelson picture there? Or someone from Wyoming or Montana?

And I voted for him and support him whole heartedly until the next primary.

Sigh...Obambi called Brown today to "discuss" the financial regulation issue. Brown says so himself over at NRO.
So maybe it "was" a "rushed editing" thing.
Someone should compile a list of "Neverminds" from Ace and his contributors. Get rid of the ancient Paul Anka shit etc and list them on the right.
Embarrassing.
(what's worrisome is that Teh Won perceives Brown as someone who can be "got".)

Bull Shit
Who did Fox push during the 2008 primaries? They started pushing RINO Rudy. When he decided not to run they switched to the Maveriky SOB. Neither one of those is a conservative. In fact, most of us question whether or not they are even Republicans.
There has long been a meme out there that the WSJ is 'conservative". Just like the meme that Fox is conservative, it is FOS. The WSJ "news" section is just like the Fox "news" section, staffed with a pile of ultra-liberal Obama voters.
The communists like to complain about Fox, and to some extent, the WSJ. They do that to try and throw out the idea that there is some kind of balance in the news.
There is no balance. Every print newspaper from the big cities down to the little hickburgs are nothing more than PR rags for the Democrap party. And every TV news organization is liberal to the core.
We lost "freedom of the press" years ago when the DOJ allowed all the mergers. It was no coincidence that it was Democraps in power when that happened.

They must have figured everything looks better with Scott Brown. The Dems are still sore that they lost to him but wish he was on their team. So, they're putting the story out that he is. Concern trolls stroll through comment sections of blogs calling Brown a secret infiltrator and a sellout. It's totally baseless, but I hear it everywhere.
Republicans must think Brown's disposable now, because the healthcare bill passed. They're too pessimistic by nature to believe they could actually win in Massachusetts by merit of their ideas. So, they believe the Dems when they say Scott Brown won owing to his looks and has no loyalty to the party who elected him. I hope everyone can see what's going on here.

Anyway, I imagine this talking point will be spewed endlessly when Brown goes for reelection:
In the 6 days before the special election for US senator from Massachusetts, employees of financial companies gave a whopping $450,000 to Scott Brown. Guess they got what they paid for.
Now all 25,000 won't lose their jobs because, the Senator from Massachusetts is there to protect them and not let those evil liberals destroy "free trade".

I heard Brown's appearance on Face the Nation the other day and he was strong. He didn't fall for Schieffer's baiting tactics - namely, that Republicans are for Wall St. shenanigans because they oppose teh won's latest scam bill.
Brown clearly stated that teh won's bill casts a wide net that will ensnare employers such as Liberty Mass, other financial institutions in the state of Massachusetts, and that thousands of jobs are at stake. Schieffer then coyly attempted to entrap Brown into the 0bama/socialist meme, but Brown redirected the old bitch to the fact that all the JOBS promised by teh won stimulus have not appeared.
This is what the Republicans need to keep hammering - where are the promised jobs?

That clip I linked above supports my point that Palestinians and Democrats are identical in their tactics.
The Palestinians can kill Israelis, call for genocide, insult, inflame, and lie. But when the Israelis defend themselves or just build apartment buildings, they're committing war crimes and crimes against humanity!
The Democrats can insult you, spread rumors about you, even call for your arrest, imprisonment, and execution. But if you hold a peaceful protest against their policies...

Correct, for the most part, though possibly less than other MSM outlets, owing to the WSJ's editorials attracting righty newswriters who couldn't/wouldn't work elsewhere.
I wrote to one of the WSJ newsies about a story in which he tossed off references to "redlining" as though it were fact. It is, in fact, lefty lore, not a speck of truth to it. He wrote back citing several lefty books as authorities.

Two Points:
1. In the print edition of the article, there are 6 senators. They cropped it to the last two online: Lincoln and Brown.
2. In the same issue:
Republican leaders, Obama aides, tea-party activists and Senate Democrats all want to know: Who is the real Sen. Scott Brown?
Is he the Republican avenger who stormed to victory three months ago vowing to block the health-care overhaul? Or is he the pragmatic politician who has shown a willingness to compromise on the Democratic majority's priorities?
So far, the Massachusetts lawmaker has been a bit of both. The next clue to his identity could come as early as this week, when Mr. Brown could face a decision on whether to back the Obama administration's drive to overhaul regulation of the banking industry.
Senate Democrats need at least one Republican to break a logjam and push ahead on the initiative. The former Massachusetts state legislator is a top prospect, and if he goes with the majority it could open the door for others to follow or, at a minimum, lend a veneer of bipartisanship to the vote.

38 It seems that the more affluent suburbs are more likely to vote Dem. WTF are they thinking?
The residents of affluent suburbs are like the snobs & co-snobs of the media referred to above, worrying about little details like taxes shows that you aren't really affluent, you're just a poseur. Because after all, the truly rich don't give a damn about paying taxes, they have so much money that they never even miss the extra money out the door for taxes (in reality they have fifty schemes till Tuesday on how to avoid paying taxes but that's another story).
So coming out in favor of policies that are bad for you is actually good for you, as long as you can show your fellow dummies that you are voting for the "correct" candidate and that your thinking is in all ways "correct".

Reporters in general are overwhelmingly liberal. As Bernie Goldberg has pointed out, 'it's not a conspiracy, it's just natural.' The editorial page, especially the editorials themselves, are conservative on almost every issue you can name. Except illegal immigration.
84 78 - perfect description of Swarthmore, PA
The trend in PA (and probably a lot of the country) is that Democrats flee the Democrat-run shitholes as soon as they are able...move to GOP areas for low crime and good schools....and then resume voting Democrat. Until they create new, suburban shitholes, from which they flee to sub-suburban havens and start continue the cycle. The area around Phildelphia is a prime example.

In my morning print edition of the WSJ, the Scott Brown picture next to Blanche Lincoln is not the Scott Brown from Cosmo and the most recent election.
It is some old fat guy. (maybe Richard Shelby?) But it says "Scott Brown" under the pic.
Below the senator story, on the same page, is a different, unrelated story on Scott Brown.
I'm confused. I think the WSJ messed up badly here. I noticed lots of editing mistakes, proofreading mistakes and typos since Rupert took over. Hmmm.

It has in the horizontal bar chart that Brown received $353k in political donations from the securities and investment industry.
But that is decidedly NOT a picture of Scott Brown, though the caption says it is. It is Richard Shelby.
There is not a single mention of Brown in the actual written piece.
The article directly below the aforementioned article is "Upstart Senator Stays in Play" ....who is the real Scott Brown? and goes on to try and figure out what the guy stands for and what kind of republican politician he will be.
"Brown does not consider himself "wooable" by either party, noting, "I don't owe anyone anything"..."
Yeah, shenanigans.

OG,
Which still raises the question of why they used Brown's picture but omitted Richard Shelby, who ranks #7
The article below this one in the print edition highlights Brown as a key vote:
Republican leaders, Obama aides, tea-party activists and Senate Democrats all want to know: Who is the real Sen. Scott Brown?
Is he the Republican avenger who stormed to victory three months ago vowing to block the health-care overhaul? Or is he the pragmatic politician who has shown a willingness to compromise on the Democratic majority's priorities?
