L.A.-Area Moron Meetup Scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20

Mark your calendars, Los Angeles-area readers. Several of you have risen to my challenge that San Francisco was easier to mobilize and demanded an opportunity to prove that L.A. morons are just as capable of getting together to drink as San Fran nancy-morons.

To that end, we will have a Moron Meetup the evening of Saturday, February 20 in Hollywood. The place has $6 valet or street parking nearby.

As per our usual practice, you can get the time and location via email. Long-time reader h2u has offered to handle that part of the organizing. You can reach him at "HebrewToYou" at google-mail. (Email addy not spelled out in a probably-vain attempt to cut down on spam. Put the name in quotes with "@gmail.com".)

Update: Hey, apparently there are Facebook and Yahoo and Google group sites set up for this kind of thing. I don't know about that stuff, so if you're on one of those groups, you might mention this post on there. Thanks!

I have some very long-time friends that live up there. What side of the 210 is your sister on? I dearly hope you aren't up there because she got burned out or washed out.

And no, thankfully for them no damage from the fires...really close to their place though...lots of claims in their area for smoke damage. Their place is a work in process...will be back out in March to do more stuff! Love it here in the Winter time!!!
