7 Honestly, I'm somewhat surprised the term "bomb" is accepted, but heck, sure, I'll give a few sheckles to rid the Republic of two offensive office holders.

Crist is only a shadow of the horror that is that PA Senator, but hey, both deserve some love.

How is Toomey polling?

ahead of specter, farther ahead of Sestak.

The race between Sestak and Specter is closing, but in all likelihood it will be Specter v. Toomey in the General Election

Amen brother. I am never donating to the NRSC, RNC or the other Republican Committees.

For the rest of my life i am going to donate to the individual candidates.

11 What's "flip the switch" mean for Rubio? That seat's already Republican.

Do you think there'll be an Undocumented Worker Month in the same idea as Black History Month where kids are indoctinated on the accomplishments and contributions of illegal residents in the United States?

The reason I ask is because Rush was talking about that questioned asked by a young dummy at Obama's rabble rouser, yesterday. The question to President Sphincter was in regard to AZ's new law, "What do you plan to do for all those undocumented workers who hepled establish this country?"

18 OT, I'm amused and disgusted by people who advocated for Obamacare complaining about Oklahoma's ultrasound law on grounds it's inconsistent with conservative belief in gov't out of healthcare.    Y'all begged the gov't to control your body, you got gov't "controlling your body" (looking at a screen is "control"?).  Only problem I see here is that gov't controls my body now, too.

My friends,

I've decided to leave the Republican party and join with my friends Lindsay Graham and Charlie Crist to form a new party that embraces everything America stands for. We don't have a name for our new party yet, but we just couldn't stand to stay in an organization taken over by race baiters and other fringe elements. Join us, my friends, and let's take back America!

One important thing to remember is that the GOP establishment originally told us that Toomey couldn't possibly win or even come close to Specter in the general election, and now he's leading and will probably win.

In fact, the NRSC hated Toomey so much that after Specter flipped, they were trying to get Tom Ridge to win--knowing full well that Ridge couldn't possibly win the primary.  Why?

Because numerous Republican Senators wanted to ensure a victory for Specter--as a Democrat--simply to send a message that no primary challenge would ever be tolerated, and that they would ALWAYS take the side of the Democrat over the conservative wing of their own party.

Keep this in mind next time you hear some Beltway Republican chide us about "voting strategically."  Conservative Republicans don't lose because they are unpopular with voters.  They lose because they are saddled with a treasonous, anti-American, and sexually perverted (see Charles Crist) establishment wing of their party that collaborates with the Democrat/Communist Party to keep them from winning, and to keep them as second-class citizens--exactly the way their Communist forebears kept the kulaks as second-class citizens, or the Nazis kept the Jews, right before loading them into cattle cars and exterminating them.

Once we have eliminated the treasonous Democrat/Communist Party, we need to start on their Frumite collaborators immediately.

No he didn't. You need to google up the original quote and read it and NOT depend on Politico for anything related to republicans.

Rubio was interviewed by our local radio talk show host today on that subject:

You can decide for yourself, but it doesn't sound to me like he's against it much.  He's much more annoyed with the fed govt for not doing its job of protecting Americans and forcing Arizona's hand, and apprehensive of what Obama will do in retaliation.

33 Fuck Rubio.  He's pandering to the Hispanic vote, period.  I read the whole quote, and my opinion hasn't changed.

While on the way home from work today, I was grumbling upon listening to Todd Schnitt go on about Rubio's rejection of Arizona's new law. I, on the other hand, came to the same conclusion as you, Marybeth, now having heard the actual interview. In addition, he was quick to point out that the Fair Tax is nothing similar to the VAT.

Good stuff. Thank you for that link!

Against it much=against it.  Way to give bipartisan cover.  Fuck him.  He is trying to back off his position of against it yesterday.  Olberman sang his praises for being anti AZ law.

Rubio had his chance to be a leader and wiffed.
