Multiple Layers of Painstaking Editorial Fact Checking at CNN
— Gabriel Malor

The whole dealio is a photo still, and I'm not stealin' it, so you'll hafta click over to see just how bad CNN's political coverage is.

In short, they got the wrong person, then spelled the name wrong, and gave the wrong title and this is for someone who is as well known as the President.

Maybe the "Best Political Team on Television" has weekends off?

1 The A-Team was at the Sharpton rally.  It was the B-Team  mailroom guys covering Beck.

3 I guess they just don't care any more, since their viewers keep switching to Fox News.

No, it's TRUE because that's what they BELIEVE to be true- Sarah Palin was the Presidential candidate and Beck would have been the shadow prez running the show, just like Darth Cheney.  Don't you get it yet?

Posted by: Dang Straights at August 28, 2010 04:17 PM (l0LMD)

5 At leat the kept the 'l' in Palin. So I guess they've got that going for them.

8 O rmaybe they got confused because Beck and Palin both wear glasses.

I've been very good this year.

I don't ask for much. All I want for Christmas this year is for the two harmless black gentlemen that Denny Crane likes so much to move next door to him. Oh and if they can greet him every morning with their 'wooded sticks' that would be the best case scenario. Thanks, Santa!

67 I got in a semi-flame war on Amazon Book forums on a thread about fiction authors instilling their politics in their books. I brought up one book I read that was about a reporter ("Reporters are heros! They save lives!") was agenda #1 over and over.

But the kicker that let me know the author was a tree-hugging moonbat of the highest order was her reverential references to CNN and Christiane Amanpour as paragons of good reporting.

Believe me, it was a fun bitch fest--- most got the irony, except for the dingbats.  First cousin of moonbats, but not as sharp.

Just a curious observation:

Seeing that so many in the MFM were able to discern that the crowd at the Beck rally was “predominately white”, they must have gotten pretty close to make that determination one would think. If they were that close, how come they couldn't tell how many people were there? At least make a relatively reasonable estimate.

And, another cynical note: Since they were able to discern that the crowd was predominately white, they obviously noted that there were people of other ethnicities at the rally. My guess therefore, given the accuracy of their crowd size estimate, was that the number of 'other than white' people there was substantially higher than one would guess from their use of the word predominately.

I wasn't home today. I have no way if there oh-so-powerful grassroots retards came knocking on my door.

We had a ton leading up the '08 election. The funny thing--they were all collij kids that had taken a week or two off from classes to come to canvass in Ohio. No local people--ACORN probably couldn't pay the locals so they had to bring in the collij idjits.

When they'd pass out literature I'd ask if Obama's transcripts was included. All I got in return were blank stares.

Taking to the streets, marching, rallying, holding signs etc is suppose to be their domain.  They are getting beat at their own game and they don't like it.  Very threatening for them.

Morning Morons; I'm back.

What is shitty is that CNN is on the "standard" tier for all of the providers. Fox is on the middle tier. If you want Fox Business you have to go to the high tier.

God I hate the shitty tier system. What we need is a "cafeteria" system where you get to order a certain number of non-premium channels and you pick what you want from the total list. I have a feeling that if they did that some of these idgits like CNN and MSNBC would go out of business.
