— DrewM This boys and girls actually is a danger to fundamental rights...dare to oppose the received wisdom of the ruling class and you'll find yourself on the receiving end of a government sponsored colonoscopy. And sorry, due to cutbacks, there's no anesthesia.
"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City."
Political opposition to a building project? Threat to religious freedom. Government harassment of political opponents? Just another day at the office for Democrats. Somebody should write a book. Maybe call it, "Liberal Fascism" or something.
Who is joining in this crusade against Americans who dare exercise their rights? As far as I know, not even nut jobs like Olbermann and Obama have gone that far.
Liberals are always far more concerned about imaginary rights (abortion for example) than they are real ones (ever heard of the Second Amendment).
Via Keep America Safe. (I'd suggest changing the name to "Keep America Safe from Democrats).

Anyone who has seen a Congressional "investigation" knows that facts (if any are actually revealed) are buried under a massive load of posturing, self-aggrandizing bullshit from our so-called servants.
Sadly, that isn't limited to Dems, either, but the Repubs are usually too gun-shy to take the Pelosi Road and look as foolish as their "friends" across the aisle.
A true investigation of Nanzi would almost surely land her bony ass in jail. Same goes for probably 500 or more of our "representatives," including Osama Obama and the unelected members of his regime.

The war against the terrorists is not a war against Islam. In fact, you can't have an effective war against the terrorists if it is a war on Islam.
George W. Bush understood this. And it is odd to see Barack Obama less clear about this matter than his predecessor. It's time for W. to weigh in.
This - along with immigration reform and AIDS in Africa - was one of his points of light. As the man who twice went to war in the Muslim world, he has something of an obligation to add his anti-Islamophobia to this mosque madness. W. needs to get his bullhorn back out.

Barack Obama likes what he hears.
"Right now all around this country there are groups with harmless-sounding names like Americans for Prosperity, who are running millions of dollars of ads against Democratic candidates all across the country. And they don't have to say who exactly the Americans for Prosperity are. You don't know if itÂ’s a foreign-controlled corporation. You don't know if itÂ’s a big oil company, or a big bank. You don't know if itÂ’s a insurance company that wants to see some of the provisions in health reform repealed because itÂ’s good for their bottom line, even if itÂ’s not good for the American people."
Irony called. They'd like all their curiously-funneled $10 donations to OFA back.

And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said.
If we lived in a country that had a free and independent press, this woman would be out of office within 24 hours.
Think about that, and about how vulnerable we are to abuses of government power, because of the sell-out of the media to one party. Absent any inclination on the part of the media to hold Democrats to any standard of accountability, the only way we have to protect ourselves is is at the ballot box. Remember, Democrats just demonstrated over the past year that if they think they can get away with it they will ignore the people's will with glee. I never again want to see a Speaker of the House taunting crowds of angry citizens by parading through them holding up the House Gavel as a symbol of her power and distain.
We have to run every Democrat out of office and make it so sound a thumping that the media cannot help them cheat enough to steal it. Then we need to destroy the Democrat-owned media outlets via their advertisers, to make sure this situation does not arise again.

Right now, all around the New World, there are colonies with innocent-sounding names like "New York," or "Philadelphia," who are running million-dollar economies without adequate reimbursement to The Crown. And they don't have to say who exactly the colonies feel indentured to. You don't know if it is the native savages. You don't know if its a big tobacco company, or their own notion of federal currency. You don't know if its some sort of revolutionary organization of "Americans" who feel that forming their own government would be good for them, even if it's not good for the bottom line of His Majesty.

Nancy Pelosi Wants To Investigate Funding Of Ground Zero Mosque Opponents
Funny how you can be just reading a long with one eye and on the screen and one on your coffee until you get to the last word in a headline like that.

From NBC:
NEW YORK — With the controversy still swirling over plans for a mosque near the former World Trade Center, President Obama said Wednesday that he had "no regrets" about his involvement in the debate.
Answering a reporter's question at a political event in Columbus, Ohio, the president initially paused, then turned to a TV camera and said, "The answer is — no regrets."
He paused because they were still getting his response up on the Royal Teleprompter

Yeah, this mosque issue is really helping Obama in the polls:
ObamaÂ’s Ground Zero Mosque endorsement has done wonders for his approval and disapproval ratings. Even on Gallup. The day Obama endorsed the Mosque, he was at 46% approval and 47% disapproval. Today, as of August 17th, Obama sits at 42% approval and now a record high of 51% disapproval. This represents a 4% drop in approval and 4% rise in disapproval since endorsing the Mosque in front of a bunch of Muslims at the Friday Ramadan dinner. HowÂ’s that endorsey mosquey working out for you Obama/Progressives?

He's going by his own experience. Someone else filled out all his forms, hid his records, wrote his "autobiography," got him jobs, in short did all his lifting, heavy and light.
He doesn't know that people not covered by Super-Affirmative-Action don't have it that easy.

If building a mosque in New York will create better understanding among adherents of different religions, just think what effect the rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem will have.

Money quote:
"Democrats nationwide, including President Barack Obama, have defended the proposal as protected by the Constitution's guarantee of religious freedom. Many Republicans have called it an affront to the memory of those killed in the Sept. 11 attacks."
So you see, it is the Democrats who are on the side of the Constitution and religious freedom. Peons.

I'm starting to think she's not the brightest politician around. She's hyperpartisan, but that comes from her district--that's how she gets away with it. She's not really a leader of the House. She's presiding over a major beat down, a beat down she caused.
She's dumb. Hyperpartisan, but dumb.

The Precedent has never quite been able to master the correct usage of the indefinite article. He usually reads "an" correctly, but, when he's off-TOTUS, it becomes apparent that "an" isn't really part of his natural vocabulary.
That speech also included,
"We have single-handedly started a advanced battery manufacturing industry right here."
This was probably a TOTUS speech, but The Precedent couldn't keep his mind focused on what TOTUS was telling him to say and he drifted off into his natural Indonesian-type English.
BTW, as I was looking for the video (to check that the transcription was correct - as they usually clean up his problems with "an") I found this video of an old speech he made in Austin where a big "Investigate 9/11" sign was being held up in the front row. It's interesting that the Indonesian didn't seem bothered by that. Check out the beginning of this video to see how prominent the sign is.
Also, I would take issue with how the White House transcribed the new speech on the whitehouse.gov web site. It should be written as "aaay", since The Precedent, at least, stretches out a long "a" in place of the correct "an".
I think this was the sort of command of English that Hah-vahd liked so much - enabling them to overlook what must have been pathetic test scores and a laughable class schedule.

They really do see us as budding Nazis, murderous thugs who are one code word away from chopping them up with machetes and shoving them in ovens. I don't think we have plumbed the depths of the level of dehumanization they have poured out upon those who merely disagree with them politically.
Think about it, think of all the plants, animals, rocks and foreign people who get preferential treatment from the left before they will ever grant a mote of humanity to their political opponents.
They don't want to beat us,they want us dead and gone. That's why they've been so angry even after they won the White House and filibuster-proof majorities in Congress. And they are angry because it hasn't happened yet; it isn't because they're not getting the prefect of what they want (they have come darn close) it's because we subhumans, we evil, still breath.

This is one way in which the Mohammedan Mouthpiece clearly outdistances Dubya: Bush 43 could mangle the language from time to time, but never quite as effectively as Osama Obama, who often sounds like a stumbling ESL student just beginning his studies.
An uncorrected transcript of any speech by the Traitor-in-Chief is virtually incomprehensible. Maybe he needs a teleprompter or something.

I am waiting for election night, when after learning she will no longer be Speaker, she appears on TV with a ghastly frozen rictus trying to pass itself off as a "smile" and attempts to spin it all away.
All across America hooting and jeering will be heard from millions of The People, who will have risen up to smite their tyrant masters.

i hope he isn't on the right
You're probably correct, but if it turns out it was someone on the right, would it be a particular surprise at this point?
Over the last nearly-two years, we've seen the government, and the ruling party in particular, go out of its way to be as provocative as possible--calling opponents Nazis and racists with no evidence at all, passing unpopular legislation, and generally thumbing their nose at American citizens. Eventually, people are going to get so fed up that they just might decide, "Well, if my so-called betters are going to treat me like a non-citizen and enemy of the state, then why not give them what they expect? Beats having to constantly deny their allegations and prove myself over and over again." People will tend to conform, over time, to the vision that the regime imposes on them, and the longer the current manifestation of Democrats--influenced as they are by the Communist-oriented rhetoric of the eternal societal struggle, where internal warfare is considered a feature, not a bug--remain a significant force in American politics, the more likely it becomes that a sort of violent denoument occurs. The core of their philosophy demands that it be so.
The age of sober political discourse has always had its peaks and valleys, but we are at a point similar to what the national mood was like in the 1850s--hopelessly divided and on the razor's edge of national upheaval. The difference between now and then is instead of Henry Clay, we have Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and the consequences for that lack statesmanship and integrity are going to be pretty severe.

I have been driven by fashion and return to using this type of moccasin, which has not done since the 10 or 11 years. However, in aged skin that gives a much more current. If I'm correct this issue "used" is achieved by waxing the skin and then brushing the wax burns and, to be darker than the skin makes a patina reminiscent of the shoes and other leather goods that have been used for long
