NFL Pickem Week 13 Results
— Dave in Texas

Peyton Manning is human after all. On the plus side, looks like his income taxes aren't going up.

Lose a few, win a few, as they say.

Here's the moron standings you morons, including the low rung lamest football pickers you ever smacked in the mouth for their lunch money.

The Good:

Reggie Bush's Birth Cert: 111
joltin' j: 109
Quarreyman: 106
Commando Pete: 106
Bruin 22: 105
Iowa Amy: 105
HailMaryHector: 105

The Bad and the Ugly

Ben: 98
DrewM:92
Russ from Winterset: 90 (who correctly picked 13 last week!)
CDR M: 90
DiT: 84

Thanks as always, to Ben and CDR M for the cipherin.

Exit question: Jason Garrett, good enough?

In other news, Tom Brady is still a sissy boy and his wife is an eco-freak hypocrite Fountain of Decadence.  The only enjoyable part of the Jets/Pats game last night was the few times I saw Brady on his back.

5 Still beating Dave in Texas?

Yes, yes I am.

Tasty.

6 Exit question: Jason Garrett, good enough?

Probably, if he get's a better defensive coordinator in the off-season.  But he may not really get a chance: interim head coaches tend not to, as a rule.

I don't get ESPN, but I agree: that's the best part of any Pats game.

Drew, isn't that kind of like being excited you just beat a five year old in checkers?

Posted by: AllenG (Dedicated Tenther) at December 07, 2010 11:18 AM (8y9MW)

8 I think Garrett is an adequate replacement. He's been groomed to take over, you might as well let him.

The Steelers Ravens game was the most entertaining game of the weekend. I was looking forward to a Steelers-Ravens Sunday and Jets-Pats Monday game, too bad the monday game was over in the first few minutes.

Whether it's a 5 year old in checkers or Dave in Texas...if you are keeping score, the goal is to win.

I do not placate*.

Jason Garrett is an unrepentant ginger who acts as a doppleganger for the guy from Queens of the Stone Age.

With that said, they need to beat Philly this week.

16 I would become an Eagles fan but every time I support them I remember that Michael Vick is their QB. And he used to be a Hokie. And that the team is in Philly. Otherwise I'd be a fan in a heartbeat.

I'm not saying you should go easy on him, just that its not something to be excited over.  My wife doesn't let me win when we play Cribbage (a game I despise and am no good at); that doesn't mean she should be excited when she wins.

And I bet you don't let little kids win races with you- and then you laugh at them for losing.

Posted by: AllenG (Dedicated Tenther) at December 07, 2010 11:29 AM (8y9MW)

19 Wade:  1 - 7

Jason 3 - 1     ( and almost  beat them Saints )

any questions?

21 @16 - Michael Vick should not still be playing Football.  Or, you know, doing anything more glamorous than being Mr. Chinese Takeout Bicycle Delivery Man.

Apt location, given that Delaware and New Jersey would then be the ass-cheeks.

I hope the Skins win just because they benched for good that overpaid fatass Albert Haynesworth and will cut him at the end of the season. I wish they'd cut him now. And then smoke him and serve him with pancakes.

Fargen crybaby lazy farg.

35 Did everyone in the Moron Fantasy league see me lose to the 0-12 team? I haven't even logged on to the site yet. By my guesstimation I lost by10 points.

It was only a couple of points, but in his defense, he did have Kerry Collins as his starting QB.
