1 That was a pathetic display last night by the Skins. 

I usually pick the Skins out of a (stupid) sense of loyalty... but yesterday afternoon I switched to the Iggles.  Then I felt guilty so I stupidly stupidity stupid switched back to the Skins.

That game was so bad that the Skins fans didn't even bother to boo. 

2 I must be on the B+ squad.

4 I suck at pick'em.  But I don't suck as hard as some people.

5 I'm still leading DiT, so there's that.

10 Much improved, thank you for asking.  She apparently has a bad infection in her colon and is still in the hospital on IV antibiotics.  Her pain has almost gone away but they intend to keep her at least a couple of more days to try to find the source of the infection.  Up the hiney scoping either today or tomorrow depending.

15 Heh, on a happier note I did get 11 picks correct this week so I'm approaching .500 but just like calculus, I seriously doubt my chances of even passing DiT are approaching 0.

Just a theory of mine, but once a head coach like Wade Boggs loses the respect of his players, they will, subconsciously or wilfully, go into the tank to bring matters to a head and get the coach fired.  Then when they get what they want, the players will play over their heads to atone for going in the tank the previous weeks

They were, what, 11-5 last season? Beat the Eagles at home, then lost to the Vikings @MIN in the playoffs. I believe everyone came back from that 11-5 team. In addition, they picked up Dez Bryant to make the offense even better. But, their offense went from #2 in Rushing last season (131 yards/gm) to 2nd to LAST in Rushing this season (78 yards/gm). In addition, they were #4 vs Rush last season and are #23 vs Rush this season. So they can't run the ball and can't stop the run. Recipe for disaster. That said, 5 of their 7 losses have been by a TD or less. Shows they can't finish games. I think after they lost to the Giants at home, that was where the team gave up on Wade Phillips. Because they then went on to get smoked by JAC at home and @GB. But Jones made a good decision to fire Phillips. (1) because he'd lost the team and (2) to give Garrett a chance to show what's he got as a head coach. That's what they should have done in Minnesota after the Bears loss. They should have fired Childress, put in DC Frasier as the HC and gave him basically an 8-game audition as HC for next season. But, they're idiots in Minnesota. Which is fine as far as I'm concerned, since I'm a Bears fan.
