102 I don't think you can assume if there is no CBO score that there is no vote.  They will figure out a way to use a previous CBO score, probably from the Seante bill passage and apply it here, this is, after all, how they are operating these days.  What worries me is the comments by nanny p and BO tonight with Brett Beier, indicating that we will find out what is in this bill, AFTER it is voted in.  since they maintain that everything is "right out there, in plain sight, that they say exactly what they are going to do" then we can assume we will not see the bill and the media will report it is passed and signed and the blogesphere will be duly shocked.

105 Why didn't I ever get a test like this when I was a young'n? You take the test, get your grade, change your answers, get a new grade, repeat until you get a B+ (the new gold standard in the Obama years). The truly amazing thing is that there are probably a handful of Democrats involved with the 'change your answers' process and 200 democrats standing by to bless WHATEVER they do. It don't matter - Obama has spoken and the sheep will walk the plank as ordered.

Do they give the republicans the bill or whatever or only the dems. I would think they would have to give it to everybody. I guess they could just hand it out to the "yes" votes and call it a day or not hand it out at all and have an Irani/Venezuelan/Castro/Ussr vote.

Pledge that Majority Leader McConnel and Speaker Boehner will argue the case in front of the Supremes personally. After that - impeach Obama for signing a patently illegal measure that amounts to a coup. Hell, throw in treason charges. Pledge, in other words, to make the Democrats pay bitterly down to the last drop of political blood.

Assuming this somehow passes the house, the next line of attack would obviously be to present a point of order as to each and every change proposed to the Senate on the reconcilliation rules. If the GOP wins just one challenge, and sustains its filibuster, the Senate will not be able to pass a bill that is identical in each and every respect to the House bill.

And, as to each point of order that gets sustained, the next step is to oppose each and every amendment to a man, and force the Democrats to provide the entire margin of victory. Surely one of the changes will be unpalatable to the hard lefties like Boxer, Sanders, Franken, Leahy, Kerry, et al. This would force Reid to lean on his own caucus for each and every vote. This would stretch out the reconcilliation process well into the summer.

His is Melissa Hart's old district.  It's some residential areas around Pittsburgh and west.  They hate liberals and love Democrats.  They supported Swann for governor and he lost handily.  Hence, Altmire does the usual Blue Dog two-step and the blue-hairs who can't figure out why their kids have to move out of state to get a job but still have union bumper stickers on their cars vote for him.

If he votes yes, he's toast.  Problem: He may be toast anyway.  A Democrat from that kind of district is exactly who will be swept out this fall, regardless.  If that's the case, he may be looking to be the guy who kills Obamacare.  And, yes, he has to think about redistricting for 2012.  There is no logical reason why he should even be thinking of voting for this.  Pelosi must have his balls in a vice.

I'm just reporting what she just said on Batchelor's show and wow does she sound dejected.  She almost doesn't want to believe it.  I'm getting the impression that, based on what she said, if this guy votes yes, since the district went "very heavily for McCain" that the guy is essentially firing himself cause he won't win in the next election.
