Not as good as the Guitierrez Yes to No flip, but still good stuff.

1 I think the no's see the writing on the wall. Which might, just might mean they know the votes aren't there and it's safety in numbers.

2 Hmmm, methinks you should delay that trip by a few more days than three, Prez STFU.

I think my congressman Jason Altmire will end up voting yes in the end. I think he was on Clinton's advisory committee during the Hillarycare debacle. It is a republican and moderately conservative district. He is likely to lose anyway. He didnt vote for it the first time, but i think he will vote for it the second time around.

It's likely a lot of congressmen in swing districts have resignen themselves to a defeat in november and will end up voting yes.

4 The comments on the link are pretty funny.  Libs heads are exploding.  However, a few of the commenters think he can still be persuaded to vote Yes.

Now I've got to go scrub the toilets.  Happy Friday.

5 They HAVE TO VOTE YES!!! I'm staying in town for Three extra days to sign this so they MUST Pass the bill!

6 Repeat until memorized: Nancy has nearly eleven months to keep twisting arms. She will not stop. Even Democrats consumed with self-preservation will eventually crack. This is far from dead. The Senate bill has at least two chances out of three to emerge with approval from the House, whether through legal votes or unconstitutional chicanery.

7 From the "Chicago Way" files...

Gutierrez receives 200K loan from real estate developer on trial for federal corruption.  He testified yesterday.  It's a cash for votes scandal.

Most politicians will do just about anything to get re-elected. If voting no will help them, then that's what they'll do. They may publicly agonize over it but they'll vote their future economic interests, especially in this economy. I believe only payoffs will get some to vote yes.

11 I think Obama's staying in town will have the same effect as his travelling to Europe to pitch the Chicago Olympics.

12 Is this Nomentum XII? I was promised that aliens would abduct Pelosi in Nomentum XI.

15 Now I've got to go scrub the toilet.

You can't do that! It'll lose all its 'character'.

16 6 You are absolutely 100% correct. My only hope lies in the idea that as these douchbags jump to no, others will follow. A riot mentality--if enough break away she can't do anything.

17 Does Nomentum XII play on Nintendo? I've been looking for those cheat codes. I can never get enough of those pain pills and magic unicorn pies.

18 I think the time for all this talking about how the time for talk is over is, well, over.

By my count, it's 207-224, and Pelosi's best case scenario right now is 213-218.

This thing is jes' 'bout done, y'all.

I heard yesterday that the house leadership is trying to convince them that they are more likely to lose with a no vote than a yes because if they vote no they will lose their base. It's up to the real americans to call, fax, email, write, and scream enough that they think the opposite.

I'm starting to think that they have already lost the black bloc as acolytes with koolaid smiles. They CBC is already talking under their breath about how Obama has not helped them. The blacks won't vote the other way, they just won't vote.

Bambi probably forgot the whole 'quid pro quo' thing has an actual definition.  He has proven that he doesn't have anything to offer a Campaigning Politician other than his absence during the campaign.

That will not buy votes. Only Bribes, Favors and Graft will be available to him as his track record in closely contested elections is shit.

Methinks he excels at Law only when the questions are multiple choice...or given to him outright.

He has made so many obvious legal mistakes so far that it's obvious that he was affirmative actioned through school, placed in political jobs, had a political guest lecturer position which was entirely bogus. He know nothing and is proud of it. He doesn't want us to be a nation of laws, he wants a nation of "fairness".

Fair means that if you're not an oppressed minority you OWE.

22 My brother is a certified moonbat. I love him, but even blood has limits. I used to look forward to visiting him and engaging in (mostly) harmless political banter....now I'm almost at the point of just slugging him for supporting Obama and the rest of these clowns. I knew it would be bad, this is way over the top.
