Obama Admin: 20% Recidivist Rate for Terrorists "Isn't That Bad"
— Gabriel Malor

Really?

[National Security Adviser] Gen. Jim Jones defended Brennan, the president's top counterterrorism adviser, after Brennan on Saturday compared the U.S. criminal recidivism rate of 50 percent to the one in five terrorists who are released to other nations and return to the battlefield.

"Twenty percent isn't that bad," Brennan said.

Jones said the United States has to make sure to do the best it can, but it's unrealistic to think no terrorist allowed to go free won't return to battle.

"It's never going to be zero," Jones said on "Fox News Sunday." "We have a long history of having convicted terrorist in federal courts, locking them up for many, many years and doing the best we can, but zero is not going to be the standard in which we try to achieve it."

Lawfare at its worst. Jones makes the idiotic comparison of terrorism to crime. He makes a fundamental assumption that terrorists should be "allowed to go free", something not required by domestic or international law exactly because a detained combatant may rejoin the fighting.

Chief of firm involved in breach is Obama adviser

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.

John O. Brennan, president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., advises the Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source said.

Brennan briefed the media on behalf of the campaign this month.

The executive is a former senior CIA official and former interim director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

He contributed $2,300 to the Obama campaign in January...

Key witness in passport fraud case fatally shot
April 19, 2008

A key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department was fatally shot in front of a District church, the Metropolitan Police Department said yesterday.

Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators, was found late Thursday night slumped dead inside a car, in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast, said Cmdr. Michael Anzallo, head of the department's Criminal Investigations Division.

Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car...

Does this fucking putz NOT COMPREHEND that terrorism is the premeditated MURDER of innocent civilians in an undeclared war ?

Does he not know that we tend to either kill or incarcerate premeditated murderers for life even if it doesn't involve acts of terrorism?

We're not talking traffice violations here. We're talking about TERRORISTS. I have no problems expecting a zero recidivism rate if we execute the barbarians when we catch them, because they're not enemy combatants in a declared war. Even if you invoke the Geneva Convention they are war criminals eligible for execution.

O damn, I thought this was going to be a tin foil free day. Alas.

Brennan's people were snooping around in Obama's passport files to see whether there was any incriminating evidence which needed to be destroyed [or strategically misplaced] - such as evidence that Obama had ever travelled as Barry Soetoro on an Indonesian passport on or after his 18th birthday [Indonesia did not recognize duel citizenship at the time], or whether Stanley Ann Dunham might have crossed over the border to give birth to a baby in Vancouver, British Columbia, right before she enrolled at the University of Washington [Seattle] in mid-August 1961.

BTW, Jack Cashill has some fascinating new speculation on Obama's biological origins - he's floating the idea that BHO Sr was essentially hired to pretend to be the father and that Stanley Ann Dunham agreed to go along with the scheme - that the real father was Stanley Armour Dunham and that the real mother was probably a negro prostitute from the greater Seattle area.

50 Um, didn't Barry call this a "war," despite the previous eight years of The Worst Administration Ever, Eleventy? So, given that Barry actually admits we're in a war, what would the average citizen of 1944 say about releasing Axis POWs to their home countries, and having Teh Godlike FDR pronounce that one out of five Nazis returning to the battlefield wasn't that bad? Oh wait... terrorists aren't POWs. They are unlawful combatants and subject to summary execution, which happened under Saint FDR's rule, from time to time. Even Barry found a way to outdo the idiocy of FDR. At least FDR ran a war with average competence. Shame on both W and Barry for ever releasing these terrorists under any circumstance. That's some Andrew "vagina inspector" Sullivan-quality crazy right there.

True.

On the other hand, we have no plausible candidate for a scenario which explains how Stanley Ann Dunham could have given birth to a baby boy on August 4, 1961, in Hawaii, and then could have shown up two weeks later, as a single mother, attending the University of Washington in Seattle, halfway across the Pacific Ocean, in mid-August: That cover story is simply ludicrous.

So the timeline indicates that we don't know the true circumstances of Obama's birth, and, given that so many of the players involved have died, we may never learn the full story*.

But we do know that the Bolshevik power structure in this country [the Minows, the Ohrnsteins, the Ayerses, the Geithners, the Pritzkers, Koch, Soros, etc] had invested an enormous amount of time and effort in their star pupil, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they had arranged for some untidy loose ends - like Lt. Quarles Harris Jr. and Donald Young - to be swept right under the rug for him.

*Just as we may never learn the true story of the circumstances of Bill Clinton's conception, given that his ostensible biological father, William Jefferson Blythe, was off in Europe with the U.S. Army when Virginia Kelley was busy getting pregnant.

We were not going to go over 8% unemployment, remember.

20% KNOWN recidivist terrorist rate. As if what this administration admits is the limited extent. So what's the ridicule tag for those who doubt Obama's take on terrorists? Terrorists. Janet Napolitano's early official memo addressed those who doubt Obama's administration as terrorist-conservatives requiring DHS special attention.

Iran gave our military hell in Iraq. Now that our forces self defense are officially constricted in Obama's Afghan War, given Obama's OK on the Karzai 12 rules of engagement, these recidivist terrorists have liberties endorsed by Obama to return to battlefields OR to return to terrorize Western civilians at home.

Iran, the country that isn't that big, is getting nuclear weapon headlines. As if Obama's administration doesn't consist of disconnects. Hillary Clinton is delivering the Bush administration's speech about Iran "not responding" to Western concerns except by driving up threats; war drums are beating to expand our American global war efforts. Gates has already reduced our military's ability to respond to more than two battlefronts at once. So much for the "One Voice" this administration boasted; every contingency is given so-called equal opportunity media attention so that Obama can claim whatever various point was his all along.
