Obama Two Points Higher Than 39%
— Ace

Yeah, I know; I just wanted to write a number in the thirties.

Again, I expected his support to suddenly crater. That's not happening. It just continues eroding little by little.

Almost in the thirties.

Only 41% of those surveyed Tuesday through Sunday approved of the way Obama is handling his job, his lowest rating in the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll since he took office in January 2009. In GallupÂ’s separate daily tracking poll, his approval was at 45% Monday.

So why didn't you hear about this new low water mark? Because the media do what they always do -- when they want to hide bad poll numbers for a Democrat, they instead focus on other findings. In this case, they headline that support for the war is falling.

Well, okay, so it is.

But what about that 41%? That seems rather important too, eh?

Or are they trying to imply that's the major source of public dissatisfaction -- blaming Bush, as usual?

And how is Blame Bush going these days?

Forty-eight percent of voters now believe that President Obama's policies are to blame for the bad economy, while 47 percent fault former President George W. Bush.

According to a new Rasmussen survey, Obama's 48 percent represents a three-point increase since last month, giving him a greater share of the blame than Bush for the first time since May 2009, when the question was first polled.

I have a dream that when Obama is voted out of office, his first network interview in 2013 will consist of the former president blaming Bush.

The Democrats are in a Catch-22.

Dem: "This economy is Bush's fault!"

Voter: "Oh, so then you haven't done anything since taking office to fix it?"

Dem: "Of course we have!  We passed the stimulus, and ObamaCare, and financial reform!"

Voter: "Oh, so the things you did were completely ineffective."

Dem: "Of course not!  The programs we put in place are working great!"

Voter: "Oh, so then you made the economy what it is today."

Dem: "Yeah, but, no, but, but, but yeah, no, but... BOOOOOOOSSHHH!"

What numbers do you get if you re-run those stats back to Jan. 3, 2007, when the Democrats took control of both houses of Congress?

I wonder if the trend lines have a monotonic slope - the country was in okay shape on Election Day 2006, rough shape on Election Day 2008, and awful shape today.  The graph's X-axis should have the notations "Pelosi/Reid take control of Congress" and "Obama inaugurated."  That picture would say a lot, I bet.

That USED to be a joke illustrating the difference between the working class in America and the working classs in Britain.  It went like this:

When a worker in the US sees a rich man drive by in a Cadillac, he says to himself, "Man, someday I'm gonna have me one of those!"  When a worker in Britain sees a rich man drive by in a Bentley, he says to himself, "Man, someday I'm going to make that bastard drive a Morris Minor like everyone else!"

The roles are almost reversed nowadays.

Tinfoil-hat stuff? I (and many others) would have said that about people who prophesied some of the truly treasonous stuff Obama has done in less than two years, and we would have been wrong.

I now believe there is no depth too low for the America-hating, revenge-driven, race-obsessed jerk to go. He laughs at these polls, because those being polled are swiftly losing any ability to affect his schemes.

They really said this!  The stoopid quotient is oftentimes quite staggering.

They are not this stupid....they are just pandering to their base: Angry, bitter, jealous, uninformed and uneducated dolts who think the world owes them a living.

Balack Obama is not on the ticket this year, so they know they'll never get black people to show up to the polls like they did in 2008. They have to do something to get their folks fired up enough to get they asses up to vote.

Which is why I think that for every election, the day before should be called "Get High Day". Keep the dumbasses away from the polls. The Founding Fathers knew that people who had no nuts in the vice shouldn't have a say-so on it getting tighter. (I know, I know...they were racist misogynists, Jeanine.)

Here's to hoping true conservatives have a BIG night!

Worse than Hannity, and I may be the only one here who just doesn't like that guy at all.

While I'm ideologically simpatico with Hannity, and I think his heart is in the right place, he's a broken record.  Plus, I don't think he's all that bright.  I very rarely learn anything listening to him.   (I've switched to Medved.)  On TV, with the absence of Colmes, he's become a Media Matters stereotype.  At least Colmes, wimp that he is, was some counterpoint.

OT: Harry Reid has put his idiotic energy bill on-hold, thank God, though that hasn't prevented him from whining about it.

Great quote from Sen. Inhoffe:

"As the Majority Leader dithers about how to exploit an environmental tragedy, thousands of workers in the Gulf are suffering because of President Obama's offshore energy moratorium."

"The Republican alternative, of course, would do away with this job-killing nightmare," he added. " Yet now, everyone from fishermen to manufacturers to waiters to rig workers is left wondering whether they'll get their jobs back. The message those folks got today from Sen. Reid? Keep wondering."

Well, if even one state opts out of ObamaCare, then that really throws a wrench into the whole idea that the individual mandate is a tax, since taxes must be applied uniformly - even though that tax argument is asinine and beyond stupid to begin with.  But, the tax argument seems to be what the junta is resting their case on ... though they didn't even mention racial profiling in their treasonous case with Mexico against Arizona and the judge, there, ruled on the fear that some racial profiling "might" occur, anyway.

If states opt out of ObamaCare, then one can be sure that many people and businesses are going to migrate to those states, if somehow the rest of the Dems' semi-national socialized health scare is forced on the other states.

In reality, though, if any of ObamaCare clings to life, then it will be one of the major reasons why a whole slew of states decide to leave and form their own nation.

Yep noticed that on friday, the tea party people were being really slammed everywhere so I figured they were transitioning from "blame bush" to "blame the tea party people".  What I don't understand is how they are going to do it when, even people who haven't officially joined a tea party group, think of themselves as on the side of the tea party people.  So, basically, it's any American using their brain versus "the narrative" and the spin masters and the lobbyists and some lawyers and all the government and their employees, some of whom do not engage their brains.

And he said we'd just give Bush some more Hell
That's always worked before
Those polls are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know
The blues polls send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till Marxist happiness steps up to greet me

Polls keep a fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean the country will soon be turnin' red
Losin's not for me

217 It took Bush SIX years to go down to 43 percent as of August 2006. It took Obama only eighteen months to reach that point. Only forty seven percent of people polled admit to a stranger that they voted for Obama, despite his having received allegedly 53 percent of the vote. Which goes to show that failure is an orphan.
Also congrats to Missouri, where 72 percent of the people rejected Obamacare, which was 14 percent HIGHER than even Rasmussen's 'koolaid' polling of 58% indicated would be the margin of victory. So if the polls are undercounting repub/
conservative turnout to the tune of 10-15 percent, in a bellweather state like Missouri, the dems disaster in November will be of historic proportions. Can you say veto proof House of Reps?
