— Purple Avenger Thundering applause! Overwhelming support!
...The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, conducted on the first two nights after the president signed the bill, shows that 55% favor repealing the legislation. Forty-two percent (42%) oppose repeal. Those figures include 46% who Strongly Favor repeal and 35% who Strongly Oppose it.As HST would say: Buy the ticket, take the ride. Those numbers only get worse when people find out they'll be subsidizing fracking Viagra for sex offenders and some of the other delectable goodies foisted off on them. Crunchy Frog? Anthrax Clusters? Spring Steel Surprise? Mmmmm good.In terms of Election 2010, 52% say theyÂ’d vote for a candidate who favors repeal over one who does not. Forty-one percent (41%) would cast their vote for someone who opposes repeal...

"they can drop the Replace and just stick with Repeal. "
To maximize support, since there are some who want to maintain some portions, I vote for Replace over Repeal. Repeal sounds like ALL. Replace can more easily be sold as Replace the applicable sections.
And to tie the GOP, exposing every flaw they find in the bill - add Reveal
Reveal & Replace.

Jill says her daughter, a pro-life advocate, was given a pass, put in a taxi and sent off to have an abortion during school hours all without her family knowing.
S'cuse me, but this must just be bad writing. Maybe the mom is the pro-life advocate. The daughter just had a sneaky abortion. QED, not a pro-life advocate.
T.J. Cosgrove of the King County Health Department...but don't always have a say.
"At any age in the state of Washington, an individual can consent to a termination of pregnancy," he said.
So, a 12 year old knocked up by Uncle Chester can get an abortion via her middle school health clinic, and that's just hunky-dory?

The local commie rag ran an editorial cartoon, with a squeezed toothpaste tube labeled Health Care Bill, and a troglodyte labeled Conservative trying to put the toothpaste back in. That's where they think things stand.
So, over a the doughnut shop, a big old guy said, "Somebody put that toothpaste in there in the first place, you know." That's like a battle cry. We invented toothpaste tubes, dammit. Some people might be surprised what we can put back in there.
On a personal and ONT note, I once un-screwed a floozy. Changed my mind. Precedented.

OT via The Hill: Biden: Obama Liked My 'Big F'ing Deal' Remark
President Obama was amused by Joe Biden's "big f---- deal" outburst at Tuesday's healthcare signing ceremony, the VP said last night.
According to a pool report, Biden told the audience at a Baltimore fundraiser that Obama laughed about the remark on Wednesday morning.
“You know what the best thing about yesterday was?" Obama said, according to Biden. "Joe's comment."
Obama even thought about having a t-shirt printed with the phrase printed on the front.
I thought The Hill was a legit news source & not The Onion?

Don't forget Medved. His show has devolved into a stream of spittle-flecked tirades against anyone who doesn't want to amnesty 20 million illegals or who dares suggest that Obama is, you know, a ruthless, evil, blithering idiot.
Followed by movie reviews, which are delightful.

Or during the cab ride, even. Complaining about the abortion will be a dead end, but taking a child off campus without permission might violate a handbook somewhere.

RNC needs to hammer this, releasing bullet points like the Viagra for convicts every other day or so, keeping the poison pills (so to speak) on people's radar screens.
If not, people's emotions will dwindle over time, the squishes will start to say, "This doesn't seem so bad really, what was all the fuss about?"
Media will play up the "Nasty Republicans want to take away your health care" slant. I already saw a lib editorial about how the R's are "doubling down on anger".
Some R's (my Rep for one) are already backtracking/trimming, saying they don't want to repeal, but rather leave the good parts and work productively toward possibly removing some of the provisions. Terrific negotiating, start off by giving up some of your chips before the other side can open their mouth.
Obama is already trash talking about how if the Republicans want to fight to take health care away from people, they should "bring it on".
Maybe it's just my conservative paranoia, but I'm sensing that when our side should be bringing on a little righteous anger and setting out a moral high ground, once again they're already letting the liberals frame the terms of the debate.

This totally shatters the DEMS belief that this bill will grow on the public, there is a difference Medicare and Social Security were passed with bi-partisan support this bill was not. Not only that majority of the 1000 pages of this bill is nothing but PORK piled on PORK and bribes to secure votes for this monstrosity.
Only silver lining on this bills that come November the DEMS are fraked. There are people who whould have never voted GOP in their lives are going to because this bill's passing was the final straw for them.
Democratic party is no longer the party of the common man, they are the party of bums, drug addicts, criminals, illegal aliens and child molesters.
