It's a shame: ten years ago I loved Howie Kurtz's column, and he was very even-handed and did great wrap-ups of the news.  He was especially good during the crazy 2000 election.

I think it's due to many factors (Clinton impeachment, 2000 Election, Iraq, etc.), but I think the biggest one concerns the fact that these people ain't getting any younger. They imagined taking part in crafting a new world very different from the one we live in. It kills them things haven't gone to plan. They know they won't be around to help usher in the Brave New Utopia, and they're seething over it.

I just bought a RAV4, before this all happened. And something the media is not telling you is that the Toyota's built in Japan(like mine) aren't part of the recall.
