— Ace You know what CNN has been missing in its lineup? Cutesiness.
We really need cutesiness in political coverage, of the kind that champion lightweight/professional ditz Kathleen Parker provides.
So, if you can stomach it, here are long-time john Spitzer and confirmed idiot Parker exchanging cutesy by-play with just a hint of Sam-and-Dianne sexual tension, which is oh so titillating, because you really want to think about a whoremonger getting all up on a deteriorating sorority house-mother.

But before I leave, anybody think that the Parker/Spitzer name is some sort of sexual immunendo on Client #9's part?

Kathleen's all giggly because she finds that tres kinky.

Sheesh. That clip could be made into a faux movie trailer that would be funny as hell.
narrator: "Two competitive news anchors. One talk show."
clip
"A high society gossip columnist and a streetwise shoeleather reporter."
clip
"They can hardly make it at work. Can they make it... at home!?"
music: James Brown "I Feel Good"; clips of dating travails, awkward attempted kiss, more homme and work hijinx, and finally they lean in for a true romantic kiss. clip stops there
"Tune into 'Nightly News' to find out what is going on. Coming to theaters in October."

Maybe the modern day Tracy and Hepburn is a better analogy. Their relationship had the air of forbidden fruit about it, as he was a longtime married man and she a closeted lesbian.
Posted by: kallisto at September 07, 2010 11:25 AM (+FkcS)
I can't believe either one of those two people have "fans" in the traditional sense of the word, but if they do, I'm guessing neither of their sets of "fans" is even slightly interested in seeing their hero yukking it up with the other one.
Back in the 80's there was a movie made, starring Dollie Parton and I think Sylvester Stallone. Both bankable stars at that point. The movie bombed so badly, I think even their mothers couldn't make themselves watch it. That's where I see "Park Her and Spit On Her" ending up. Is it possible for a show to have ratings lower than zero?

An Alaskan governor's daughter gets pregnant and she doesn't force her to get the baby chopped up--that is unacceptable.
A New York attorney general/governor who frequents prostitutes while sentencing others to prison for the same--now that's just good, sexy fun.

So this Parker woman thinks Sarah Palin lacks gravitas, does she? Let me ask a couple questions here:
1. Parker's sharing top billing on a show nobody watches, on a channel nobody watches, with a clap-infested has-been nobody, but she looks down on Sarah Palin... who is creating United States Senators and Representatives by fucking pointing at them, like God on the ceiling of the fucking Sistine chapel!?
2. Is it true Parker thinks "gravitas" are saggy Mexican titties?

Euphemism for a fairly common sex act. This iteration can ONLY be performed by a notorious whoremonger, spraying all over an aged sorority house-mother.
The difficulty is becoming a notorious whoremonger.
It's an almost impossible status to achieve, given current mores and manners but still doable!
Raddled, aged sorority sisters are a dime a dozen though.
