On a serious note, having been at a Brown rally yesterday what struck me was the sense that even though it's Massachusetts we don't have to always send a democrat to Washington. 

As loppyd has said there's an energy a sense of optimsim - hate to use the words hope and change ... but really something is happening here.  ... something good I hope!

tank, I started reading "Teh Real Ben Franklin" today and was just amazed at his curiosity, good humor in dealing with enemies and work ethic -- and that was the first five pages.  We need to ditch TVs and electronic toys (not teh computers!) and get back to thinking and doing again.  And he did all this in Boston BTW!

I love going to the library and requesting that they order books with a conservative bent that aren't on the shelves.  (not saying that this is one of those but in the past our local libraries seems to be low on some of the latest books by conservatives)

If brown wins, i still have my doubts as it is mass, and i am sure they can "get" votes, we should all thank David "the douchenozzle" Gergen for feeding Brown that line in the debate.

tank, go to the National Center for Constitutional Studies.  They have an unbelievable pkg deal.  It includes "The Real" Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, The 5,000 Leap and a DVD, plus a pocket Constitution.  This is a helluva deal.  It's the one Glenn Beck was promoting about a year ago.

No snow yet but it is forcasted for Monday and Tuesday. That could be a boon for SB in that some people (lol) don't like to venture out on a snowy day.

Drab and crappy ... hope and change.

I will say I took a walk in downtown Scituate today and people were smiling ... maybe it's the fact that it was in the 40s and the dirty, smelly snow from December was finally starting to melt ... or maybe people are pumped up waiting for Tuesday ... I don't know!

Not to be obsessive but coming from a family of passive/aggressive types I can't wait to go to work Tuesday ... in my brown outfit.  I work in a small office - 5 employees.  Boss is rabid (and I mean RABID) democrat.  Loves the "ideals" of the democrats - as long as they don't apply to him and because he employes fewere than 10 employees most rules don't apply to him.  For instance I wil be working on MLK day and when Christmas fall on a weekend day we don't get paid. 

Anyway... I'll be dressed head to toe in brown and know he will notice and think it's some subliminal message .. which I'll deny and the dance continues.....
