We still hit the roller coasters there since even though they're the same name, the tracks are slightly different. We went on Pirates on 2 different days and both days the line was less than 5 minutes. At Disneyland 2 days before Christmas Pirates had an hour wait.

You should go back. There's so much more to see and do. And you have to drink your way around the world at Epcot.

Once yesterday (Sat), inviting me to the rally in Worcester.

Once today (Sun), by an actual live human being who was going to encourage me to vote for Scott Brown.

Brown must have his s@$t together. . .I can't remember the last time I've gotten a call from a live human asking me to vote for someone.

The funny thing is, I don't live in MA anymore. . .have no idea how they got my number, though when I did live in MA, I was registered as a Republican.

Told the guy on the phone that I was no longer eligible to vote for Brown, but that I was watching from afar and couldn't wait for him to be elected Senator.  . .he sounded pretty pumped.

It's taken this race for me to wax nostalgic about MA, where I went to college;  I've had WRKO on via web stream much of the last week.

In 1984, I was even at John Kerry's initial victory party (saw him; spoke to Paul Tsongas)--sorry about that.  But I didn't vote in MA ever.

Very tempted to take a train up there tomorrow afternoon to just get a feel for the campaign.

From National Journal:

Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), speaking with a gaggle of reporters after the event, said that while state Sen. Scott Brown (R) offers voters a quick fix, in reality, the problems created by "George Bush and his cronies" are not so easily solved.

"If you think there's magic out there and things can be turned around overnight, then you would vote for someone who could promise you that, like Scott Brown," Kennedy said. "If you don't, if you know that it takes eight years for George Bush and his cronies to put our country into this hole ... then you know we have a lot of digging to do, but some work needs to be done and this president's in the process of doing it and we need to get Marcia Coakley to help him to do that."

(Curiously, Kennedy mentioned Coakley repeatedly during his remarks to reporters, each time referring to her as "Marcia," not "Martha.")

More Kennedy: "One thing the Democrats have done wrong? We haven't kept the focus on this disaster on the Republicans who brought it upon us. We've tried too hard to do that right thing, and that's to fix it, as opposed to spend more of our time and energy pointing the finger at who got us [here] in the first place."

This was after the President's speech ... ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. ... I think I broke a rib from laughing.

102 Apparently batchelor's entire show practically has been this election, he appears to be obsessed with it and with the non passage of the health care bill.  they are going to be discussing what James just said after this set of commercials.

I lived in MA for 12 years.

Even though I've been out of there for years,  I can't begin to tell you how thrilling it is to think that a Republican may be lifting the Senate seat that the Kennedy's have been squatting on since the 1950s.

104 tank, none of those Kennedy spawn were ever noted for their scathing intellect.  Born into any other family, they'd all very likely be flipping burgers today (no offense to those who flip burgers, which I love).

Thanks Zombie Ted - going the check that deal out now.

Weather report for MA - pouring rain here in S.E. Mass - hope it keeps up - Martha voters don't like to get wet for nothing.

Severely O/T: is the reply to "Palin Steele" on page 5 of the "Obama gets Heckled" thread at Hot Air, the same Palin Steele, follower of Captain America, that was thoroughly spanked here?

Why, yes, that's the little turd bucket.

You know it! It's a lot like seeing a mass recovery from Stockholm Syndrome. Like people just woke up one day and said, "fuck this shit"!

It's hard to say exactly why. Sure there's opposition to ObamaCare, etc., but these clowns voted for him, too.

I think a lot of it has to do with the cavalier attitude the dems have about this seat. First they flip-flopped on the law they passed to keep Romney from appointing a successor to Kerry in 2004 and put in a seat-warmer. Then Coakley began measuring for drapes after the primary without bothering to go and mingle with those disgusting creatures called constituents.

Throw in a little tea party anger and a credible opponent and that "safe seat" ain't quite so safe after all.

  Thanks.

Does anyone have a link or two to his "Captain America" fantasies, or any other of his choice drivel?

I occasionally post at Hot Air, and wouldnÂ’t mind beefing up PSÂ’s cred with the folks there.

Not to be obsessive but coming from a family of passive/aggressive types I can't wait to go to work Tuesday ... in my brown outfit.  I work in a small office - 5 employees.  Boss is rabid (and I mean RABID) democrat.  Loves the "ideals" of the democrats - as long as they don't apply to him and because he employes fewere than 10 employees most rules don't apply to him.  For instance I wil be working on MLK day and when Christmas fall on a weekend day we don't get paid.

Anyway... I'll be dressed head to toe in brown and know he will notice and think it's some subliminal message .. which I'll deny and the dance continues.....

118 Peaches:

Check the Obama Gets Heckled thread at Hot Air (the link is too long to post).

There's a post on page 5 at 9:19PM by a poster "Palin Steele". The smell is familiar.

Arbalest - a brown out - good one.  I'm told ,by my parents, that I was conceived during a brown out along the East Coast in the late 1960s.

Oversharing I know but couldn't help myself!

122 Jeez, Arbalest, it certainly could be the well-known fellater of teh inflatable girlfriend.  I don't think they've opened comments for a few months (maybe more), so he must mostly lurk.  Plus, AP got pretty jiggy with the banhammer lately, that would impose a certain restraint on our late colleague.

Yes. PS hasnÂ’t posted in 2 hours, so my guess is that heÂ’s gone. No hurry, perhaps a post by 6:00PST on a thread tomorrow. But seriously, links to his CA stuff here would be gold.

If no one has any objections (e.g., a prior claim on his jewels for a new set of earrings, etc.), then next time I see one of his posts, IÂ’ll start making Capt. America references.

Now, back on topic.

This Brown video really is electric.  I haven't seen people, with minimal organizational direction, this energized in a very long time.

I suspect many Dem power brokerss are in fetal positions, and not a few skid marks among them.

It's sad.

I'd say to that little girl that the moment we went off track and doomed her future happened a long time before she was born, and even before I was born.

This creeping socialism, starting from the New Deal, has killed us dead in our country. Europe's more virulent equivalent has already killed it, too.

This leftism has killed us. It doesn't matter if Brown wins. If he does, that only may prolong affairs.

It's over. Leftism's embrace of death guides our society, and we follow it along. Nothing can stop it. A few electoral victories might excite us one way or another, but that doesn't mean beans.

Armed insurrection may save us. But we don't have the stomach for that.

We are screwed.

Why make those actors/actress rich when they claim their not greedy.

We The People should get free relaxation.  Why do they get so rich at our expense!  If the Working Class gets minimum wage at Mickey D's they should get the same pay.! They do less work.  They spend 7/8 of a filming day either drinking coffee or siting on their asses in those motor homes!

@75

I read the same article.  The reporterette is wistling past the graveyard telling herself and the other libtards that the Democrats lost control of the House because Hillarycare didn't get passed.  Oh, and the Americans really had no interest in term limits or fiscal control.

This chick is too stupid to see the lack of logic in her argument.  If Americans were actually wanting  massive federally-controlled health care, why would they continue to allow Republicans to stay in control until 2006?    Remember when Democrats were campaigning back in 2006 and 2008 telling us that the Republicans were spending too much money?
