Open Blog/I'm... Uh, I've Got a Flu Or Something
— Ace

Seriously, they were like handing out flu in bottles last night. Or sometimes they would mix the flu with soda and ice. It was sick. Should be a law against that.

To effectively get someone elected, talk about how they'll lower the seas and how you can't eat as much as you want.

That's effective at the national level, but at the grassroots local level a better strategy is to canvass the local graveyard and obituary pages for disenfranchised voters.  Also, handing out smokes and a free ride to the homeless is a good way to garner a few extra votes.  If the vote is close, be sure to stock a backup supply of ballots in the trunk of your car.

Doing all this on your own is cumbersome, so be sure to enlist a well funded and politically connected grassroots organization like the SEIU or ACORN to assist in bussing people to the polls and to populate candidate rallies on both sides.
