— Ace Remember the guy who murdered his parents and then pleaded for mercy, on the grounds he was an orphan?
He just emailed me to say, "This is shameless."
Plans to bring what one critic calls a "monster mosque" to the site of the old Burlington Coat Factory building, at a cost expected to top $100 million, moved along for months without a peep. All of a sudden, even members of the community board that stupidly green-lighted the mosque this month are tearing their hair out.Paul Sipos, member of Community Board 1, said a mosque is a fine idea -- someplace else.
"If the Japanese decided to open a cultural center across from Pearl Harbor, that would be insensitive," Sipos told me. "If the Germans opened a Bach choral society across from Auschwitz, even after all these years, that would be an insensitive setting. I have absolutely nothing against Islam. I just think: Why there?"
Why, indeed.
A rally against the mosque is planned for June 6, D-Day, by the human-rights group Stop Islamicization of America. Executive director Pamela Geller said, "What could be more insulting and humiliating than a monster mosque in the shadow of the World Trade Center buildings that were brought down by an Islamic jihad attack? Any decent American, Muslim or otherwise, wouldn't dream of such an insult. It's a stab in the eye of America."
Called Cordoba House, the mosque and center is the brainchild of the American Society for Muslim Advancement. Executive director Daisy Khan insists it's staying put.
"For us, it's a symbol, a platform that will give voice to the silent majority of Muslims who suffer at the hands of extremists. A center will show that Muslims will be part of rebuilding lower Manhattan," said Khan, adding that Cordoba will be open to everyone.
It's a symbol for me, too, Khan. It's symbolic of how there is a lot of undeveloped space in Lower Manhattan, now had for discount prices, because a group of Muslims made a smoking crater of one of the world's most densely populated places and killed 2,996 people.
It's a symbol of the old rules of dhimmitude, whereby dhimmis' churches and buildings would be, by law, restricted to be shorter than Muslims', thereby symbolically affirming Islamic dominance. Except here, the dominance was first established by flying bomb filled with jet fuel.
In case you weren't sure of what the symbolism was intended to be, Khan's eager to remind you. The super-mosque -- the world's largest Temple of Murder -- is set to open on the ten-year anniversary of 9/11 -- September 11, 2011.
Do I believe his crap about this being a voice of moderation? No, not at all. These guys make that sort of claim all the time and then it turns out that a lot of them are actually jihadi sleeper agents. Al Alawi, for example, was supposedly "moderate" too, and anti-terrorism, until he turned into the new top Cantor of Carnage for Al Qaeda. His apologists claim he was "driven" to this (as they always do). Others say he was always Al Qaeda, but merely hiding his allegiance until activated by the great murderous cause.
So I don't believe this rotten bastard. And I don't believe it because anyone with the merest speck of regard and respect for his victims would be sensitive to the obvious symbolism of this action and refrain from it. Someone with the vaguest appreciation of the carnage unleashed that day, and the murderous impulses of many Muslims, would realize that this will soon become the most popular mosque outside of Mecca, and not for its message (supposedly) of peace and moderation.
Someone who cared for what the dhimmi thought at all would recognize this as singularly, incandescently inappropriate.
Someone truly interested in peace and moderation would not build a temple to the religion that killed 2,996, allowing jihdis to literally -- literally -- dance on the unmarked, uncollected remains of their victims.
It will become a top pilgrimage site for violent jihadists and their numberless supporters because it represents the triumph of violent Islam over the decadent West.
And if we let them build this, we are decadent indeed.
More: Pamela Gellar of Atlas Shrugs is organizing protests against this vicious insanity, and her blog is a one-stop repository for articles on the issue.
Oops: I was writing this as Drew was putting his up... Ah well, I wanted to weigh in too.
More, from Human Events:
Worse still, the design for the Ground Zero Mosque is a mockery of the World Trade Center building design. Islamic jihadists took down those buildings when they attacked and murdered 3,000 people in an act of conquest and Islamic supremacism. What better way to mark your territory than to plant a giant mosque on the still-barren land of the World Trade Center?Any decent American, Muslim or otherwise, wouldnÂ’t dream of such an insult. ItÂ’s a stab in eye of America.
Joan Brown Campbell, director of the Department of Religion at the Chautauqua
Institution in upstate New York and former general secretary of the National Council of Churches, admitted that a mosque at Ground Zero could anger infidels. But it was worth it, she said: “Building so close is owning the tragedy.”This best demonstrates the territorial nature of Islam. The very idea of building a mosque at Ground Zero is a manifestation of Islamic domination and expansionism.
The location is no accident. Just as it was no accident that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was built on top of the Temple in Jerusalem.

"We've approached the community because we want this to be an example of how we are cooperating with the members of the community, not only to provide services but also to build a new discourse on how Muslims and non-Muslims can cooperate together to push back against the voices of extremism."
Are they going to let men and women of different faiths pray there? Are they going to let men and women of different faiths be in the same room together? Just, you know, asking.

Almost two years ago, here at AoS, after Obama won in 2008 I said:
"If you told me seven years ago after 9/11 that a man with close ties to anti-American terrorists; a man close to a racist black preacher; a man with a paper-thin resumé, a man with whose father was a radical leftist muslim; a man whose half-brother lives in squalor in a third-world country; a man named Barack Hussein Obama would be the 44th president of the United States, I would've said you were crazy."
Our nation is indeed cray. And stupid. And shameful. We forgot 9/11. We have shamed the once-sacred ground of the vicious attack on Americans in New York City. And we are now waving the white flag to radical islam. For what? For multi-culti diversity claptrap.
Political Correctness will be our nation's doom.

It's called taqqiya. It is an aspect of Shari'a law and the Islamic faith that allows Muslims to lie to non-Muslims to "protect" themselves. The real issue is this: Islam is the only major, world religion that calls for the forced conversion, subjugation, or elimination of all non-believers (and, no, nothing in the OT or NT is comparable). There may be some moderate Muslims who don't wish to follow this dictate - but think about the conundrum this puts them in.
The foundation of Islam is the perfection of Muhammed. If he so ordered, it is as if Allah, himself, ordered it. To not follow the dictate is to not follow Islam. Any attempt to excise the dictate, or to "re-interpret" it, would be to declare Muhammed fallible and, thus, bring into question all of Islam.

Hey, for all the Palestinians, hows 'bout we end the occupation of Constantinople first?). He talked about how he couldn't even wear his clerical garb in public. Turkey refused to pave the street to the Patriarchate's buildings, allowing the public dumping of sewage on the street, until, in the mid-90's, Hillary Clinton made a visit and they didn't want to "tarnish Turkey's image" as a "modern" nation.

This building and all who worship there should be shunned by all New Yorkers. Anytime someone in New York boo-hoos about "Islamaphobia" it should be mentioned that Muslims flipped New York the bird with this travesty (after they killed a shitload of New Yorkers "BTW"). It should be made clear to the Muslim community that New Yorkers despise their insensitivity and the raw "we bought the land, Allahu Akbar and fuck New York" message it sends.
OK, fabled "mainstream" Muslim community there in New York - here's your chance to show you're a bona-fide good citizen and supporter of this country and your home state and city and that your religion really was "hijacked" on 9-11: STOP THIS. NOW.

When Muhammed was confronted by two followers who noticed his then-latest "revelation" contradicted an earlier one, he responded by saying that they were fools because they didn't realize that the later-in-time revelation was "more perfect" than the earlier one. Even the 9 year-old, Aisha, noted that Allah was really quick to make exceptions to his own laws whenever Muhammed's sexual gratification was concerned. (For which she later duly apologized).

We were thinking of building a museum in downtown Nanking dedicated to the love Japanese men have for Chinese women.
This is really the closest snarky example yet (I like the B29 museum in Hiroshima idea, though).
Really, what if the Japanese built a women's center in Nanking, as a way of saying "sorry."
Is that the same thing?

You do realize I was being sarcastic about the whole "restraint" thing, right? Of course, Muhammed was the same guy who waited a whole afternoon to "marry" the widowed Jewish woman who had to watch her entire tribe, including her father and husband, slaughtered in front of her to get the "Jewish treasure" Muhammed believed they had.

Hey, "Reconquista" doesn't just mean Mexico reconquering California and Texas. The term originated in the war to liberate southern Spain ("Al-Andalus") from Moorish (Muslim) rule.
And don't think that the Islamicists have ever forgotten or forgiven that. The re-establishment of Muslim dominion over Al-Andalus is almost always mentioned in their various manifestoes.

A synagogue in Mecca? How 'bout just letting non-Muslims *in* to Mecca?
bonhomme -
The first two books of the book of Mormon are in the order they're in because, after Joseph Smith got done reading the images from his seer stones at the bottom of his hat to his first major convert, that convert took the manuscript home to show his wife. The wife was the first major Mormon critic and asked to read it. Later, the convert got nervous (he really wasn't supposed to show anyone) and asked for it back. Of course, she "accidentally 'lost'" the manuscript. However, she said, can't Smith just read the same thing off the seer stones again and get it back 100%? Pretty clever, eh?
Yeah, well JS turned a trick on her. When the convert informed Smith what had happened, Smith informed the convert that God was angry for the convert showing the wife the manuscript, and so they had to move on to the next book - which would be the same as the first book, only *told from a different point of view*. Thus, it would be similar, but any discrepancies or differences could easily be explained away.
Admitting she'd been bested, the wife eventually did turn the manuscript back over to Smith.
The situations are similar because the originator for these two belief systems were caught in a troubling situation that called their "infallibility" (with Muhammed, as the perfect prophet of Allah, and with Smith, as someone who was reading off two seer stones like Obama off a teleprompter). Though, since Smith's death, there have been, literally, thousands of changes to the book of Mormon to correct not just grammatical errors but serious internal contradictions (and, not infrequently, to de-emphasize or eliminate various, troublesome - to modernist eyes - beliefs), which seem to just get passed over unnoticed by the followers of Smith.
We might actually see something of this with Muhammed - if the Germans would ever release those microfiche of the many different, extremely early, versions of the Koran that they were studying before - shoot, WWI or WWII? Can't remember. I think WWII. Yeah, pretty sure that's it - because I think the story is everyone thought they were lost in the bombing of Germany, until they were re-discovered several years back. The German academics won't release them, basically, out of fear that any changes noted in the Koran, and any subsequent criticism of Islam based on said changes, might enrage Muslims and get the scholars killed.
Mike the Moose - true, technically, but it is a belief that has found great use in both the Sunni and Shia branches (even though the Sunni scholars and imams still reject it, it is tolerated). However, I do greatly appreciate your clarification. Accuracy is necessary, good sir!
the sinner,
Patrick

Rather than focusing on terrorism as the sole method of group action, as is the case with Al-Qaeda, in perfect postmodern fashion the use of terror falls into a multiplicity of options available to progressively infiltrate, confront, and eventually establish Islamic domination over the West. The following tactics and techniques are among the many recommendations made in The Project:
Networking and coordinating actions between likeminded Islamist organizations; Avoiding open alliances with known terrorist organizations and individuals to maintain the appearance of "moderation"; Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood's collective goals; Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions, as long as it doesn't conflict with shari'a law; Avoiding social conflicts with Westerners locally, nationally or globally, that might damage the long-term ability to expand the Islamist powerbase in the West or provoke a lash back against Muslims; Establishing financial networks to fund the work of conversion of the West, including the support of full-time administrators and workers; Conducting surveillance, obtaining data, and establishing collection and data storage capabilities; Putting into place a watchdog system for monitoring Western media to warn Muslims of "international plots fomented against them"; Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing "academic" studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements; Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world; Balancing international objectives with local flexibility; Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant; Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions; Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam; Drafting Islamic constitutions, laws and policies for eventual implementation; Avoiding conflict within the Islamist movements on all levels, including the development of processes for conflict resolution; Instituting alliances with Western "progressive" organizations that share similar goals; Creating autonomous "security forces" to protect Muslims in the West; Inflaming violence and keeping Muslims living in the West "in a jihad frame of mind"; Supporting jihad movements across the Muslim world through preaching, propaganda, personnel, funding, and technical and operational support; Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims; Adopting the total liberation of Palestine from Israel and the creation of an Islamic state as a keystone in the plan for global Islamic domination; Instigating a constant campaign to incite hatred by Muslims against Jews and rejecting any discussions of conciliation or coexistence with them; Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine; Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement; Collecting sufficient funds to indefinitely perpetuate and support jihad around the world;Posted by: Tattoo De Plane at May 14, 2010 11:47 AM (HTwJd)

I don't know where you heard/read this, but I firmly believe it to be false. I'm familiar with most claims against the LDS church and if this claim had merit it would be the first bullet point on every tract and website devoted to the topic.
Usually on this topic the tone is simply that polygamy can be nothing other than powerful men taking advantage of women. I believe this argument to be flawed. Prophets of old practiced polygamy when commanded to. Abraham and Jacob both practiced polygamy. I don't believe father Abraham to be an evil lecher, and nor do I believe Joseph Smith was either.

There's one thing we can use to fight Radical Islam, and that's Mormonism.
The Mormons have this neat tradition that says anyone can be posthumously converted to their religion. That's why they have Family Research Centers all over the place -- so you can trace your family tree, convert them to the Mormon faith, and eventually they'll go to Heaven. (Sorry to any Mormons out there if I got any of that wrong.)
So let them build their supermosque; we know why they're really doing it but we lack the will to stop them. But also let the Mormons build a Family Research Center across the street to serve as a warning: Any member of the Religion of Peace who decides to not be so peaceful any more becomes LDS in a heartbeat.
(I may have said this before, but I feel uninhibited about such things today.)

It was a direct analogy. In both cases the "prophet" forgot what he had said earlier and was required to refine or replace the prior message instead of replicate it.
Polar opposites on how the followers turned out, but identical situation. Mohammad was just illiterate, whereas Smith just wanted a "witness"
Posted by: s'moron at May 14, 2010 12:19 PM (UaxA0)
Yeah, what Jean said. It was more of a methodological critique and a comparison of the troubles both techniques encountered. I have absolutely no belief, whatsoever, that Mormons are gonna start bombing innocents. (The Salamander letters issue aside! And, yeah, that's really a little more of a joke than an actual "comparison," so take it easy . . .)
bonhomme -
How 'bout the one about Joseph Smith being arrested for, and convicted of, fraud? For bilking an old man out of a bunch of money by claiming he could find buried "Indian treasure" in Indian burial mounds? His conviction was actually found in old court records.
Don't know about the one about being caught with someone's daughter. However, given the NT, his declaration of polygamy was most certainly a change to Christianity.

Patrick,
I thought the South Park episode was funny, but I don't think it's terribly accurate. You seem to be familiar with the story, but I'd ask you to read the same from a LDS perspective here.
Harris wanted to prove to his wife that he wasn't wasting his time with Smith. He pestered Smith to give him the manuscript to show to her. Smith kept praying to God to ask permission, who kept saying no, until the third time. God allowed the pages to go out, using the theft to chasten Smith. Smith was disallowed the ability to translate until he repented thoroughly.
Joseph Smith was commanded not to retranslate the 116 pages because the people who had stolen them from Martin Harris altered their copy. They were going to use the altered copy to "prove" that Smith wasn't really a prophet by pointing out the discrepancies.

What s'moron said.
Your point is not valid. A comparison regarding the actions of the followers was neither the intent nor the subject of the post. A comparison of claimed revelatory methodologies is more than appropriate - given the similarity of issues that followed said claimed methodologies.
Look, I had no intention of turning this into a "rip into Mormonism" session. However, I made one observation, someone asked me to elaborate, I did, and now those who haven't followed the thread from the beginning are taking offense and trying to dispute the point without understanding the origin of the point. Please be more careful before stepping into a conversation you clearly haven't followed from the beginning. If you had, you would have realized that the intent was in no way aimed at painting Mormonism with the same brush as Islam - the two are very, very different in the vast majority of respects.
As illustrated hereinabove, sir, it is also clear that there are similarities in some respects - if not in actual theology, in, as stated before, the claimed revelatory methodologies insofar as the issues they present.
the sinner,
Patrick

To be fair, I don't place a lot of faith in LDS versions of history (Mountain Medow Massacre, anyone? Or the sort of *down-the-memory-whole* issue regarding "God having been a man like us at one point in time"). In my *opinion*, the LDS church has a pretty well documented history of blatantly ignoring, or altering, history of the sake of their own publications or versions (and, just for the record, though I'm not saying you're accusing me of this, the whole story we're talking about was familiar to me LONG before South Park even existed). Again, the Salamander letters situation is a good example - though proven to be forgeries after the fact, the LDS church was only to eager to snatch them up, at first, which definitely gives one the right to, reasonably, speculate that the motivation was very likely "hey, these letters might just possibly be something Smith wrote/said!" This despite the fact that the contents of the letters were *clearly* outside of anything ever put forth in any document/writing of LDS leaders up to that point.
That the original manuscript was "altered" is a very contestable issue and, from what I've studied, I've seen little evidence of such a claim arising *at the time* it happened. This claim seems to be, to me, more of a story that developed later in time.
The point here is that Smith encountered an issue that should not have arisen given the claimed revelatory methodology. Smith claimed to simply be reading off the seer stones, as if off, for example, a tv screen. The idea that God would deny him the ability to simply re-read the seer stones to re-dictate the book in question requires one to believe the veracity of Smith's claim regarding the prohibition. Or, following the version you've stated, to believe that the original dictated manuscript was altered. Either way, one necessarily must presume the validity of Smith's claims. If we do not allow for skepticism regarding this point for the sake of this discussion, then we must also forbid any skepticism regarding Muhammed's claim that any seeming contradiction between revelations were merely the result of the foolishness of the hearers who didn't understand that later revelations are "more perfect."
Don't get me wrong - I grew up in a heavily Mormon town, and have a lot a respect for the decency of the vast majority of Mormons! Or, can I pull out the "I have a lot of Mormon friends" thing here? Hehehehehe . . . In all seriousness, I think I understand where you're coming from, but I most certainly have my reasons for disagreeing - reasons based on traceable, verifiable, documented evidence. I also understand the LDS version, and how this is taught within the LDS community.
I think I'd just like to leave this little thread here. I don't believe going much further, at least *in this forum,* is appropriate. I'm sure we could find a place to discuss this more fully, though!
the sinner,
Patrick

To Mindy,
Jacob had three wives at the same time: Leah, Bilhah and Zilpah. See Genesis 3:4,9.
Abram (later Abraham) was married to Sarai (later Sarah) and Hagar at the same time. See Genesis 16:1-3.
The Bible doesn't specifically say that these men were commanded to take multiple wives, but Abraham was a righteous man. He would not have done a major unrighteous thing like be a polygamist without commandment. Unrighteous men do not get praised like this: Romans 4:13, "It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith."

You have to slaughter them on the ground before any constrution starts and let the blood work it's way into the ground....and dead gutted pigs on the ground will put a knot in their turbans which is a plus and will be fun to watch.

Please, help me see if there is anything wrong with building this mosque, since I can't understand why it would be. That's why I've been asking the same questions through out the whole thread.
I still doubt your seriousness in asking this. You can demonstrate it by accepting the onus for answering the inverse of your own question.
You see, site selection is never an accident. "Location" is the only word people insist on saying three times in a row; I'm sure you've heard people say that. Even crappy stores like Dollar General have specific criteria for the placement of their stores -- which towns to locate them in, where in these towns, and on which side of the street.
So, are you saying that this congregation of Muslims is unique in that the venue for its mosque was selected randomly or accidentally? If not, then why is it such a good idea for them to put the mosque right there?
(Or you can demonstrate that you're an unoriginal troll by asking your same question yet again. Really, you're starting to bore me.)

Posted by: s'moron at May 14, 2010 01:39 PM (UaxA0)
I'll try to avoid the path you've taken and keep this as civil as possible.
First - yeah, I may very well know more about the history and beliefs of Mormonism than some Mormons. I know this to be true - I've met many who didn't know many things about their own faith (of course, these types exist in EVERY religious tradition) and, especially, didn't know much about the *history* of their own faith outside of what was told to them by LDS church elders. Things like Smith being arrested for and convicted of fraud, the aforementioned Mountain Meadow Massacre, etc.
Second - you've got the quote wrong. It should read "Arrogance, thy name is Patrick." Which very well could lead one to make some claims about your own arrogance and lack of intelligence . . .
Third - for someone who makes a sarcastic comment ("by all means, please do") your evident distaste for the discussion at hand sure hasn't stopped you from putting in your half-cent's worth now, has it?
Please, if you can't offer something intelligent and applicable, or even just applicable, to the discussion, just stay out of it.

That was deliberate, but you have obviously missed my point. Perhaps "troll, they name is Patrick" would be more accurate. Make what ever claims you like, you'll be wrong,

According to a Muslim woman (name I don't remember but I have seen her before as an anti-Islamic terror Iranian) the father of the guy starting this building is a long-time member of the Muslim Brotherhood, the oldest jihadist and terror group in the Middle East. She was on Fox.
The Moslem spokesperson on opposite her didn't deny this. He just said that "the sins of the fathers shouldn't fall on the sons." That is crap, because those families either all believe the same or dissenters are whacked.
This is a big "HAHAHA" for the Muslim world. Don't think that they don't pay attention to stuff like this. They do, and they gloat over stuff like this.
Plus, I don't want a large gathering of these people anywhere in the USA, let alone New York. They use the freedom of religion clause to hide their activities, which often include plans for further terror acts.
Personally, I would like them driven out of this country. I am no longer very tolerant.

@197: "Upon further reflection, New Yorkers' acceptance of this is not sad. It is positively creepy."
More like high comedy. As Mark Steyn said in his book, America Alone, the West has been desperately searching for someone, *anyone* to surrender to, and Islam decided "Why not us?"
Put another way, one historian described the battle between Japanese kamikazes and US sailors off Okinawa as "Gunners who fought to live against pilots who fought to die"
The war between Islam and the West is between "A civilization wanting to die against a civilization fighting to die."

Her name is Brigitte Gabriel.
"The imam who is basically spearheading this, is his father came out of Muslim Brotherhood, the oldest terrorist organization in the world. He was with the Muslim Brotherhood with Ayman al-Zawahiri, the second man of Al Qaeda."

I call "Orientalist Fallacy" on mpur. mpur, thy name is Edward Said.
Someone who researches a faith from outside it often, in fact always has a better handle on it than one who is emotionally invested in it.
Sorry, mpur; I like your posts in general, but you have FAILed this thread.

I disagree. I have a unique perspective of being outside the faith while also having knowledge of what occurs within the faith.
Which is neither here nor there, my issue was the gratuitous introduction of Mormonism into a thread which had nothing to do with Mormonism. As far as the revelatory methods, I pointed out several times that you can draw those conclusions from any religion on the planet, yet it seems that mocking the Mormons is always the default position.. Further, all of the arguments made and the examples cited were lifted straight from a number of Internet sites, easily found through Google, and mostly dedicated to tearing down Mormonism at every turn.
And finally, the pseudo-intellectual presentation of tired, worn out arguments is what really pisses me off. "You can't dispute what I say because I'm far superior to you intellectually as evidenced by my pretentious writing style." And if you do challenge me I will a) insult your intelligence; and, b) prop up my plagiarized arguments with a personal example of how I "know" or "lived with" [insert subject matter here].
Call it a fail if you will. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

Those other examples are OK, but I'm not sure that a Bach society next to Auschwitz would be insensitive. Bach had nothing to do with the Holocaust, and Jews were not murdered in the name of Bach.
Muslims, however, are just the type to pull this kind of shit. The Swiss got it right.

What an outrage that a memorial to the Sep 11 terrorists is built faster than a memorial to their victims.
What's wrong with this picture?

Where do I start? Does anyone remember how they felt to watch this travesti over and over again on 9/11? I do but obviously alot of people have forgot. Remember when the news channels watched and televised people falling from the air and fire flowing from the towers and then one tower after the next fell. They fell with loved one's and hero's that won't have the chance to be there when the're needed again. My sorrows went out to the families and each of you know that your hearts broke that day. So with that being in your mind do you really believe that anything good could come of this mosque. In 1775 we as a country announced our independence from the red coats, don't tread on me was their slogan and, we went to war all men took up arms and, drew a line in the sand and, we fought. What did we fight for? I believe that we fought to be a country of pride and freedom but in todays world that is lost. Lost in the over rule of political dimwits who instead of recoginizing a white glove being slapped across our faces they seem to see $$$ and believe this is an act of remorse. HAHAHA. Where is the line drawn between church and state again? In the muslim culture isn't that where most the plans and recuitment of soldiers to carrier out the devilish deeds at hand. I believe we did the same to get militia men to fight the red coats and again in the civil war (both sides). My running on has gotten the best of me. On a parting note well more like a few questions.
1) If your were going to take down a country with less advanced weapons would you do it from inside or out?
2) How many mosque are in the United States alone and how many loyalist are there here?
3) When is the best time to attack a country at war when our force a focused in a different country fighting the same war?
Good question to roll around and now ask yourself is this for real. Very real maybe thank God for those who still carry side arm on their hips. God bless American tis the land of liberty.
