— Maetenloch The Taiwanese News Animated Take on Sarah Palin
You've enjoyed their work covering Al Gore's attempted chakra release. Well here's their take on Sarah Palin's possible run for the presidency in 20102012. I believe they also took a few liberties with the details since I don't recall any parachuting or Obama mud wrestling incidents. And yeah it's meant to be a slam on Palin but it ends up unintentionally being teh awesome.
Meanwhile in other Palin news there are reports that Kate Gosselin and her 31 kids will go camping with Sarah and be taught about nature by her dad.
The Dying of Democracy in Britain
So Britain's new coalition government launched a website asking people to nominate some of the "intrusive and unnecessary" laws imposed during the Blair-Brown years for repeal. And the site was soon overwhelmed with requests to repeal the smoking ban. But the administrators were unhappy with this so they went to extreme measures to hide any smoking requests. Yet in spite of this votes for repeal of the smoking ban outnumbered all others. But Deputy PM Nick Clegg was having none of it:
Of course there are other suggestions which aren't going to be taken up by this government . . . the introduction of the death penalty or changing the smoking ban; but at least the debate is now really alive.Never mind that the death penalty like the smoking ban repeal is favored by a majority of Britons - the new bosses like the old bosses know better.
Did Mel Threaten To Kneecap Rahm Emmanuel's Brother?
Well it was a little unclear which Jew he was targeting when he announced that “I want Jew blood on my hands.” But supposedly he wanted a certain powerful, Jewish Hollywood figure's kneecaps busted because he thought it they had humiliated him. It's speculated that he was referring to either Ari Emanuel or Harvey Levin.

One Upside To The Fiscal Strangling by Public Employee Unions
Is that it's starving the liberal agenda:
"San Francisco is the most progressive, pro-union, you know, lefty, and I'm probably the poster boy for that in many ways. But the reality is, if we don't do something, all of the important programs, not only public defense but we're talking about children's programs, after-school programs, education, senior programs, everything that we care about as progressives is going to be lost because it's being sucked up by the cost of pensions."So if they don't manage to raise taxes, expect to see some red-on-red action.
Wired: 5 Reasons Why Green Tech Has Such a Tough Time in America
Okay one or two of the 5 reasons might play a slight role in why 'green' technology hasn't taken off. But they leave out the 5,000,000lb gorilla in the compost heap: Green technology is just not cost effective compared with existing technology. If it were, US companies would have jumped on it long ago. But it ain't. Existing green tech (which of course always somehow excludes nuclear power) tends to be expensive, not scalable, unreliable, or just a relatively poor investment of money. Until this changes, we're stuck with what we have and no amount of hippie tears will change that.

When asked to rate the qualities they admire most, women often claim to value honesty above all else. This is, of course, rather ironic since honesty is the trait they least tolerate in men.So here's guide to female (and male) code talk.

How A 17-Year-Old Craigslist-Swapped An Old Phone For A Porsche
He started off with an old cell phone someone gave him and two years and fourteen trades later was the owner of a 2000 Porsche Boxster S. According to him the key was to be constantly searching on Craigslist and always trading up. Well except for the last trade where he traded down from a $15K Ford Bronco to a $9K Porsche.

Romantic Comedies Are Ruining Your Relationships
So a poll of 1,000 Australians found that almost half said rom-coms with their inevitable happy endings have ruined their view of an ideal relationship.
One in four Australians said they were now expected to know what their partner was thinking while one in five respondents said it made their partners expect gifts and flowers 'just because'. You know if women watched less RomComs and more Lifetime women-in-peril movies, they'd be much happier about their relationships.
World's Most Powerful Beer to be Sold in Squirrels
So a Scottish brewery, BrewDog, has come out with a 110 proof beer. It was made from a blond Belgian ale, infused with nettles and juniper berries, and concentrated by repeatedly chilling it to separate out water from the solution. Best of all The End Of History ale will be served in bottles within seven dead stoats, four squirrels and one hare. All of which were done by a taxidermist using road kill. Predictably all the right people are outraged. And a bottle of this awesomeness can be yours for just $772. Stoats, beer, taxidermy and Britain - this story seems perfectly crafted for a certain blogger. (thanks to CDR M)
''This is the beer to end all beers. It's an audacious blend of eccentricity, artistry and rebellion; changing the general perception of beer, one stuffed animal at a time.

Meanwhile it turns out that Pabst Blue Ribbon is being sold for $44 a bottle in China. Just wait until the hipsters find out. (thanks to Dunkirk)
The $1850 Sports Bra?
Apparently so. The Trenta by BodyRock Sport is made of spandex and comes with bling - a detachable sterling silver charm bracelet and necklace fastened to the front of the bra and a black diamond Swarovski Crystal neckline. It all seems rather extravagant - for the same price a guy could have gotten a PS3, a bottle of End of the World ale, some nice cigars, and a chakra release.

A progressive cowboy and a conservative cowboy are out checking fence when they come upon a sheep with its head stuck in the wire. The conservative cowboy thinks about how its been a long time since he's been with a woman, and decides to take advantage of the situation and have his way with the sheep.
When he finishes he asks the progressive cowboy, "don't you want some of this?".
The progressive cowboy thinks about it for a minute, says "what the hell, why not", jumps down off his horse, walks over beside the sheep, and sticks his head in the fence.

North Korea said it would counter U.S. and South Korean joint naval exercises with “nuclear deterrence” after the Obama administration said the government in Pyongyang shouldn’t take any provocative steps.
North Korea will “legitimately counter with their powerful nuclear deterrence the largest-ever nuclear war exercises to be staged by the U.S. and the South Korean puppet forces,” the National Defense Commission said, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

Oksana Grigorieva says she told authorities that Mel Gibson made a hate-filled death threat toward a Jewish Hollywood figure who allegedly "humiliated him," Radar Online reported Friday — and TMZ chimed in with word that the allegedly endangered Hollywood figure cited in the story was none other than that website's chief, Harvey Levin, and that it had determined the story to be false.
TMZ reports that Grigorieva rep Steve Jaffe "spoon-fed" them the same story earlier this week, saying Oksana said Gibson told her he wanted the "blood of Jews" on his hands and that she'd reported it to the Sheriff's Department. TMZ says it checked out details of the story and they didn't wash. On Friday, Radar reported the "exclusive" story as the actor wanting "Jew blood" on his hands.
Levin says nobody ever warned him of a death threat, and the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told his website they never received any information of the sort.

Knocked Up still isn't a rom-com. Way too many cock jokes. The real problem is when you run into a movie like The Awful Truth, which has a sprinkling of cock jokes and (spoiler alert) Gerard Butler still gets Katherine Heigl. I was in danger of having my whole worldview torn asunder.

Wired: 5 Reasons Why Green Tech Has Such a Tough Time in America
1) Most of them don't work very well.
2) They all cost too much.
3) They forget to call the ones that do work and are cheap "green," we call them "conventional" instead, because if they work and are cheap we actually use them.
4) Most of the people who push them don't understand economics (or science).
5) Most of the people who push them are insufferable jerks.

On TMC they said Animal House is the highest grossing comedy of all time. A couple years ago I read a book called "The Real Animal House", written by the real-life inspiration for Pinto (Tom Hulce's character). Almost ruined the movie for me. It was much, much darker. Half of the guys died from alcoholism at a young age.
Well, that was cheery. Carry on.

One of the interesting effects of the modern world is that you can consume only the media that you want to.
In a vacuum like that I can see why rom-coms are fairly disorienting. The men in them are not in any way realistic, and their actions would often lead not to winning a girl's heart - but going to prison.

Britain seems to be an advanced case of what we have in America. You vote for the Democrats, you get more government controlling your life. You vote for the Republicans, you get a smaller increase of government controlling your life.
It would appear that the Europeans are quite happy with notion of nominal representation. The tipping point for us will be coming soon too.

I enjoyed From Paris With Love. It's a mindless action flick and it's from the same fellow who directed "Taken"- not as good and far more over the top (John Travolta trying to fire an AT-4-looking rocket launcher while hanging from the side of a car speeding down the highway at 60 MPH, etc), but I had a fun time. I know that most of the critics didn't like it, but I thought it was plenty of fun.

I always thought Oldman was awesome. He seems to be one of the few actors who can actually play different characters. I swear, I didn't figure out he was Comm. Gordon 'til halfway through Batman when his face or voice did a particular something that hit me with recognition and that's when I knew.

But, I shall leave the morons with this, I am currently dressed in a black lace tank top which is topped with what could be politely termed a negligee but apparently you can also wear it as a dress. Another double standard is if a chick cheats on you, she only did it because she felt lonely and needed attention. As if it were your fault she blew that guy.
And, God forbid you ever fuck her sister. You'll never hear the end of that one.
By the way, "Pretty Woman" was a decent little chick flick. "Terms of Endearment" would be my favorite, though.

1) Women like Oldman. I see them raving all over. I do not pretend to understand.
2) Liked him as Gordon, though I don't recall much development in the (minor) character. I'm just not convinced by him as a villain. He's always been a bit of a mustache-twirler.
I keep forgetting to watch Lucky Number Slevin - I want to see Freeman as a villain, to see if anything's different.
Darnit, I said earlier today I wouldn't complain about Freeman's mono-character, and I've already broken my promise.

"Liberalism" and "totalitarianism"?
The book is "The Dark Side of the Left: Illiberal Egalitarianism in America."
The short version is:
- A movement arises to address some injustice of inequality (slavery, sexism, or such).
- The movement members preach equality and justice to the world, believing that the obvious rightness of their cause will make the world change.
- The world doesn't change.
- The movement turns to violence to force the world to change, believing that the ends justify the means.
- Some members of the movement express doubts about the change in tactics.
- The doubters are denounced as splitters and ejected from the movement or even killed.
- The purified movement becomes totalitarian: dissent is not tolerated.
- Totalitarianism, coupled with the lingering belief that the movement is acting for some greater good, leads to corruption: movement leaders can take whatever they want in the name of the cause, and movement followers must give everything or be branded dissenters and punished.

So the panic is due to thoughts that the deal might fall through somehow and you'll get her back for a few more years?
No, he's very stable and I don't worry about that. The stress is due to the fact that daughter wants a typical wedding (dress, cake, flowers, etc) and daddy doesn't see why her encore wedding can't be a practical affair with a Justice of the Peace and a dress she can wear again.

Oh, what am I saying? This is President Obama we're talking about -- we'll be lucky if he can muster a strongly-worded letter of protest from the UN as retaliation for a Nork nuke attack. Shame about Seoul, though.

In short, per square mile of "range" for your technology, be it a "green" power generation source or a new cellular phone technology, you may have half the potential subscribers per square mile in the United States than anywhere else in the world with comparable wealth. All the subsidies in the world won't overcome the sheer amount of equipment you would have to install in a given American metropolitan area to get the coverage the subscribers to your technology would expect. All with fewer subscribers per unit of equipment.
Just not profitable in many cases.

Ack! Claude Rains. Isn't he the one who famously lit the two cigs at once (for Bette Davis?) in Now Voyager (or some other title?). I have a relatively clear picture in my head, somewhat softened by massive quantities of cowboy coolaid and commitment-phobia (did the deal for the new apt. today, no turning back, ack).

Although that movie does indeed have two guys bonding over tragic circumstances a true bromance movie has to have guns, explosions, aliens, wild animals, psychotic Germans or East Europeans or South American cartel members, knives, blow (both the drug and the hooker kind) and lots of skimpy women walking around in tight outfits willing to have sex with you even though you're middle aged and fat.

Many years ago, I went with a number of kids from my dorm and saw what is probably the numero uno chick flick of all time, the execrable "Love Story". I laughed through the whole thing while they were all crying away like faucets, and several of the girls never spoke to me again.
There's a great ol Charles Addams cartoon from the 40s where Uncle Fester is sitting in a movie theater and everybody in the theater is watching the movie and crying, while Fester is sittting there, laughing his ass off. It was just like that.

Ahhh, yes, Love Story. Not sure if you know this or not, but that is based on Al and Tipper's epic romance. Of course the Draconian MMMA censorship at the time required that footage of double headed dildos, strap-ons, piss play and shitting on glass coffee tables required much editing, but you get the picture.

One of the things that perplexes me is what moderate is supposed to mean to these people.
If, for example, you what at moderate was politically in 2004, or 1994, or heck 1984, it would mean rolling back pretty much all of what Obama has done, and some of what Bush did. And yet apparently it means preserving and expanding a lot of it.
Its almost like these people have no principles...

Hello All,
The boat is tied up and we are hooking up the shore power as I type this.
This will be my last email to the office. I am moving to greener pastures. I have tried to convey my concerns about this vessels poor condition and also have tried to make things work out for all of us.
[redacted], Since you feel you can come down to the vessel and threaten the capt/mate/engineer and basicaly run your mouth in a smart ass manner I will say to you (piss Off) I can not beleave that you would have such small regaurd for the men that worked on this vessel hard and long to try to get her going.
[Redacted], I called you when we arrived and wanted to speak to you directly about the problems we have been dealing with. I did not receave anything back from you and am sure you are avoiding facing up to the problems you yourself have created for the vessel. If you do not understand what problems I am refering to then all I can do is shake my head and say goodluck.
This guy was full of himself, and I've been trying to tell everyone he's not on our team, but they all bought into his hype. Well, he just outed himself.

That never, ever happens. A long time ago, when PowerLine still had their excellent forum, some douchenozzle posted a high dudgeon about how he was never going back to the HQ because they'd had a bleg and he'd hit it and Ace never said thank you. I thought it was douchebaggy of the whiner, but it wouldn't hurt him to at least acknowledge. Nobody's looking for a grovel here. This used to be a collegial, friendly place. People became genuine friends. Out in Connecticut, people flew in from all around the country to see their friends.
it has become increasingly an angry, nasty place, and i"m just about done putting up with that.
If you are someone who is habitually angry and running down other commenters (and me), then I have bad news for you: There is an LGF like purge coming. And it's not ideological -- it is PERSONAL. It is about people who are good commenters and play well for others and INCREASE the value of this site, versus asshole rage-machines who do nothing but scream and talk darkly of revolution.
People, in short, who drive other people away, and make the site less attractive due to its unrelentingly unfriendly tone.
So, you know, if you want to stick around, start watching for general tone.
I was struck by how many people in connecticut just don't post at my site anymore because of the relentless hostility and anger.
And seriously? Everyone's pissed off about Obama; there is no reason to be a pill about it, or worse yet, an asshole.
This used to be a friendly place. It's going to be that way again, so start adjusting the tone.

But if it's gotten worse than Painful Stool and Honest Clot and all those fuckin' goofballs, I would be very surprised.
And, you know what? Ace is actually flesh and blood just like the rest of us. He's not fur through-and-through. He's got stresses and issues just like everybody. And it's his sandbox. If he wants to piss in it once in a while, he's got every right. Y'all think you're shareholders or something, just because we're all so emotionally invested. But we're not. We are here at his pleasure and I will always, regardless of who's having a bad day, stand up for Ace's unalienable right to do whatever the fuck he pleases right here in his house. And even if it raises my eyebrows, I remain grateful to him for providing the venue.

Well, I wouldn't actually say it is an innocent mistake on the left's part. They don't actually want what they say they want, publicly. Heck, look at Journolist, not only on the pathetic particulars that have been leaking out, but the very idea.
I have no doubt that if you asked Altermann or the other clowns two months ago if the leading lights in the media should have a private chat to synchronize their public statements that was excluded from any independent viewing they would have said no, and some thing about the VRWC...

987 18-1,
That is where a lot of the cognitive dissonance between the audience here comes in.
There is a portion of the readership that takes them at their face value, and another portion that takes their best analysis and worst fears of what the left is capable of and then the majority who just want more Valu-Rite and mad dog 2020 popsicles....
very volatile mix of audience at times.
I am firmly between MD2020 sticks and "they're monsters on the left"

What? Would you rather I say that allegations of racism were being thrown around, & that it there was fighting about whether the South was still as racist as purported in some history books? Or that at least one person said they never wanted to talk to another again, & that the other said it was fine by them?

If my dad had been murdered, I'd have been a hell of a lot more proactive to get on it.
I lived in Meridian, Mississippi, and the leader of the KKK group that murdered those three kids up in Neshoba County worked in a car lot in Meridian. The KKK there was the last active group and they even bombed the Herew School in my old synangogue (luckily, it was at night so no kids were hurt).
Everybody knew that this guy did it, but he had been let off by a really nasty local jury back in the 60's. eventually, in the 1990's, he got nailed for it, and he went to Parchman.

Well I wouldn't say it hasn't changed - there's been a lot more free-floating anger and general twitchiness since Obama was elected. Which is understandable but not necessarily a good thing for attracting new commenters.
Having blogged here for almost a year let me point out a few things I've found to be true about blogging in general:
1. It's a lot of work. Sure it starts off easy and fun but it soon becomes work to keep producing new material on a daily basis. Which is why most bloggers quit after a few months. But Ace has been doing this for almost 7 years.
2. You don't get much positive feedback. The mathematics of blog readership are that you can write an awesome post and if 1000 people read it, maybe 950 of them like it, and of them maybe 20 to 50 will actually leave a comment and say anything positive. But the 50 who didn't like it will definitely leave many vocal negative comments and send angry emails. So what happens is that in general for any post you do, you end up getting more negative feedback than positive. Over time this just wears you down and makes it very tempting to say fuck it and stop blogging.
3. And no matter how much work you do or how committed you are, there's always someone who thinks they're more committed and could do it better. But instead of getting off their butts and you know, actually doing something, they seem to spend most of their time bitching about what you did or didn't do. And after a while it gets fucking annoying. Ace has been doing this for 7 years and is out there posting every day and yet certain people are always accusing him of being a RINO sellout liberty-non-loving unpatriotic super-pussy. It's insulting and eventually puts you in a fucking bad mood. And I think that's where Ace is coming from these days.

I have one of those distinct "where were you moments" for this incident. The school where it happened is only about 5 miles from my house. I remember hearing about it the day I got to Disney World. We turned the TV on in the hotel room and that was the first thing on the new channels.

1140, 1142.....
yes anti-semites brag about it now....far different than my youth.....
and TJ the danger of the Klan in most of my lifetime (I was born in '72) was never overt violence but their rhetoric....since the media and the NAACP and Jesse and Al types go into tortoise shield wall mode from 300 anytime there is violence the KKK winds up causing physical harm to whoever is near when "militants overreact" to words....
they need broken up and jailed for whatever they can be charged with but I pray I get to see the race card lose its potency through genuine progress and the death of the histrionic "I have genetic angst" mindset

I don't get why you're trying to stir up shit here. You're getting free ice cream from the blog everyday. If you're unhappy with it, there are many other fine conservative blogs that also provide free ice cream.
It's the daily personal insults from commenters that make Ace pissy. And really what human being wouldn't get annoyed when their conservative bonafides, honesty and general competence are questioned on a daily basis. Your above comment is an example of this.

I don't know the details, but it sounded like some stalker chick was trying to blackmail or extort ace some how (really don't know if that's accurate or not). Ace put up a post warning her he was writing the post of all posts and that it would be posted any second, that she didn't leave him any choice, yada yada yada.... and then, bam, any mention of it was zapped from all of history.
He never said a word about it afterward and I felt totally dirty, 'cause he clearly used us as leverage without our permission and then didn't deliver.

Yeah, I can see how it seemed that way from the outside. Trust me it was real and serious. If you've known anyone who had an actual stalker, you learn how scary it can get. About all you can do is take precautions and try starve the stalker of any attention or recognition until they lose interest. Which is probably why Ace has never commented on the situation.

What maet said about positive / negative feedback doesn't get said enough. Of course people are reluctant to give a boring affirmative, but if the alternative runs down our best site providers with bitching and moaning...

The reason we closed the party invites down was because Ace was coming, and he has a crazy bitch stalker in nearby NYC and I didn't want her to catch wind of where and when the party was going to be.
I am not afraid of ANY of you, I have never had a problem doing open invitations to all my parties until this ONE party. Jesus Tapdancing Christ.
And I did NOT 'take your money and then throw a party.' I don't get paid to do anything here, I footed some costs of the party myself and the guests took care of the rest of their own shit. I didn't get one dime from Ace to do anything.
Seriously people.

1262 Laura,
I was not accusing you of anything...I think the prevailing view is Blazer was in his cups.

You will find no other site on the web where the the main blogger and the cob-bloggers smile in your face and yet hold you in contempt and laugh at you behind your back at the same time.
Blazer, you and I have always gotten along, as far as I remember.
1) You were out of your fucking tree last night.
2) The commenters here are NOT the reason we closed the party invites down. Every party previous to this, I have open invites and have met lots of the local Morons and lurkers and would LOVE to have met more of you. ALWAYS. It just couldn't happen this time.
3) You have a lot of FUCKING NERVE putting words in my mouth, presuming I'm a fucking freeloader to the subscribers on this blog, or ascribing elitist asshole motives to me that are not there.
4) I have EVERY FUCKING RIGHT to have a private party if I so wish (even though as I told you, that was not my wish, but even if it was, just so you know: fuck you).
5) I have EVERY FUCKING RIGHT to hang out at another blog with the AOS oldtimers. It's not an elitist thing, it's that I've known these people for seven years, we've met and become close friends. I guess it's easy to get cloistered that way. Just because you hang here at the ONT, that's no knock against people elsewhere that you don't even know. I mean, what the fuck, Blazer? I don't actually have a goddamn exclusive contract with this blog, you know.
I don't know what conversation you had with Ace that precipitated this. I don't give a shit. You want to know things about me? Just email me and ask, don't spread false gossip and presume things that are utter bullshit about me on a public site.

The weird thing is, of all the posters here, Dave and I are the only ones who frequent that other site. And I don't talk shit about Morons (??? I love my sweet Morons!), and I don't recall Dave doing it either.
I don't know what was said to Ace at the meetup about the comments threads here. I infer from some content here that Ace was told there was too much adversarial fighting going on among friendlies. Nothing wrong with wanting people to hesitate before they tear a compatriot a new one. That behavior deters others from wanting to really converse on a subject. It's a bad tone for bringing in more fun smart people.
Of course, there's a nicer way to get that across to a ravening pack of Morons than to threaten to bring down the banhammer. I can see how people got their noses out of joint there.
There's actually quite a few Ace spinoff sites where people from here do their social shit, while still reading Ace regularly. But Blazer has had a bug up his ass about that one particular spinoff site for some time, IIRC. My guess is that he read some talk about the party and got jealous. Because he sounds like a jilted bitch, and he made up vicious untrue insinuations out of a well of malice, just like a jilted bitch does.
Blazer: I'm seeing other people. Eat my taint.

If memory serves, Blazer was a jackass over at the Hostages too and they kicked him out of the pool.
Mystery solved.
Sorry mom didn't hug you enough Blazer.
Really.
Here's Blazer interacting and not being a general douchebag over at that COMMENTER HATER SITE, back in October of 2009.
I'd look for the thread where he started pitching a bitchfit and they got tired of him but I don't feel like it.
I'm not at all surprised that many of you already saw through his mangina fit, and of course others could not because he kept it secrety.
He

Yea right Dave, BiW didn't have a thing to do with that. Not a thing. You guys are soooooo friendly and accepting of newcomers over there.

It's not really you guys. After a week plus of the Sherrod shit and seeing a good deal of the commenters here getting called stupid and retarded by a few of the bloggers I guess I just blew my lid although I kept it pretty cool on those threads.ace himself was the one who mentioned the Ct part where he said the morons there were put off by what goes on over here as if they have better standing and their opinions matter more than ours, other than that I could care less what goes on there or in someones backyard or house.
It's just at times I get the impression some of the masthead here hold the morons in contempt and low regard, especially us newer ones who haven't been around pre-2006 or earlier. To me that came shining through with ace and Drew's comments this past week and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Yea, I'll be the first one to admit the ONT is my downfall. Alcohol and attitude gets the best of me sometimes so for what its worth, I apologize. Guess what I need is a vacation from the ONT for an extended period of time and maybe even a sabbatical from the blog itself maybe until after the mid-terms. At any rate, thanks for putting up with my shit, it gives me a release and keeps me from blowing my top in the real world.

It's hardly my fault he doesn't think you're hot Blazer.
Does it still sting a little?
Posted by: Dave in Texas at July 24, 2010 04:20 PM (Wh0W+)
Yea, but don't worry, I'll put some peroxide on it.
Posted by: Blazer at July 24, 2010 12:22 PM (t72+4)
Peroxide dries shit out, careful there.
Also your apology is noteworthy, thanks. I withdraw my shitty comments toward you. Ok?
Posted by: Dave in Texas at July 24, 2010 12:29 PM (Wh0W+)
Apology accepted, I guess we've all been there. I guess I kind of flipped my lid overly much too when I perceived an attack on my friends, who are really good people, BTW.
If they can accept a socially retarded dorkette such as myself, they are not elitists by any stretch of the imagination.
There was no need for me to get that nasty with you and I apologize too. But first, you will blow me.

Not only that, but it can turn you into a zombie, no shit, I just Googled it.
Thanks. If you see lauraw around, tell her I said sorry too. Also tell her she gets a hump buffing and waxing free of charge if we ever meet.

Like I said, it was what ace said. I should have just let it go, but for some reason it was chewing at my innards........that or the Jim Beam, I'm not really sure. I'm sorry for bringing it up and being such a tool last night, its hot as shit and I've had a lot of anger built up lately and you guys didn't deserve to have it directed at you.
At any rate you guys are really good people, here and over at the other place and I have really enjoyed your company and insights over the past few years. This may sound cheesy I know, but I really consider a lot of you guys almost like a family although I have never met you and I hold your opinions in high regard.
