— Gabriel Malor The first poll to include all the minor contenders shows that the little guys aren't having much impact in the race between Sharron Angle and Harry Reid.
They're tied with 43 percent of the vote, even when the other minor party or non-party candidates are included. There was some concern that sham "Tea Party" candidate Scott Ashjian would siphon votes from Angle, but he's only getting 1 percent. Ashjian gets to use the Tea Party name because he registered it first, though he's not really part of the Tea Party movement.
On momentum watch, it doesn't look like there's much momentum (the last polls also have them tied or within the margin) until you get into the fine print. Angle wins 51 percent of independents, while Reid only get's 31 percent. Two weeks ago she was only ahead by 9 points among independents.
Update 9:48AM: The commenters reminded me that LVRJ sells their content to that little outfit suing everyone, so I've re-written the post. It had completely skipped my mind.

Well if the race is tied 43-43, i would think that 1% is huge.
My thoughts exactly. If the race is that close, every small percentage counts.

Of course not, just commenting on the situation on the ground. There's also 8% undecided. If she can get enough of them, she'll win (assuming this poll is accurate).

list of Righthaven's victims (so far) is here: http://righthavenvictims.blogspot.com.
As I recall, in one of the suits the blogger had quoted just four sentences out of an eighteen paragraph article. They don't care about fair use. The idea is that fair use usually requires a trial, and bloggers are better off settling than spending $100,000 on vindicating themselves. Quite a few bloggers now refuse to even link to the LVJR.

All that legal shit can backfire bigtime. Harley-Davidson started sueing everyone for copyright infringement to the point of trying to copyright the sound of a V-twin engine, which everyone was building. I believe it was Cycle World that said it was too bad that Harley-Davidson the motorcycle wasn't half as fast and reliable as Harley-Davidson the legal department. That sort of backed them down a notch.

WASHINGTON — With the midterm elections less than six weeks away, President Obama and the Democratic Party are suffering from a lack of voter optimism, according to a new Voter Confidence Index created by NBC News and msnbc.com.
Currently, the VCI shows Obama and the Democratic Party in negative territory, with a -38 VCI average for the month of September.
ThatÂ’s eight points worse than where President Clinton and the Democrats stood in 1994, when Democrats lost 54 seats in the House and eight in the Senate. Does that mean Democrats are doomed to repeat 1994? Not necessarily. There were mitigating structural factors in 1994, including more Democratic retirements and an environment that seemed to sneak up on longtime incumbents. Neither is the case this year.
NBC: All of the data shows the Dems will get their asses handed to them and our spin is Nope it's not really that bad

Start chomping on that chapeau, dude.
The real criminals in this case -- including the Mohammedan Mouthpiece and Eric Shabazz Holder -- will skate. So will their lower-level co-conspirators.
After all, Coates is a white man, and therefore racially predisposed to hate all minorities. He is, by birth, a racist.. His testimony will be discounted, and every tiny mistake he has ever made will be front-page news in the NY Slimes.
Coates's testimony should be enough to start an investigation that would necessarily lead to impeachment proceedings. After all, who is responsible for Holder and all the race-baiters installed at the Department of Justice For Some since January 20, 2009?
Osama Obama, that's who.
But it won't happen. Dead black people have more voting rights that live white people now. And a toothless "investigating" body means nothing.

For this to gain traction, it must be shouted from the rooftops. The MFM won't look at it. We can only hope that the so-called conservative media -- Rash Fatblob, Levin, Ingraham, even Fucks News (if they can get away from babbling about day-old car chases and Moo-chelle's campaign appearances for even a minute) have to go full-Monty on this.
So do the bloggers: ace, and the rest. Might help if NRO noticed, and "Poppin' Fresh" actually took a stand for once in his life.

I agree, but I just don't see how they keep this out. I can see Drudge is doing his best with Colbert being the headline, but this is just too damning.

Standard approach the MSM always takes. First, ignore him, then mock him, then assail everything about him, then finally demonize him in unrelated situations.

I hope you're right. I don't care about Drudge...he has almost always been Perez Hilton for the literate.
At this point, I think Osama Obama could be shown applauding as his thugs beat up a protester on live TV and the NYT-led MFM would sing his praises.
I say again: this is primarily an issue about the denial of rights to white people, and white people have no rights now, except those generously given us by the New Messiah.

I don't think Coates can be refuted. At least not in any fair manner that involves adhering to the law (established American law, that is, not Osama Obama's "law").
Though he hasn't said so, I take what I've heard of Coates's testimony (almost all of it) as tantamount to an indictment of Holder's Baby Panthers in the DoJ.
They need their day in court. And, after that, maybe 10 years as federal guests to think about what they were doing.

Lincolntf,
Exactly right, it is about the rule of law. Look, I believe Ace and Protein Wisdom talk about this stuff all the time, but we've reach a serious turning point here where we have testimony from a number of individuals from the DOJ that rule of law is out the door, it's all about social justice now. If nothing happens with this, the election in November means nothing I believe. If we can't get the American public to think this is a freaking DAMNING issue, it really doesn't matter how the election goes.
In essence, see my nic.

I suppose Beck's TV show today will be another weepy rant about one or another of the Founding Fathers, too. Or how "faith" will Save Us All.

RFK pulled a number of questionable stunts as AG. Because he was from "Camelot," and because citizens and the media didn't have the resources they do now to know what was happening, he got away with it. History has only begun to uncover the truly awful -- and illegal -- stuff Bobby was involved in.
We can't wait that long this time.

It's not so much Glenn that bothers me as some of his acolytes. Stu used to keep him honest, but now he, with the combination of Pat, turn just about every show into a circle jerk of agreement about how much his enemies suck. I gave "Captain" Ed Morrissey of Tepid Air that name on two counts. The simple one is based on seeing the pictures of himself he spreads around that blog. But it also has to do with his so-called opinions which, in all but the most severe cases, tend to be soft and squishy.

Speaking of Axelrod:
Liberal Blogger Accuses White House of "Hippie Punching"
The White House yesterday beseeched liberal bloggers to help the administration rally Democratic voters this November, but instead, the Democrats' liberal base decided to let the White House know just how disappointed they are in the administration.
White House senior adviser David Axelrod told liberal bloggers on a conference call yesterday, "You play a great role in informing people about the stakes of elections," the Washington Post's Greg Sargent reports.
Blogger Susan Madrak of the website Crooks and Liars reportedly retorted, "Have you ever heard of hippie punching?" Madrak was referencing a phrase thrown around by bloggers who think the Obama administration has treated its liberal base with disdain.
"You want us to help you, the first thing I would suggest is enough of the hippie punching," she said. "We're the girl you'll take under the bleachers but you won't be seen with in the light of day."
Madrak reportedly implored to Axelrod, "Don't make our jobs harder," to which he replied, "Right back at'cha. Right back at'cha."

In 1998 Reid won 47.9% of the vote and his 421 vote margin represented about 0.1% of the votes cast. There was a libertarian candidate who received about 1.8% with 8,044 votes, another 1.8% were cast for None of the above and a fourth party received 0.63%
The 1998 Nevada Senate race took place prior to Harry Reid becoming part of the Democrat leadership. He was rather shameless in his pandering to the voters that year over what his future value to the state would be if he was re-elected, as he was on the cusp of being in a position to start bringing home major bacon to the state. Even with that he only managed to eke out a 421 vote win over John Ensign.
It was after his ascension to the party leadership that his true loathsomeness now came under scrutiny. To his discredit the needs of his constituency takes a distant second or third behind advancing the needs of his national party or advancing the liberal ideology. Those of us who have had to endure this douche nozzle for the last forty years cannot wait to boot his sorry ass to the curb.
