Remembering 9/11
— Gabriel Malor

Though I think of it often, I do not -- except once a year -- re-read or re-watch the original 9/11 coverage. It is so fraught, so guaranteed to induce tears, that I'm embarrassed by the indulgence. My once-yearly exception is on the anniversary.

MSNBC will show its original 9/11/01 coverage unedited, uninterrupted from 8:57 to noon. I will watch it on television just as it happened, just as I watched it nine years ago and every year since 2006.

I will look at The Falling Man and The Flag Rises. I will marvel at the way contemporary news articles covered events that have now become modern legend.

And I will read other people's memorials from that day.

I just don't think I can watch it all over again this year.

5 I saw the second plane hit, standing on the Brooklyn promenade. Stack up all the horrible things you can see in a lifetime and put it on one end of the scale and 9/11 would still tip the balance.
I really hate the people who were responsible and everything they stand for and I always will.

Damn, it still hurts.  It's 10:45 pm on the 10th, and I don't really want the 11th to come.

I don't have cable, so I won't be watching any coverage.  But I'll read that twitter compileation from Allahpundit.  As you described the cable coverage, so his twitter confession affects me.  "It is so fraught, so guaranteed to induce tears, that I'm embarrassed by the indulgence."

Andy Levy described it best:  The first time twitter comments apeared as poetry.

Allahpundit lived so close to ground zero.  I think his place was only three or four blocks away.

8 It amazes me how much watching this footage affects me. Every single year since, it affects me.  Though I dont think its a bad thing.  I cant believe this happened to us and I cant believe how some people forget.

9 I have a 9/11 collection and I watch something from it each year. It might be 5 hours of ABC's coverage, another it might be the "DC 9/11: Time of Crisis "movie or the Howard Stern show for 9/11 and 9/12. I had been planning to watch "The Path to 9/11*" but I'll hit the MSNBC coverage instead. *mysteriously STILL not available on DVD...

Posted by: Comrade Arthur at September 10, 2010 09:54 PM (cD/5o)

10 BTW, the 9/11 Stern show is a good example of how the average joe reacted to the events. At first, they thought there was a small plane accident and a minor fire. They the 2nd plane hit and everybody knew it was terrorism. And then for hours and hours every rumour was thought to be complely factual. Car bombs at the state dept, explosions all over the place. The show really captured confusion and anger people felt that they.

11 I went to the Ground Zero museum this year and listened to the stories of survivors' family members. They had stations where you could pick up a speaker and listen to someones story. I was crying within minutes. Hearing those stories about losing their husbands, sons, wives, was just too much. I will never forget that day and the emotions I felt.

While I'm shocked....SHOCKED!!!...that MSNBC would do that, I'll record it and watch (since I'll be out reffin' soccer all day on the 11th) when I can.  And I will cry like a baby the whole time, I'm sure.  Though I didn't personally know anyone that was murdered that day, I can identify with those who did.  When I watch...over and over...the stories' of the survivors that day, I wish I could have been there to help them.

What I cannot understand is how MSfknNBsorryassC can air a story like this while advocating the opposite point of view for almost all the rest of the days.  Can someone please essplain???   (ok, I know there is no real essplanation other than schaedenfreud about their true goal of islamification of the world...but I'm still waiting to hear a factually-based opposing argument!)

Thanks and prayers go out to everyone who believes in individual liberties, personal freedom and the right to self-determination.  Everyone else can burn in fkn Hell with Teddy K, Saddam H, Nancy the whore P, Barack Hussein, and the rest of their ilk, y'all know who you are...you Quisling m-fkrs.  Now you socialist libs get your shineboxes and your sunscreen so you can work while you burn!!!!

It is indeed ironic that the most liberal of the three cable news networks is the only one that shows the original broadcasts for several hours straight. Fox News, CNN, and the major networks don't even do that. They show the present-day memorials, but for the most part I think the original coverage is even more effective.

Even though our family did not know anyone killed on 9/11, my Mom still has one section of her bookshelves entirely dedicated to 9/11: books, pics of the Statue of Liberty, etc.

18 9-11 was comparable to Pearl Harbor. (Uhh, aside from the obvious military vs civilian targets and overt nationalistic goals of the attackers...)

Despite a piss-ant shiite hole country sponsoring marginally 'plausible deniability' in this (with known foreign sponsors), the American response was to give shiitecanistan billions of dollars and some military aide in supporting the local Don / Imam  who pretends to support the US vs the guys he supported two weeks before in 9-11...

I went to sleep that night thinking myself a forgiving kind-hearted woman. I found out on 09/11 that I had the capacity for such a terrible rage and so great a thirst for vengenance that it frightened me. A part of my heart hardened that day and I've never been the same.

I would definitely support your plan.  There is another possibility, however, that a buddy of mine (and I wish I could claim this idea as my own but its not) thought up which might be best response evah:

Rebuild the Towers.  Build them one foot higher than they were.  Then, on their roofs, put up a couple of huge-ass spotlights aimed at mirrored satellites in space that would deflect that beam halfway around the world and then down on Mecca.  24/7/365.  Then those murderous fkrs wouldn't ever know when or where to pray.  Ha ha ha fkn ha.  rolling on the floor laughing after it happens...which would be never, unfortunately.  But if it DID happen....

And I'm sure that would be deemed as racist somehow.  Which is fine, however, since I'm pretty definitely a racist...against murderous fkrs that get pleasure or so-called rewards from killing to subjugate or convert those who disagree with them.

And I also think that a glass parking lot centered somewhere around there might not be a bad way to begin construction on DisneyLand Arabia.  Lots of parking and environmentally-friendly nuclear-powered tram rides!!!!

Posted by: Guy Fawkes at September 10, 2010 10:44 PM (L8kaT)

30 I won't.

It's not that I don't feel it; it's not that I don't support our people. It's that I'm one of the walking wounded -- it's not "healing" to be stabbed again.

I'll have a moment of silence sometime during the day. And I'll close my eyes and try to shut out the last moments of those who didn't make it -- and try to find some peace within the emptiness. My thoughts will be with the victims during that moment.

There is a natural tendency to wish those responsible to be blown into their constituent molecules, and their works and surroundings to be further reduced to a such a fine dust that the earth cannot be tainted by their memory. Just as clan feuds have to be put aside for civil justice, we must put aside "glassing Mecca" for precise and effective measures. Thankfully, we have professionals like Petraeus and the US military who are taking a methodical and expert approach to eviscerating our enemies so that a prolonged "Hatfields v. McCoys" doesn't consume my lifetime and more. My thoughts will be with them during that moment.

When the dust started to settle, and the direction of the attack became a bit clearer, there were those that chose to celebrate (e.g. in the Palestinian territories), and those who came to our aid (e.g. Britain). My thoughts will be with each of these peoples during that moment -- though not in the same way.

Finally, there are those within our government that sought to console us in our grief, support us in our wounding, and steel us in our resolve......and those who would amplify our grief, twist the knife in our wounds, weaken us with pity and sorrow, and find opportunity in our crisis. I'll be thinking of those, too.

I don't have to look at it again. I don't have to relive it. I've got the greatest fighting force in all of history taking care of the problem in more dimensions than I can even conceive of.

All I've got to do is make sure that Pelosi-Obama-Reid don't cut 'em off before they get the job done.

39 when 9/11 comes around all I can see in my mind's eye is the parking lot.  You thought they were going to come home and take their cars but the cars remained and you hoped beyond hope that somehow they would have been saved or found or ok and drive home to their family.  If you remember, for about a week, everything stood still and for about a week it was only those cars in the parking lot.

42 Once again, I will watch the news specials. Like a moth drawn to the light I cannot avoid it. A flood of emotions will wash over me till I am numb. Trying to make sense of the madness and horror of it all. Feeling sad for the families who lost loved ones. Feeling angry about our government who actively aids and abets the jihadi war machine by giving them money. I think of the soldiers who bravely fight an enemy that does not wear a uniform. All the while, our soldiers operate under rediculous rules of engagement while the jihadis freely operate as war criminals. An enemy that demands that every living person either convert, submit or die. Plus the idiots who absolutely will not acknowlidge there is not a single church in Saudi Arabia, yet in their insane logic, WE are accused of being intolerant. Since Sept. 11, 2001 the US government has welcomed hundreds of thousands of people from the Middle East. Why? Is it because of the Petro dollars? Is it because of government officials are being bribed to allow a culture that is totally against our constitution? Upon assuming office, did these same government employees swear an oath to uphold the constitution? It is long past time to fire these anti American politicians. In honor of the civilians and soldiers who died, I will not forget, and I sure as hell will remember in November.

47 gus, they flee from the truth because on some level everyone remembers the millenium of war between the middle eastern savages and our European (for the most part) ancestors.  There are only three possible solutions to Islam's nature. A)muslims change it themselves (I include that for completeness only).  B)we impose the civilizing change on them (which involves a land war that would make WW2 seem like a spat).  C) I think we all know, and since Bush laid down the marker that the slaughter of 3000 civilians didn't rise to the level of warranting nuclear retaliation, we must suffer far worse than 9/11 before 'our government' will consider it.

I was in New York in late August 2001, on business. I'll always remember how lovely the weather was. You couldn't ask for a sweeter end of summer.

On 9/11, I was on a train, on my way to work when the first plane hit. My original thought was that it had to be an accident, like the time a B-25 bomber crashed into the Empire State Building. By the time I reached the office, they'd set up a TV in the common room, and all we did was watch it. I just couldn't believe my eyes when the towers came down. I phoned home and asked my wife to put out the flag.

That evening, our parish had a Mass. The church was packed. It was deeply moving. I only learned later that some of our parishioners worked for a firm based in the WTC. None of their colleagues got out.

Later, some doofus chucked a brick through a window of an Indian family on our block. That's the only "hate crime" I'm personally aware of, in reaction to 9/11, and it was aimed at people who had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Since then, so many words have entered our vocabulary: Jihad. Imam. Fatwah. Dhimmitude. Takfir. Words I'd never thought about before 9/11, just as a cancer patient never thought about words like 'metastasis' or 'malignancy' before contracting the disease. Such is Islam's contribution to our common culture.

As for liberals, their reaction is predictable. It's not just their opportunity to indulge in yet another anti-American jag. It's that since the fall of the USSR, they've been casting about for another totalitarianism to follow; and Islam fits the bill.

I try not to get angry, because anger makes you stupid. But I will never forget, and I will never forgive.

74 Some random thoughts from the worst day of my life (my dad's death comes in second): At the time, I was a transplanted New Yorker, living in LA. I was at the WTC on 9/4/01 during a brief trip east to visit friends and family. Every time I came back, I felt like a tourist, eager to see all the sites I took for granted whilst living here. I would take the E train in from my folks' place in Forest Hills down to the WTC and then visit Century 21, J&R Music and then work my way north through Tribeca and SoHo. So, I always referred to WTC as "Ground Zero" having no inkling of what that would come to mean. On that particular day, as I got out of the subway, something compelled me to cast my gaze skywards. I looked up at the towers and stared for about a minute. Then I turned away and left. My mother, now 82, survived the Nazis. She has always reminded me that when she and the last of the survivors pass away, it will be as if it never happened (as the revisionists attempt to do on a daily basis), just as Pearl Harbor has virtually become. By allowing the memory of these things to die, without reinforcing the meaning, it will happen again. The prime example is the utter ignorance of so many young people about the true nature of our government and history. Tragically, there are those who have based an entire political movement upon erasing the history and meaning of our nation and replacing it with an alien and evil ideology. It has been only 9 years since that awful day and already, they seek to piss on the graves of those who were butchered. That's all I'll say about it. This is a day of remembrance and reflection. I am staring out of my apartment window downtown from the Village and can see the empty space of what was. I think as I look back, a part of me died that day and my beloved New York (crazy liberals and all) has never and will never be the same. Rambling now, and about to cry. G-d bless us all and the sacred memory of all the victims and their families. AND G-D DAMN TO THE 9TH RING OF HELL THE IDEOLOGY THAT WROUGHT THIS.

81 I dunno.

I have some pretty vivid memories of 9-11, including some 12 hours of uncertainty, whether or not my Dad might or might not have been on one of those morning flights headed out from Boston (he should have been but wasn't, Vive La France! and the ineptitude of the U of I Alumni tour schedulers!).

I know what I went through back then and even after I learned that my Dad was safe it was still terribly traumatic.  For days and days...

I'm not sure that I would care to relive those days and hours and I'm not sure of the point of doing so.

Chest Beating?

Think on this.

Remember all of those precious, innocent little kids that you hoped to hell were shielded from the sonic, psychic outrage?

Well, however well they were protected (or not) by their folks.  The fact of 9-11 is no more and no less of an objective fact of life for these young adults than the moon landing was for me when I was 19 years old.

It's a completely different map of the world, every generation.

Some of those white areas from previous generations get filled in by wonderfulness and some of them get filled in by awfulness and then the resulting contours are treated as perfectly mundane

I will remember every day, just a bit, the personal outrage visited upon me and my country.

And I will consecrate and publicly commemorate those victims of this mass murder about every 5 years or so.

I think that's my limit from here on out.

I'll have to say, that after 9 years, I'm just about done with the de rigeur annual, collective, "boo-hooing" that we should or should not be engaging in, and to what degree, and what is the fair media coverage of same.

Sorry, I was there.

I was in Tucson, AZ.

Tamping down panic about my own personal situation, trying to focus in class, and the only idiot who thought to bring a crappy-ass battery operated AM/FM radio so that everyone could hear the news on breaks and at lunchtime.

Don't ever imagine that this only affected people who had friends or family working for Cantor Fitzgerald, Windows on the World, or the FDNY....

I know what it was.

I've known for years.

And I'll tell you, that it wasn't some sort of mediated, collective, emotional, managed, NEWS EVENT.

I have less than ZERO interest in watching minute by minute coverage of a couple of hours, from NBC's news files, especially as interpreted by MSNBC, 9 years after the fact.

What could they possibly show me but the first 3 hours of network shock and confusion that they replayed so fucking endlessly during the first fucking 72 hours that I had to turn off news shows.

Gawd they were all so fucking rabid to be able to report on the horror of a new Hindenberg, and honestly, kind of obscenely excitedthat they could weep (for the humanity) right on the roof-tops of HQ and on such a sunny day!

80 hours later is when I knew that Manhattan is one of the most provincial fucking villages on this planet.

i was sitting in my office on Main Street, Blackstone VA (pop @ 3,600--very country, very rural).  My father called to tell me the first plane hit.  He & I thought it was an accident.  Then he called to tell me that a 2d plane had hit.  We both thought "there is big screw-up at the airport somewhere".

Then when he called me to tell me that the Pentagon had been hit, we both said simultaneously "we are at war."

and yes we are.

84 My wife and I were vacationing in Park City, Utah that terrible morning. Were sick all day, but left early next morning for fishing way up in the mountains. We drove deep into the forest and came upon a secluded ranch. It was flying two American flags at half mast. Not for show, but for country. We pulled over and cried.....more. We went to the door, both of us still weeping, to thank them. The elderly couple both came out on the porch and hugged us, invited us in for breakfast. We spent the day with them, today they are still dear friends. In bad times, Americans stand tall.

All this started back in 2006 with the crescent-shaped Flight 93 memorial.

Remember this?

The Flight 93 Memorial Project, wished to design a memorial on the Flight 93 crash site shaped as a Crescent pointing towards Mecca titled- “the Crescent of Embrace”! The outrage that caused made them rethink that plan. The new plans? Do the same plan but title it..”the Bowl of Embrace”!! Not only this….but the plan calls for large glass blocks commemorating ALL who died on board…….INCLUDING THE FOUR HIJACKERS!!

On 9/11, I was in bed with a sinus infection. I have never had one since or afterward, but I did a couple of days before and for a few days after.

I was woken up early in the morning by a phone call from my mom telling me that "they are flying planes into buildings".

I had no idea what she meant and so I turned on the TV.

By then the second plane had hit, but my immediate thought was that it wasn't terrorism but some kind of navigational malfunction that had some local NYC airport directing planes into buildings.

After I watched it for a while I realized that the weather was clear and it was daylight and that was an impossibility but I was still unwilling to believe immediately it was terrosism.

For a few weeks after I was kinds of a touchy feely peacenik but that didn't last long. It didn't last because I quickly realized that this wasn't just a few maniacs but was the vanguard of a religion that wanted to kill all of us.

That's when I discovered that there were others out there on the Internet that felt the same way I did and that we will never have a moments peace as long as these animals are allowed to breath air.

9/11 is a stain that all Musilums must be shamed by and share in their collective responsibility.

I will not be tolerant. I will not hold my tongue as to not offend those animals. They do not deserve compassion or understanding and they will never find it in me.

Screw Islam and those ignorant savages that abide by that death cult.

96 It has been long enough that on this September 11, things need to be put in proper perspective.

There will be commemorations, and that is appropriate.  But nine years on, the emotive bleatings of our therapeutic culture need to be stowed away.  It's long past time for people to quit blubbering.  This emotion-driven bullshit is indicative of the self-centered nature of our society.  The long term drive to survive and crush our enemies never materialized because we, collectively, continue to wallow in self-pity.

We are losing this war.  We are fucking losing.  Mull that over.

We have, at best, a man named "Hussein" in the White House who sat in a "Christian" Church for 20 years being preached at by an acolyte of Louis Farrakhan.  Christianity and its values are not to be spoken of in public, while Islam is celebrated practically as the national religion.  The Koran is a protected, sacred national object to be revered, while the Bible is a manifesto of hate which is the object of scorn of our "elites".  City Council meetings are opening with Muslim prayers, but a prayer "in Jesus's Name" is forbidden by law.  "Free speech" means the right of Muslims to carry signs which threaten decapitation, but Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin and all of us are hatemongers, racists, extremists, and radicals.  A mosque is going to be built where these events occurred, but St. Nicholas Church, destroyed in the attacks by these medieval barbarians from the East, is forbidden to rebuild by the NYC government.  Your old grandma, typical white person that she is, is more likely to be frisked by TSA than a 24 year old Arab.  I could go on, practically indefinitely.

Today, as in years past, we'll be treated to ceremonies, lamentations, weeping, gnashing of teeth, hear tearing, breast beating, and all the other outward displays of a culture that, almost a decade on, can't stop saying "Woe, woe unto my poor, battered self".  It's immature, unseemly, and undignified.  Yes, I remember where I was, too.  Big fucking deal.  We all had to be somewhere.

What we won't see is a society dedicated to its preservation and committed to overpowering our enemy.  Hell, we won't even name the enemy: Islam.  There.  I said it.  "Shhh.  You can't say that."  Fuck that.  We may not be at war with Islam, but Islam is at war with us.  Look at all the "moderate" Muslims who have come out to defend America.  Send me the name and I'll fucking bronze it.  We're not at war with "Terror" anymore than we went to war with "Aviation" after Pearl Harbor, or went to war with "Taxes" during the Revolution.  We were attacked by a religion of heathen murderers who chop up their women's genitals, hide them in a sack, then rape them and stone them.  They cut off their enemies heads with dull blades and display them as trophies.  They have no regard for truth, or beauty, or the lives of others.  They are, in all important respects, Satan himself: the manifestation of abject evil that lies in the human psyche.

And we are losing to these fuckers, because the will to defend what is good in America has been destroyed by our "betters".  Ponder that this September 11th.

Give it a few more years, and no one will remember 9-11 anymore.

107 Hey Wyatt: Just posted on your site. Islam cannot accomplish its ends with bombs anymore. That's why imam Rauf and those like him are as dangerous, if not more so, than Bin Laden. They use Alinsky-ite tactics to infiltrate our society from within and then slowly impose sharia on us and establish the so-called global caliphate. That is how they'll do it. And that kind of a war - the war of ideas - is very difficult to win, especially considering the nexus between Islam and Progressivism, with its willing enablers in media, entertainment and the MFM. Bells tolling now at the church across the street. 8:53 AM. Perfect day over lower Manhattan.

111 But it is CRUCIAL that children be taught - not in a shocking way, but they must be exposed to history and I think as soon as they are mature enough to comprehend.

As part of my freshman history class in 1979 we watched a film about the death camps that showed all the horror in detail, including the bulldozing of mounds of bodies into mass graves. Our parents had to sign permission slips in order to see the film. Not one kid in my class did not watch that film, some of the girls cried everyone was deeply moved. After the film the teacher led us in amazing discussion of the lessons to be taken from that film.

About twenty years later my daughter took the same class in the same school even with the same teacher. However that film was not part of the class. I asked the teacher why he no longer showed that film and he told me the school administration had decided that it was unsuitable for children that age. In 1979 the school left that up to the parents in 1999 they made that decision for them.

I'm afraid that children today will never learn the lessons that I learned by watching that film.

116 Last evening, San Antonio talk radio host (originally a journalist from downtown NYC) interviewed the FOX News reporter who had covered non-stop the event from 4 blocks of the Twin Towers.

Nine years since, though he intends to, the Fox reporter has yet to write his book because all those memories still tear him apart. He stated the obvious, that of all events he has covered live, that was so extremely difficult to maintain his professionalism on air. His crew took no breaks, even when the dust cloud from the Towers' fall enveloped everywhere near the vicinity. They kept broadcasting from within the van that was covered with over 4 inches of black soot in only a moment's time, returning outside in 5 minutes to continue the live coverage, helping to direct victims to aid, and asking those who wanted to talk what they had seen, sharing information from police to the public since communications were cut.

The audio recording of the 911 calls made by people inside the WTC just before they died is one of the most haunting pieces of media from that day. Instead of long-distance shots of planes disintegrating into skyscrapers these tapes put you right there with the victims. The fear, the pleading, the false hopes, the screaming at the end. This should be must-listening for everyone, especially those who use words like "overreact," "Muslim backlash" or "get over it" in relation to 9/11.

Very, very well said, Herr.  Last night, I watched an hour long special at 10pm on Fox.  I didn't want to, but it compels you, as an American, to watch the horrors of that day.  Nine years later, I sat watching, frozen, while the terror of that day unfolded again.  The emotions are even more heightened now.  The airing ended with me feeling extreme anger.  Extreme anger at what they did to us, and almost as much leveled at the Leftist Progressive m-f'ers in this country who are allowing them "to win."   I boil with hatred at Islam.  Sorry, but I do.  I won't apologize for that either.  They brought it on themselves.  And I believe there are very few moderates, if any.

126 Crusty: "The audio recording of the 911 calls made by people inside the WTC just before they died is one of the most haunting pieces of media from that day."

Agreed. Probably the most tragic audio I've ever heard. Victims' last moments. Simply mind altering. That's the history our descendants must experience as a remembrance. It's not something you can unhear, so it's not something you can unlearn.

Indeed.  We are totally exposed.  But worse than our government failing its basic duty to defend us, they are actively working against us, assisting the enemy.  The current occupant of the White House IS the enemy, as are his leftist and Islamist cohorts who taqqiyaed their way to power.

Posted by: Herr Morgenholz at September 11, 2010 08:33 AM

This. Again and again.

Like some other commenters, I learned to hate on 9/11/01. As the news came out of New York and Washington, I wished for nuclear strikes, on our "allies" in Saudi Arabia, on Saddam Hussein's Iraq, on the rabid Muzzie mob in Tehran.

I still do.

George Bush wrote a check he didn't have the guts to cash on 9/11/01. He promised retribution for an act more hideous than Dec. 7, 1941. Instead, he mired us in war that should have sealed the fate of the Muzzie savages, but has become an endless waste of people and purpose.

That was bad enough. What has followed is far worse.

And now, nine years later, we have a president who has, for all intents and purposes, aligned himself with the Muzzie savages. Their feelings, their lives, their "sacred holy book," are more important than our people, our lives, our Holy Book.

We have an enemy who is protected from being named. It is as if millions of Jews and others, countless Americans, so much property, were destroyed in World War II by anonymous "terrorists."

Newspapers and "pundits" in all media exhort us to be "tolerant" of those who attempted to destroy us, who made real martyrs of 3000 Americans. We knew there were "good" Germans and Japanese in WWII; no one denied that. We just concentrated on destroying the bad ones.

Nine years after the day I learned to hate, I am forced to listen to our President -- Barack Hussein Obama -- lecture me about "good" Muzzies. I am told by Obama, and by "tolerant" self-haters like Bloomberg that I must avoid offending the sensitivities of people who killed 3000 Americans nine years ago, who would kill me given the chance. I must sit by and watch as they build at Ground Zero. What the fuck does "Victory Mosque" mean? It means victory over the infidel. Us.

For those who scoff at my calls for the Mohammedan Mouthpiece's impeachment, his actions in this area do not rise to the level of impeachment, but they provide, as the law says, "motive and opportunity" for the evil acts that should drive him from the White House to a prison cell.

That we do not erupt in rage, destruction and violence when the Traitor-in-Chief calls 9/11 a "Day of Service" is testament to the civilized nature of the American people. That deluded loons like Bloomberg are allowed to mouth their insane words in public shows our tolerance.

I say: "this far and no farther." The heroes and victims of 9/11/01 deserve the simple consideration of having their sacrifice noted properly. For them, and for ourselves, we must destroy the terrorists and enablers among the Muzzies, from the Rage Boys who pick up weapons against us to sinister weasels like Imam Rauf. For them, and for ourselves, we must make the world safe for Americans, and if that means being intolerant of those who hate us, that's just too fucking bad.

Finally, we must resolve to never allow treasonous swine like those in the Osama Obama regime to have power in this country. They must be driven from office, and humiliated, punished for their crimes.

Then, at long last, we will have earned the right to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11/01, and be able to tell them that they did not die in vain.

131 When the 1st plane hit a coworker announced it to the office. He was listening to the radio in his cubicle. My teammate said "must be bad weather for that to happen." Not 5 minutes prior to that I had looked at a news website and I remember the weather info blurb: NYC mid-70s Sunny.

I looked at my teammate and said it was a terrorist attack. He just looked at me with this shocked look on his face. I asked him if he's ever flown into NYC and he said he had not. I explained the tight air traffic control around NYC. I said this was no accident.

A few minutes later the 2nd plane hit and again the coworker announced it to the office. My teammate looked over the cubicle wall at me and said:

"My God, you were right, you were right..."

I knew Islam was a murderous and hateful religion. I'd done my research prior to deployment to the balkans in the mid 90s.

To this very day my blood boils when I hear some dumbass say Israel is a tyrant or the USA is imperialistic or that Islam is a religion of peace.

I'm not afraid to say it. I HATE Muslims because they HATE us simply because some pedophile tribal warlord decided to use a false claims of prophecy to justify killing enemy tribes...

133 #90 Deety... I was a student at the U of A in Tucson too at the time. The second stab in my heart was the reaction of liberals to the event. Up until then, I did truly believe that liberals just wanted the U.S. to live up to her own ideals. I learned better, when I found out it was somehow wrong to grieve (never mind angry) or even to watch "too much" of the coverage on TV.

I also learn about hypocrisy when I heard the president of the university first give a hour-long diatribe on anti-Muslim bigoty ON Sept 11 on campus - no patriotism here, then 2 days later, talking about how much he loved America and waving the flag at an event off campus.

I just read a nypost article, in the comments, one of the commentators explains why the 9/11 Victory Mosque is now being called Park 51, when the address is actually 45 - 47 on that Park Street.  It refers to the Quran, and then check out the verses from 51:45 to 51:47.  This is absolutely chilling.

Just posted on your site.

And if the verses posted at the NYpost are correct. If they are, this is absolutely beyond frightening.

142 Posted our flag out front. God bless our Constitution.

God bless our troops. They need all the help they can get to maintain their sensibilities in life amongst Islamic Jihadists and a populace that resents or hates America.

Given this CinC's abhorrent administration, now our troops must also deal with the outcome in Islam from the antics to lance the boil on America's ass by Jones (the fraudulent  "Dr." of theology convicted in Cologne, Germany court and forced to leave his church position in 2008, arriving in Florida to mud rake) and by the perpetually incensed Muslim fundamentalists.

Rather than the literal Quran burning, perhaps in years to come I'd rather see posted illustrations of our own take on 9/11. Illustrate the Quran burning, if that's your take on things. But I'd rather nip it all in the bud, exposing the fraud of its author, and the grievous convolution of etymology (peace, merciful, etc.) that has provided the Muslims with their grotesque vision of world conquest.  Flame the Fraud. So long as Muhammad remains an intact "prophet" everything he wrote maintains vigilant legitimate substance in his devotees. Destroy the fraud at its root. You can't prune a fraud and expect it not to return intact, even regenerated. Around 2001, Americans were content to maintain our polite distance from becoming engaged in flaming Islamic fraud. Clinton's hollow shelling of an Islamic coast following an attack was supposed to prove our power and our will to be humane.

The men who run the Muslim religion completely changed all of our American naive sensitivities nine years ago today. It is not the right or the job of our American government to flame Muhammad (represented today by fundamentalist Jihadists) or any other religious figure such as David Koresh without a trial that results in conviction. Neither does our government have any authority to abuse American constitutional liberties including freedom of speech and the right to protest. And it is not the right of any American party or individual to prohibit, persecute or prosecute our citizenry for protesting fraud.

There is only one thing to say to liberals: "Shut The Fuck Up". Say it loud and often and with great intensity - let them know you mean it.

Before the first Gulf War I worked as a bouncer at a topless bar owned by a bunch of Islamics.

One day one of them said to me:"This is such a stupid country."

I said: "How is that?"

He answered: "You bring us over here and give us an education, then we take what we learn and we destroy you with it!"

I looked at him for a second and said: "I'll tell you what motherfucker, why don't you take what you've learned and destroy me right now."

He turned ghost white and started doing the Islamic crawl of cowardice and pleading; with his hands clasped as though for a prayer: "Please. You misunderstood what I said."

I replied: "No, I understood every word - you piece of shit."

He ran away, and I never saw him again.

Not so. Those in D.C. who hated Bush at the time were mainly patriotic Americans who felt the hate and outrage the rest of us felt. They were not the treasonous pigs who fill Congress and various departments of our government today. Had Bush ordered immediate, no-holds-barred attacks on the perpetrators, there would have been something close to unanimous approval.

Instead, he started the "Good Muslim" meme, talked tough about "dead or alive" justice, then went timidly into Afghanistan. I will always believe he went after Saddam in Iraq because the vicious thug threatened his Daddy. He gave the Saudis cover, even though we knew they supported the 9/11 murderers.

158 My future husband (we lived together at the time in an Alphabet City garden studio) was working at MTV, and I was a cocktail waitress. He left for work at the Paramount Building and got out of the C train 51st St subway station as the first plane hit. You could see it all the way down the west side, but a better view was had from his office. Of course, it was chaos, and every highrise was evacuated. People fled Manhattan real estate; landlords were paying people to live in modern buildings that could be a potential target. That's probably why so many polled on the island nine years later so staunchly support the mosque. They didn't know anybody who died or worked there or even live in the city at the time. Many people moved here afterward as a show of solidarity, some sick death wish or because they thought they'd find rent bargains. I honestly think 911 attracted idiots in droves. But anyway, I was asleep and woke up to the Orthodox Jewish exterminator coming to spray the kitchen and bathroom. He said to turn on the news, and I saw the first tower had been hit. I giggled, thinking it was a drunk pilot. I didn't think people were there yet, because to me the top floors were Windows on the World. When the second plane hit, it sank in, and I was horrified. If I had lived here in 1993 during the first attacks, I might have understood more quickly. But I was just out of high school shipping out for the Navy.

A decade later, the smoking hole is still there, a testament to the pathetic political correct government all all levels, and yet they approve of a fucking victory mosque to be built there.

Time to light the BBQ for some ribs & pork sausage.  Pages from the koran make and excellent fire starter.  This year, I'm using the following verses.

Qur'an:9:88 "The Messenger and those who believe with him, strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in Allah's Cause."
Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."
Qur'an:9:112 "The Believers fight in Allah's Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed."
Qur'an:9:29 "Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission."
Ishaq:325 "Muslims, fight in Allah's Cause. Stand firm and you will prosper. Help the Prophet, obey him, give him your allegiance, and your religion will be victorious."

170 I got out of the NYC subway stop at Brooklyn Bridge about 1:00 or so after the first plane hit. I remember feeling a rumble in the subway car at the time of impact and we all were like what happened.

So i got to the surfaced and walked towards my office. I smelled something acridic, and l looked up and to my left (I was now standing by what is now the slave memorial) and saw paper blowing in the wind, like a huge flock of white doves. That is my first memory. I have lots of others, but too much to share today.

And as for the whack jobs who say the planes did not hit WTC, my wife (then my fiance), who works for the local PD, was just entering 1 PP, when the second plane roared over and slammed into the WTC, she saw the whole thing. She is working today, down at the 9/11 memorial. To the whack jobs i say "FUCK YOU" with every ounce of my being.

To Muslim terrorists I say we will never forgive and never forget. And if to make peace we must make a solitude, then so be it.

The Iraq War was not a mistake. It was a necessary response to an earlier mistake, which was allowing Saddam to stay in power at the end of Desert Storm.

But the way the Iraq war was -- and is -- handled is a major mistake. We have, and had, the resources and brave, skilled military needed to prosecute and finish the war in short order, with minimal loss on our side. The ability was there, but the will at the top levels of government was lacking.

It is worse now. Osama Obama doesn't care if we dribble away our most valuable resources by sending them to the Middle East. He's rooting for the other side.

176 I recommended to the Plant Manager to terminate the drill. He would not do it because we were required by law to do so many per year and it had been shoehorned in before the end of the year.

Eh, I had one retired Lt. Colonel from the Air Force, teaching my Real Estate course that day, as scheduled, and he made a pretty convincing case for all of us civilians, keeping our heads and business as normal, that morning and afternoon.

10 miles away from Davis Monthan AFB, must have been killing him more than most of us, to know what to do.

I remember though, just walking away from the group gathered around my radio at lunchtime.

I think that I was heading towards a Subway just around the corner, very determinedly.

I mostly remember thinking about how hot, the sun was and how incongruous and itchy it was to wear nylons and a slip under my '40's era summer shift in Tucson, AZ, in these days and did young women worry in those days about their stockings the day of Pearl Harbor?

Did girls think about parachutes back then, on those first days?

Anyway, what's the deal now? Nylon would be probably more in demand than silk, when it comes to making lots parachutes.

I hope my dad is okay.
Oh, God this is like Pearl Harbor.

And then, I fainted a little bit.

Talked to the Lt. Colonel after a refreshing drink of cold water in the main office (?!) and expressed to him some of my very minor but very pressing concerns.

I kept my head for the rest of the day, went home calm cool and collected.

Until I got on the phone to Europe to try to find my Dad.

He went on a trip with a new girlfriend -old flame (before I was ever born) arranged through her University Alumni Society.

"Either he is still in Aix En Provence or he made it to Boston, as scheduled."

Which is it???

Yeah, I didn't go back to class the rest of that week.

Even when I knew that my Dad was safe in Cologne.

I could not stop crying for 3 days straight.

I wish now, that I could have been a bit more pulled together for that Lt. Colonel (and for myself) and come back to class, the next day.

Now I know.

Next time I will.

I am beyond being horrified and surprised by your barbarities into a state of fatal shock.

I'm listening to this idiot man/Waffles at the Pentagon, "their lives were cut short, but they lived well and they will continue to live in your families"

Don't question his words, John.  They are simply reflective of his lack of emotion, lack of caring.  They are rote.  Meaningless to him.  Something he has to say as CiC.  Hence, they're stupid, make no sense, are insensitive and insulting.

I will never forget 9/11 or where I was when it happened.  I was getting ready for work and eating my breakfast.  I turned the tv on to see the traffic report.  A breaking news item came up that a small plane had just flown into one of the World Trade Centers.  I thought that was rather weird, but then turned off the t.v. and left for work.

As I was driving to work, the second plane hit the second tower.  I couldn't believe what I was hearing on my radio.  As soon as I got to work, I called my husband (who was still asleep).  I told him that America was under attack and he pooh poohed me.  He did turn on the tv and couldn't believe what he was watching.

One of the women in my locker room told me that her brother had called her before she left for work to tell her he was ok.  She said to him "What are you talking about?"  She didn't know about the crashes.  He lived really close to the Twin Towers.  He said he and his wife were eating breakfast when they heard the first plane hit the Trade Tower.  They ran up to the roof of their condo.  They stood there surveying the scene and then saw the second plane hit the second building.

All day, we were in a state of confusion.  People would come running into our operating room saying "another plane hit The Pentagon", "Another Plane hit Camp David", "The Capitol Building was hit", etc.  The nurse educator found a tv and put it in the staff lounge so we could be appraised of what was going on.

The next day, I was on vacation.  My whole family was supposed to fly out and visit me.  Needless to say, they never made it out.  I spent the next rest of the week in tears and shock, watching the media coverage of what had just happened.  I had never been so sad, confused or angry in my whole life.  It was a seminal moment for me.  I had never cared about politics before.  This was my "aha" moment.  As I tried to grapple with "why this happened", I saw the fingerprints of liberal failure all over it.  9/11 is what has turned me into the rabid right wing conservative that I am today.

Sadly, I did know someone who died on 9/11.  Michael Horrocks was the First Officer on United Airlines Flight 175 that hit the South Tower of the WTC.  He was the star QB of my college football team.  After graduation, he joined the Marines and became a pilot.  He left a widow and two small children.  Although I didn't know him personally, I had watched him play football.  My sister had briefly dated one of his cousins and my brother was friends with one of his other cousins.

187 Running northward that morning, I grabbed one sheet of paper out of the blizzard and stuffed it in my backpack. Fiduciary Trust Company International in Tower Two was finalizing the language of a computer equipment agreement with M/C Leasing in Troy, Michigan. I only have the first page of the letter, so I don't know the name of the writer, or whether he survived the day. Clearly, the leased computers did not. M/C Leasing is still in Troy, a mile away on Northwood Drive. Fiduciary Trust moved its headquarters uptown to Rockefeller Center.

I saved it in a clear vinyl page protector. Gray dust clings to the paper. Some of the dust has settled in the bottom of the sleeve. I keep it in a box with newspapers from September 12 and make a point of reading it once a year.

I remember coming back to work after vacation and getting into my first politcal arguement ever with an idiot libtard co-worker who said that "9/11 was George Bush's fault."

I said "How do you figure that?  An attack like this would have taken a long time maybe even several years to plan.  George Bush didn't get into office until January.  He hasn't even been there for 9 months, if anything it was failure that occured when Bill Clinton was president."

She tried to protest and say that this sort of thing could have been pulled off with little time and planning.  I just snorted and moved on.  That was when I realized just how vastly stupid liberals are.

194 I consider the people who say the Iraq war was a mistake among the stupidest motherfuckers in existence.

During the reign of its first seven caliphs, Baghdad became a center of power where Arab and Iranian cultures mingled to produce a blaze of philosophical, scientific and literary glory. This era is remembered throughout the Arab world, and by Iraqis in particular, as the pinnacle of the Islamic past. Iraq and Iran had been at war with one another since 813 AD, and the Sunni-Shia split
weakened the effectiveness of Islam as a single unifying force. Leading up to the fall of Baghdad, Spain broke away in 756, Morocco in 788, Tunisia in 800, and finally Egypt in 868. When we invaded Iraq, we were taking out an enemy, but we were also echoing history. Though Bush said Islam is a "religion of peace," he sent an unmistakable message to our enemies.

199 I was still in High School at the time, starting my senior year. I was already planning college applications and looking forward to college. I recall at the time, I was still pretty naive. I guess you could have called me a liberal at the time, I recall following all the typical PC bullshit that they indocrinated in us at school. I watched the evening news every other day, and the Daily Show often.

I recall I was in my second period class when a teacher came in and whispered something to my history teacher. He immediately stopped his lesson and went over to his computer and started to try to bring up cnn.com, I think. He didn't explain himself and the rest of us didn't quite know what to make of it. cnn.com was being hammered of course so it barely loaded before he announced "kids, I don't want you to worry too much, but there seems to have been an accident in NYC. A commerial airliner crashed into one of the WTC buildings. I'm trying to bring up the news to check it out". Within, I don't know, seconds half the class was crowded around his mac PC and we were trying to see what was going on. A minute or two later the same teacher that came in from before called out to ours and said to just turn on the news. We had a TV in the room hooked up to cable so we obviously switched to that.

About ten minutes later we saw the second plane hit live on television. I think. The rest of the day was honestly a blurb. Classes really weren't held, the students went to them but we mostly were watching TVs where they were in classrooms trying to follow the news. Teachers weren't teaching. I remember spending the last three hours of school in the library watching CBS's coverage until the school day ended, at least 1/4th of the school was there too. Students were going to the office to try to call out to find out if their relatives in NYC were okay or not. I know several people were freaked out because they had family flying out of Logan that day and didn't know if they were on those planes. I didn't even know at the time my cousin was working for a company who had offices in the WTC tower 2 and he worked there on site every other week. Thank god, he was not working there that week.

After 9/11, I couldn't accept the "oh, we brought this on ourselves" argument. This was not a rational explaination for what those 19 hijacking asscracker religious nutjobs did. They aren't rational. The whole middle east peoples are not rational. They do not think rationally. You can't reason with them rationally because they don't understand it, they don't think like we do. They have never had political or religious reformation. They think murdering you because you worship a different god or don't believe in god at all is peachy keen.

THAT'S NOT RATIONAL. THAT'S NOT EVEN SANE!

9/11 is why I'm a 'conservative' now. I don't even know if I'd call myself that. I think I'll just say I'm sane and don't think if I repeat PC bullshit that it makes it true. I realize this is pretty rambling but I just wanted to say something.

I had every intention of posting links to other blogger's tributes on my site yersterday. Really, I did. Then I watched the first one over at Pam Gellar's place and was so filled with sadness and hatred that I knew I'd never be able to post them, what with my hands shaking and trying to type through misty eyes.

All I could do was come up with a prayer.

After reading Herr's earlier post, I also wonder if we have the fortitude and determination to purge radical islam from our country before it's too late. The disgust I feel toward those heartless bastards and the murderous little pedophile they worship has grown over the years. The rage I feel towards them and their cult of death surely threatens to poison my soul. I know I shouldn't harbor such feelings, but how am I supposed to feel, knowing that someone who doesn't know me wants to kill me when I've done absolutely nothing to provoke him?

I'm sickened that we've been forced to learn and try to comprehend their foreign language that describe things that are the antithesis of our way of life and our values. Taqqiya, hudna, eid, and so on. I don't want to learn about those things, I don't want to try to understand why their so-called holy book endorses the senseless killing of anyone. I really wish they'd just go away, move and leave us in peace. I also know that's just wishful thinking, that evil never rests, it keeps coming at us like waves, relentless and unceasing.

What's coming cannot be avoided: the evil, the death, the destruction of the "religion of peace" is readily apparent. Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear knows and recognizes the threat. And no one in Washington has those eyes or ears. Islam is a cancer upon the earth and must be removed by any means available to us or else we will surely die from it.

That is the truth, as much as it pains me to write it, knowing in my heart that a fellow human holds such evil within his heart that I may have to defend myself against him to the death. It's as if we've been given a choice, one that we can no longer escape deciding.

Do we choose life or death? Heaven on Earth or a living hell? Preserve our way of life and our beliefs, or submit to something conjured up from Satan's home, written by an evil hand?

What will it take before we decide? How many more shootings and beheadings will we see before we collectively say, "No more."

And I pray there will never be another day like September 11, 2001 again.

God, if it is your will...

211 They do not think rationally.

You are dealing with a nomadic people whose culture is bragging, conniving, lying and childishly simple. Buying a hammer or getting a shine in Istanbul is much like buying a carpet. You ask how much something is, and you're given a ridiculous price. If you pay that, you're an idiot. You are expected to haggle and spend hours negotiating. They lie over the little things just to keep in top form. Even if you live there and they see you every day, if you look different, especially if you look affluent, be prepared to argue every time you buy stuff. It's not impossible to get along with them. But be aware you're dealing with a culture that has utter disdain for weakness.

218 As much lip service is given to the three Abrahamic religions, they are all very different. Only Christians seem content with separation of church and state, going back to the axiom, "Render unto Caesar what is his." Jews need a nation for the Jewish people, and Muslims do, as well, apparently. But Jews and Christians both go out of their way to help the weak, where Islam says only help Muslims, who seem to practice the Alinsky rule of making your enemies live up to their own rules. The Koran refers to Christians and Jews as pigs and apes, because we apparently don't actually believe in anything.

225 It is by the grace of G-d that this country has not had another 9-11.  Here is an additional reminder for those who may not have heard this story.  A person by the name of Michael Leiter who is the Director of the National Counter Terrorism Center did not cut short his ski vacation after the failed Fruit of the Boom underwear bomber (Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab) tried to blow up Flight 253.   Please note, on Jan. 2, Leiter surprised many Obama administration officials with his first statement on the Detroit bombing attempt - eight days after it happened.   That same day, National Public Radio had aired an interview - taped before Christmas - in which Leiter said it is "harder and harder for us to detect" Al Qaeda's improved capabilities.  "We're not going to stop every attack," he predicted, ominously. "Americans have to very much understand that it is impossible to stop every terrorist event. But we have to do our best."  Also worth noting is President Putt Putt did not feel the situation was important and also failed to cut short his Hawaii vacation, and returned to duty Jan. 4.  Famous actress/comedian Whoopi Goldberg was heard saying "well it's not like it was terrorism/terrorism, just a failed Man Caused Disaster so lighten up willya".  <<<  I may have made that part up so file it as Fake but Accurate.  Finally, intelligence worthy of a Wise Latina, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano was quoted saying 48 hours after the near-miss attack that "the system worked,"  <<<<  she really did say that.  Un friken believable.

227 @ PCC That's why we must appease the terrorists now. Because our overpaid, fat, lazy government cannot be relied upon to do its job or listen to the voters. Throw the bums out. Every fucking last Democrat.

228 240 Israel is a secular state, never, EVER compare it to an Islamic country. Those are fightin' words.

229 Formally, it's a secular democracy where Judaism is privileged, but Israel is a Jewish nation. Jews make up more than 80% of the population of the land and are in political control of the land, though non-Jews who become citizens of Israel have the same legal rights as Jewish citizens of Israel. In fact, there are a few Arab members of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament.

Political Islam seeks to dominate the world, but Judaism and Islam are more political than Christianity. That's the only reason I can see American Jews like Bloomberg cooperating with Islamists. They both seek to drive Christians out of public life. One sees them as a reason for a Jewish nation (the Holocaust and the Inquisition, for example), and the other sees them as an obstacle to global conquest. That is why Jews first cooperated with the Moors.*

230 Wonder how the French are observing today?  I am thinking there are at least 751 areas that will be celebrating, under the guise of EID which is the end of Ramadan (not to be confused with IED which is the Religion of Peace way of saying hello and goodbye).

This war was declared on Western civilization by a malignant Islamic culture saturated with religious extremism.

They want a world Caliphate.  America, at least under George Bush, stood in their way.

Obama wants to engage in a fatuous  “muslim outreach” policy, which only serves to encourage their extremist nature.  He changed an aggressive counter-terrorism strategy to an “overseas contingency” against “outliers”.   But then again, heÂ’s a total waste of skin.

The first volley in this war was actually fired back in 1979 with the taking of American hostages by Iranian extremists.  If Carter hadnÂ’t shown his weak tendencies before then, that particular crisis sure did.

When you attack an enemy, you donÂ’t half-step.  You attack us, we annihilate you, your supporters, your friends, and the fucking camel you rode in on. The Islamists declared war on America, if not Western civilization.

What I find atrocious is the total complacency on the part of the American public. People go about their everyday lives as if they live in a fish bowl and nothing will ever affect them outside of their daily routines. The people who drove to work at the Pentagon and the World Trade Center thought so, too. The people who boarded United Airlines Flight 93, American Airlines Flight 77, American Airlines Flight 11, and United Airlines Flight 175, were on their way home to see friends and loved ones, or on busines. It was an ordinary, sunny September day.

The point being, enemies don't pick a day or a time to attack us when we're prepared or expecting it. Which is why vigilance and intelligence are essential. The Japanese struck as the Christmas holiday approached. There are many conjectures over the reasons why muslim terrorists picked 11 September; ranging from the "911" emergency number to the looking for flights that were cross-country (for full fuel tanks), at a time when the passenger load was low (less people they needed to control). My guess: It was simply the day when their plans came together. The warning signs were ignored and dismissed. Almost 3000 people died because of it.

We can say "never again" over and over, but unless we are willing to do what it takes to stop them and prevent it from happening again, the next attack will make 9/11 look like a fucking picnic.

I say this every year:

ItÂ’s damned important that we not just remember the heinous attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the one thwarted by brave people over a field in Shanksville, Pa., all of which killed nearly 3000, but resolve that it never happens again.

YouÂ’d have thought that Pearl Harbor taught us a lesson, but 60 years had passed, memories faded, and complacency set in.

Our borders leak like sieves, our immigration policies are lax, and we have slid back into complacency.

The foolish hesitancy to profile will probably result in another catastrophic attack on America. I hope for the sake of my country, that I am wrong. But, I donÂ’t think so.

The problem is–and this cannot be stressed enough–is that the enemy has patience. They understand us better than we understand them. They will continue to exploit our openess and unwillingness to completely destroy the Islamic nation-states who breed, fund, train, and indoctrinate their terrorist spawns.

Unless or until we are willing to reciprocate with the same brutallity, they will be back. Til then, this war ainÂ’t over by a long shot.

232 I started hating muslim terrorism at an early age. The Pali slaughter of Israeli athletes in Munich was the first long distance news event that ever affected me emotionally. I still have hate in my heart bred from that day.

Even so, until 9/11, I thought that all Muslims living here in this country were here because they liked the US better than where they came from. Many of our Iranian immigrants, for example, are here because they fled the revolution, and a lot of them are good folks. Only after 9/11 did I start learning of all the other muslims living here who were financing and otherwise aiding terrorist networks. Just as bad are the ones who are aligning with the commie left in this country to undermine it from within.
