Rick Sanchez: Drug addled, Brain dead, Douchnozzle or Asshat, you decide!
— Purple Avenger

Manslaughter "Enthusiast" Rick Sanchez sez:

are our fundamentalist zealots different than the ones we fight in afghan and iraq?
Well Rick, you're the supposed "journalist" here, so I guess we'll have to trust your voluminous detailed reports about all those "American Fundamentalist" IED's, beheadings, infrastructure attacks, and murder of voters.

10 On December 10, 1990, Sanchez struck a pedestrian, Jeffrey Smuzinick, with his car on a residential street near Dolphin Station . Smuzinick was paralyzed and eventually died in an assisted living facility in 1995. Sanchez had just left an NFL football game with his father when the accident occurred, and he fled the scene of the accident, not to return until hours later. Police officers at the scene later reported that he smelled strongly of alcohol, and when tested, he registered a blood alcohol content of .15. He was not charged with causing the accident, but was charged with and pleaded no contest to DUI.

True story - last year in Afghanistan, I had to share a b-hut with a reporter for a while. (Not a real reporter, Googled his name and all I found were links to HuffPo.)  I told the guy in charge of assigning b-huts, if he ever had a choice between sticking me with a reporter or a Taliban, go with the Taliban.

Posted by: Bomber at March 25, 2010 06:59 AM (qzoN5)

63 You know, this might backfire on them.  I might be engaging in wishful thinking, here...

A lot has been said about how people gravitate toward a winner.  We see it all the time.  Another sociological phenomenon is how people become emboldened when they know people agree with them.

Moderate-to-right people have been demonized for *years.*  Someone commented yesterday that we've been taught not to discuss politics in mixed company, while lefties always assume everyone agrees with them.  For them, the gloves have been off for years, and to get by in social circles or the workplace, polite conservatives have tended to feel marginalized, or at the very least were keeping quiet.

What happens when people who have felt outnumbered and intimidated for years suddenly realize that not only are they not alone, but others are finally speaking out and resisting?

This from wikipedia on his personal life:

Sanchez was born in Guanabacoa, Cuba. The son of Cuban political exiles who came to the United States in the 1950s from Cuba, but left him behind to be raised under the loving care of Fidel Castro. Sanchez grew up in the city of Havana. He graduated from Havana High School in 1977 and snuck into the United States sometime afterwards.

He and his wife, Suzanne (also a Havana native), have four children - three boys and a girl, Ricky Jr., Robby, Remmy, and Savannah, all with different fathers.  The children all suffer from mental retardation as a result of multi-generational inbreeding.  The oldest, Ricky Jr., is alleged to be the biological father of Savannah.

When I inadvertently happen to listen to a left wing mouthpiece like Sanchez, I puke.

But once I finish and finish cleaning my computer and surroundings, I think about what this really says.

When conservatives immediately hit the emergency generaliztion button, the leftists call them racists.  When the leftists do the same thing and the conservatives call them on it, the conservatives are racists.

It's well known in middle America, actual home of the tea party movement, that middle America DOES NOT throw bricks, cut gas lines, or threaten to "deploy snipers".

Those are all tactics of the far-left anarchist crowd, the same people who throw bricks and molotov cocktails at WTO meetings.  The people who think Starbucks in the enemy and set fire to their coffe shops.  The lefty anarchists who attacked elderly delegates to the Republican National Convention in 2008.

Tea Party attendees skew to the older, less physically adept end of the demographic spectrum.  Anybody who thinks a bunch of eldsters has the strength to lift up a coffin and drag it to somebody's front yard is either lying or stuck on stupid.  The people with the energy and interest in doing something like that, well they tend to be young lefties doing the bidding of their commie masters.

What happens when people who have felt outnumbered and intimidated for years suddenly realize that not only are they not alone, but others are finally speaking out and resisting?

Esp. since the other side just shoots off their mouths with crap like this. If they are going to scream racist when the videos show no racial comments were made, you might as well speak out.

Damned if we do, damned if we don't? Then by all means, let's do.

104 Screw all this "Tea Partiers are a violent, racist mob" crap. I can't even get worked up by all the fake concern by the media and those pussies in Congress.
We all know what it's really about, and anyone who is so freakin' dense that they still don't see the pattern whereby opposition to Leftism is equated with "hatred" is a fucking simpleton and not worth the time it'd take to educate.
They can do their little "we're so scared for our country" song and dance until the cows come home, we're still gonna steamroll the douchebags in just over 7 months.

Yet.

Nah. Reporters just show up at just the right time and place to catch the jihadis murdering people. Get a great camera angle that just happens to be out of the line of fire, too.

121 Sanchez has a degree in JOURNALISM you are all just blog commenters so show some respect. Dont be childish and keeping bring up his youthful indiscretion, if Mr. Smuzinick was alive he would support universal healthcare and maybe it would have saved his life unlike those stoneage fundamentalists (American or Iraqi who want to go backwards not forwards.

Maybe someone else has already addressed this, but, excuse me, Dirty Sanchez, but, your side has been against "our" fight in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The people doing the fighting are more likely to side with the people you seem to think are "fundamentalist zealots".  The only "fighting" I see from your side is against Americans citizens, douchebag.
