— LauraW Well.
It's been quite a week, hasn't it?
I'm sitting here on the back steps of the AOSHQ with the laptop, smoking a ciggy and watching Ace and Slublog clean their hobo gaffs and chat (they went on a joint expedition last night).
It's a little chilly, but a beautiful mild Winter morning in New England. My coffee is making little curls of steam, just like the still-warm entrails that Slublog is shoveling into the storm drain right now.
Good day for some not-very literary goofiness. Haiku in 5-7-5 format or Loose Shit, your choice.
lefty dorkwads say
Brown's a closet plutocrat
'cuz he lives indoors
keep fuckin' that chicken
an attorney owns some land

State troopers endorse
Scott Brown now cause he's long been
"For Law and Order."
(Saw the vid today on Hotair. Plus the point is made that Coakley not getting the endorsements from cop guilds/unions is further embarassing for an AG. I hadn't even though of that--beyond the Cambridge Police Guild going for Brown 11-2 despite her hubby being a former cop there!

Coackley sucks

While poor Martha sounds more like a clown.

Was in Ipswich this morning and saw Coakley people packing up in shame. Brown people down the street getting tons of honks. Ipswich is moonbat central.
Later.

More outrage from PC BS Army JAG corps
AP- Washington Post: soldier's family says pictures aren't porn
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The family of an Illinois National Guard soldier said Friday that he's been charged with possession of child pornography in Afghanistan over innocent snapshots of a 4-year-old relative in a swimsuit.
Unit has been sent home, they are keeping him for court marshall.
The entire JAG corps needs to be fired and replaced by common infantry. Maybe then they would have some common sense.

This Haiku is a little fat, syllabolically speaking, but it's dedicated to Roger Ebert, so it's okay:

Let's do this, people! How can you help? Do you have any classmates, former co-workers, friends, family in MA that you can call or email? Can you help otherwise? I'm 3,000 miles away but I've never been so energized over an election like this. The more I read about Brown, the more I get inspired. (Yes, I need to get out more.)
This will be historic, but it is far from being a done deal. Let's make it happen.
Boston Herald:
Massachusetts is becoming ground zero for the national Tea Party movement as emboldened activists flock from Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York in hopes of helping Scott BrownÂ’s meteoric campaign close the deal in the race for U.S. Senate.
“If Brown wins this election, it will be the shot heard around the world,” said Rhode Island Tea Party President Colleen Conley. “This will be a clear indictment of the Obama presidency and the Democratic Congress overreaching.”
Activists from several states are volunteering to rally, donate and make phone calls.
Tea Party members from Montana, Texas and Georgia have been flooding The Greater Boston Tea Party and the Plymouth Rock Tea Party with calls, representatives told the Herald. Activists also are emptying their wallets, with the Sacramento, Calif.-based Tea Party Express having spent contributions on ad buys for Brown, said spokesman Levi Russell.
Connecticut state coordinator Tanya Bachand said, “Anything we can do to stop the health-care bill in Washington is what we’re really aimed at.”
Rhode Island Tea Party members will spend their weekend in the Bay State campaigning for Brown, the Wrentham Republican state senator who is locked in a dead heat with Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley, recent polls indicate. With the clock ticking on TuesdayÂ’s election, Tea Party activists from Connecticut are arriving in Worcester today, where they are due to meet with others from Albany, N.Y.
The support drew the ire of former President Bill Clinton, who denounced the movement at a rally for Coakley yesterday.
Said Clinton, “I thought Massachusetts knew more about American history than anybody else, and understood the Boston Tea Party was a revolt against abuse of power, not against government itself.”

"keep fuckin' that chicken" - Laura W.
Vulgar language is unbecoming to anyone who uses it, but it's especially unbecoming to women 'cause it's so unladylike.
I suspect that it's a college thing for girls; i.e., one of the bad habits that they picked up in college, believing in their rebelliouness that it was cutesy and chic to talk like a truck driver at a truck stop.
Using proper grammar and sentence structure and a proper grasp of the English language can be more effective than using vulgar language. Profanity just makes one look ignorant of any better way to express themselves
End of sermon. Peace be with you my children. And to girls let me say one more thing; give yourself more freely to men. Promiscuity without procreation is good, and you'll be a happier and more fulfilled woman if you stop playing hard-to-get.
Vinay, Shazam. Victus. (That's Latin for, put out and make a man happy today)
Forgive me Lord for having these thoughts.

Doesn't our government ever waste money in moderation?
It seems to me that a few hundred books of McDonald's or Wendy's or Burger King gift certificates would have been more appropriate than the billions of dollars which were sent to Haiti.

300,000,000+ people in the USA, alone, and I'm the only one here today? Geezez, how many people did Ace ban from here?
Not good public relations, Ace.
You can get new advertizers, but if there's nobody here to read their ads, they'll be history, and all that people will find here are crickets.
BTW, have you ever considered that Democrats could become your advertizers, and then threaten to withdraw their ads, appealing to your greed as a means to get you to ban their critics? Cunning, those Democrats.
Now, if you were a savvy businessman, you would realize that it was a quid pro quo thingy as much in their best interests as in your best interests for them to bite their tongue and to let thoughtful and irreverent conservatives to do their own thing here. You need to play hard-to-get and remain cool with your advertizers, instead of allowing them to establish your websites policies.
Advertizers are like women. They need to be seduced. But let them get the upper hand, and they'll turn you into a wussy, and then they'll leave you and find themselves a real man.

It's a conceit and ego thing. I'm glad that empty suit is going to Massachusetts. That dimwit doesn't even realize yet why he got elected. He still thinks that he got a mandate 'cause that's what his sycophants keep telling him. Again, he will fall flat on his face in Massachusetts, and he will be too stupid to realize why, and his sycophants won't have the balls to tell him why..
