Seriously, this guy can not go away fast enough.
Meanwhile on the Democratic side, they are running away as fast as they can from their unemployed, unknown and under investigation for sex crimes candidate for the Senate.
Sen. Bob Menendez of NJ, the head of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee says, "South Carolina? Never heard of it."
But South Carolina Man of Sacred Honor, Democratic House Whip Jim Clyburn says he knows exactly how this guy won a Democratic primary...the Republicans did it.
"There were some real shenanigans going on in the South Carolina primary," Clyburn said during an appearance on the liberal Bill Press radio show. "I don't know if he was a Republican plant; he was someone's plant."The third-ranking House Democrat said he found it strange that Greene, a relative unknown prior to Tuesday, was able to produce the money to register and run for Senate despite being unemployed.
Greene allegedly tried to pay the registration fee in cash, and Clyburn said he wondered whether an outside party might have funded both the fee and Greene's campaign, in violation of federal campaign finance laws.
I know it's still early, but South Carolina has a healthy lead in the race to be the state with the most bizarre politics this year.

Vic, good work on the P&C story. Check out this racist line from a democrat, in the story. Republican said this, all hell would break loose.
" State Sen. Robert Ford, D-Charleston, who lost his gubernatorial bid Tuesday, said race could have played a role. The Democratic primary electorate is majority black, as is Greene, but not Rawl. " Vic Rawl had money, but he didn't have enough. He wasn't able to identify himself with black voters," Ford said. " No white folks have an 'e' on the end of Green. This kind of crap used to go on all the time in AL politics until conservatives numbered enough to make a difference in Democrat elections and they decided it was time to start watching their side of the ballot so the same thing didn't happen to them.
The irony of it all is that Republicans usually aren't smart enough to whip out a ringer that could actually win a Senate race. Clyburn also fails to notice that the Republicans probably had twice the number of voters that the Democrats had. Turnout is everything in races where there is stiff competition, something their race didn't have.
