I think Graham means well.  One, he isn't a super genius, and two, he gets out of the Air Force, wants to go into politics, has generally center-left ideas, which back in John Glenn's day meant one became a Democrat, but like his good buddy John McCain, by the time he was ready to enter politics, the Dems had plainly become the anti-military and pro-communist party.
