— Ace No, really a gender-brain test, to see how you stack up.
I did the first test, the one with the angled lines. It informed me that I was so completely manly I could probably have sex with like 25 guys and still be straight as an arrow.
So, you know. Weekend's really filling up now. Will be back late Sunday/early Thursday.

A continuation from the post about conservative senate candidates. I went straight from this site and donated to 3 candidates I want to help.
Donate Morons. We do not want to be sitting in the same situation come December as we are now.
Break out the plastic. Open your wallets. Donate. Volunteer. Tell your relatives who waiver politically the benefits of the candidate in their state. Whatever you can do, do it now. A month later may be much too late. Even $25-50 in the right place can help if we are all doing it.
Now back to our regularly scheduled moronosphere.

"You'd think that reducing corporate and even foreign influence over our elections wouldn't be a partisan issue," said Obama. "But the Republican leaders in Congress said no. In fact, they used their power to block the issue from even coming up for a vote.
"This can only mean that the leaders of the other party want to keep the public in the dark," said the president. "They don't want you to know which interests are paying for the ads. The only people who don't want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide."

Well, well, more comfirmation of Obama's attitude towards Goldman Sachs. Also interesting that Google, Citigroup, & GE make the cut, while BP's previously reported donations would be much lower-down on the totem pole (they didn't make the chart, & wouldn't for that bracket).

While dozing off last night in front of the idiot box, A Betsy Markey(D-CO) ad came on.
She's promising "no more bailouts!" OK - sure, Betsy. Your party is bailout central.
The democrats are running an ad campaign promising not to do what they just did to us over the last 2 years.
Hilarious. Will voters get it? I'm feeling confident the the rest of the nation gets it, but that CO is uniquely full stupid.

My problem was that you couldn't see the person's entire face, so it was somewhat difficult to decide between the 2 emotions that were the best answers.

What's interesting is that the Brits & Euros are are upset that Goldman Sachs got off so easily, whereas we largely don't seem to care. I've also read that the British government now uses Citigroup (in some instances) more than they do their own bank. (Can't prove last, & it was also in The Telegraph.)

I scored somewhat female (25/100), especially on the emotional intuition things, but I scored "male" on the rotating objects in space thing (which makes sense based on the type of science I used to do - 3D reconstructions). I think the test on systemizing was somewhat flawed - the questions were kind of gender-biased or maybe I'm not getting the test. For instance, I have no innate desire to know how machines work... unless they're broken, in which case I do and can figure out the problem. Same thing with chess -- I don't enjoy playing it, but I was good at it in my prime. And I'm good at assembling flat-pack furniture.
I aced the "eyes" emotions test -- so I've informed Mr. Y-not that he should STFU the next time we have an argument wherein he claims that I am not correctly perceiving his emotions.
Best of all for him? I prefer feminine faces. So that lesbian threesome may be in the future after all! har har

I'm always amused by the spatial relationship stuff. I think it's more complicated than they make it out to be.
Case in point: I am a much better packer of luggage, particularly at the end of a trip, but he is much better at loading the car or putting a large piece of furniture in a tight space.
Also, he can never "remember" or figure out the pattern of where things go when they're put away in, say, the pantry or clothes closet or dishwasher, but he is much better at reading maps.
Maybe it's a scale thing.
I feel like there's a pattern there that they overlook.

Maybe since there's a portion of the test where it questions you about your ability to empathize, they use the eyes test as a way to weight your answers. I mean, you might think you're empathetic, but not test that way in the eyes test. Maybe what matters is how you think you are or how much you want to be empathetic.
I dunno.

I did extremely well on the men questions/shitty on the women questions and found none of the men remotely attractive. Gulp.
The only saving grace -- I had no ruler so I didn't get an 'accurate' picture.
I'm going to chalk this up to wacky pseudo-science. Otherwise I'll cry. Hey, that might actually be good -- will make me think I have some estrogen floating through my body. Somewhere.

Yes, I think so... There's a website somewhere... I forget where... that examines your page views and makes a guess as to your gender. I score mucho macho male on that. I'm sure it was the political and sports sites... very few shoe sites!
I assume that things like the right brain stuff are used to normalize the answers you give/get. I mean, if someone is right brained, they should down-weight the gender component of their answers on spatial relationships, shouldn't they? I think I scored well on the 3D relationships thing because of my science background (or the kind of science I did, to be specific).
But I guess it's a bit chicken and egg.

Scored at 50/female. Pretty obvious.
The face test was awful, seeing as they used three ugly guys as the bases for their photoshopping. Still got "prefer more masculine," but I really wanted a "who cares, they're freaking ugly" choice.
Also, the eye test sucked. Still got most of them, but without the entire face, it's really hard to determine what's going on. Funny, however, that I scored as extremely empathetic on the eyes and extremely un-empathetic on the question part.
I still don't understand the money part. I would go 50/50. Did not register that the goal was to get as much as possible out of the deal.
Finally, it is my long held belief that politics and ideology have more to do with women's preferences in male faces than hormones. Maybe I'm biased due to experience. Feminine men are easier to control. So are wussy girls.
