Not really funny
From SNL, not really surprising.
Link is to NBC, btw, if you don't want to give them the clicks. Didn't watch, myself.

Gabby Sidibie totally captured the look of the average DMV employee, didn't she?
Hell of a make-up job there, huh?

You know you've struck a nerve when the audience laughs in that uncomfortable way.....
"heh heh.... heh.... is it okay to laugh at this?"

Good Job.
He's like a government worker-- same performance, only without the benefits.

The DMV girl looks like every person at my local post office.
I need a translator to undertand what they're telling me.
I'm now banning myself for making such a (true but) racist statement.

The long standing meme that we must all be taxed to death to pay for fire-fighters and school teachers - (and those services never really improve, do they)- and we are shamed if we don't agree to be tax-raped.
It's for the children!

Taiwan had a 6.9 mag quake this morning!
Cover 'em up, gals!
No reason to be so rash, just have them aim at Iran.

SNL Skit = "Not really funny"
If SNL actually had a laugh out loud funny skit on their show, it would be flaming skull time.

Remember SNL'S skit TALES Of FRAUD And MALFEASNCE In RAILROAD HIRING?
It was with George Clooney. Not funny at all, but somehow memorable.

O/T -- Since it's a slow news day. Here's a new conservative video that's getting rave reviews. I say, "Meh." But, it does redeem itself at the very end. (via Moonbattery)

Heh. AT&T rep tried to get me to sign up for their Uverse service. Once I got done with the salesman, I had to get on the phone to confirm my order with someone else. I couldn;' understand a word he was saying. I finally just hung up and said "I'll take of this myself on-line. kthanxbai."
Guy lost the sale, but dammit, get people who can fucking speak clearly to work the damn phones, you idiots!

"ObamaÂ’s National Security Advisor Tells Joke Depicting Jews as Greedy Merchants"
drudge has the link to this and apparently the apology....
hey my mom says "just don't say it in the first place so you don't have to apologize after, duh"
Posted by: curious at April 26, 2010 11:37 AM (p302b)
I personally am sick of dealing with really surly nasty people in foreign countries who know you are stuck and have to talk to them. The other day I got one and asked her what country she was in. Her answer was "we are not allowed to say" which in and of itself was an answer since you then knew it wasn't the United States of America. Don't understand why customer service which billy c promised would stay here as part of the "new service economy" has now gone to other countries too.

SNL is like watching a series of skits performed by a college humanities department.

Ace is gonna retire early on all the Acai Berry ads and the ones for local Mom makes $77 per hour! Hell, he's prolly retired already!
Posted by: Chi-Town Jerry at April 26, 2010 12:32 PM (f9c2L)
I don't know how he does it but it is really easy to, when you are in a hurry, click on those ads inadvertently....lol

I know Ace is like totally banging that "local mom". I bet his wife is totally pissed that he's doing the Ewok slap and tickle with a chick that looks just like that French news reader Mélissa Theuriau.
