— LauraW All 250 Inhabitants Of WI Town Burned To Bone Splinters And Ash
It was a fiery Independence Day in the tiny town of Egg Harbor, WI. Temperatures climbed to 600 degrees Fahrenheit just before 10 am.
Terrible.
Just awful.
The children. My God, the little babies. Such a loss...
Oddly, no one seems to have recorded this odd weather phenomenon except for the NOAA and Michigan State University, as an entry in the climate data which is being used to bolster claims of global warming. Along with other fraudulent data.
A beleaguered federal agency appears to be implicated in the most blatant and extreme case of climate data fraud yet seen. Official records have been confirmed as evidence that a handful of temperature records for the Great Lakes region have been hiked up by literally hundreds of degrees to substantially inflate the average temperature range for the northeastern United States.
If you go read the article you will see that one of the Great Lakes has also recently boiled away and all the fish are cooked through. If you live nearby you should mosey on down to check it out (bring some tartar sauce).

It's like politics I guess. It's for the children. Mother nature was bound to get in on the act eventually, seeing how well it has been working for the goracle, teachers unions and Barry-saver of jobs.

Didn't these scam artists at the NOAA also put a muzzle on the scientists from Florida that were eager to report the 6mile oil slick form the BP spill? Covering for the I Won admin. again, I guesss. These fuckers are nothing if not consistent.

If using Rankine, 600°R equals 140°F.
If using Kelvin, 600°K equals 327°C, which equals 620°F.
It's all bullshit.

We have long known that NASA and NOAA were tampering with the data and massaging the numbers.
What is bad is the EPA is marching right along and using this data as an excuse to bypass congress and regulate CO2 and the press is saying the Supreme Court OK'ed this.
That last bit is an outrageous lie.

Nah, you barely get to 600 with Rankine - in Death Valley.
Ya know, most database programs can set flags when data is out of any reasonable range. Apparently beyond the brain power of these researchers.
Lessee, its 67F in West Jepeepee and its 73F on the blacktop in Jepeepee 1 mile away, so's by extrapolation , it must be 673F in East Jepeepee at 100 miles further east.
These guys have given themselves a wonderful way to be perceived - either as over-edjumacated dunces or as frauds.

June’s trade deficit swelled 18.8% to $49.9 billion, the highest since October 2008. That was much worse than Wall Street predicted — or what the Commerce Department estimated in last week’s Q2 GDP report. The new report, along with recent inventory data, suggest Commerce will revise down Q2 economic growth from the already-sluggish 2.4% annual rate to about 1%, according to Action Economics. Action Economics is looking for stronger retail inventory figures later this week that would imply a 1.4% GDP pace.

I dined with some scientist peoples a few weeks ago and the conversation turned to a proposal to make all raw scientific data available to the public. The table was decidedly "nay", after all, it would be too expensive and "people wouldn't understand" the data.
Well, I give you exhibit A (along with ClimateGate) as to why all publicly-funded scientific data should be easily available.
/It'll be a PITA, but well worth it in the end.

I think all of that was so that the government wouldn't let people see just how small the spill actually was. While it has done damage, it wasn't the apocalypse that the libs and media (I know, redundent) made it out to be.

On behalf of the professional frauds in climate science, we apologize for this amateurish bit of work. We are usually much more careful when we make shit up. It's one thing to ruin your economies and reduce your freedoms, that's acceptable and noble academic work. But to do so in such a slipshod and insulting way brings disgrace to the rest of us.
You have our solemn pledge that after we complete our investigation into this matter and fully exonerate those involved, we will redouble our efforts to get more grant money from your taxes so that we can produce higher quality frauds than this.

Years ago, when I was still a neophyte part-time climate scientist, climate scientists, much like myself, speculated that global warming might result from all of the energy it took to fake the moon landings.
Well when America faked the whole 9/11 kerfluffle and Barry and his minions faked his birth certificate well... game over, as you can imagine.

Quite agree. We rented a house there over New Year's a few years back , and it was damn cold. It was maybe a -550 degrees. Or was it a minus 10. Either one.

I always wonder why the need for so many revisions. I also always wonder how come they can't seem to predict adequately yet on some things they predict almost too well and are able to make millions. The bad predictors ought to get together with the guys making the millions on predicting.

I wonder what the motivation is of someone with the NOAA. I can see where the college might have a financial stake in gubmit funds for "study," but the NOAA? I don't get that.
Unless they take cash under the table. Cash from those who benefit directly.

They just didn't: A) note it, B) correct it, C) tell anyone (as far as we can tell).
They also apparently didn't stop trusting the rest of the data from the satellite when part of it went haywire.
So, the question still unanswered is: did this data get "homogenized" into a larger pool that was used for "AGW" propaganda, sorry I meant national temperature figures?
The disgruntled and self-superior functionary who responded to the information requests didn't answer that question, the last time I checked.
The whole "hide the data" shit has got to stop. If the raw data is so damned bad, that needs to be part of the debate, and so do the adjustments they make.
There's been an absolute epidemic of bullshit studies and even more bullshit conclusions over the last 30-40 years, and jail terms may in fact be needed to put the brakes on it. I don't know what will really work, but you're pretty safe assuming that any study summary quoted on the news won't be supported by the data. It's probably a 50-50 chance, if that.
