Special Elections This Month
— LauraW

UPDATE: There are statewide primaries underway TODAY, May 4th, in North Carolina, Indiana, and Ohio. If you are in one of those states, get your intolerant, hobo-beating ass to the polls.

Please call your fellow teabagging racists to make sure they do the same. Original post follows.
----------------------------------

There's a modest load of Special Elections in May.

Don't be caught flat-footed if you are in any of these districts. Democrats' best weapon, as always, is ignorance. This cycle especially. They are cottoning on to popular sentiment and do NOT want publicity for these smaller races.

Don't let them win just because nobody knows there is an election that day. Make sure people know.

GET OUT THE VOTE IN YOUR AREA.

* Texas Senate District 22 - (May 8, 2010)
* Texas House District 100 - (May 8, 2010)
* Georgia House District 12 - (May 11, 2010)
* Georgia Senate District 49 - (May 11, 2010)
* Massachusetts Senate Middlesex, Suffolk, Essex - (May 11, 2010)
* Massachusetts Senate Norfolk, Bristol, Middlesex (May 11, 2010)
* Pennsylvania House District 20 - (May 18, 2010)
* Pennsylvania House District 138 - (May 18, 2010)
* Pennsylvania House District 147 - (May 18, 2010)

BOOYAH.

9 Got a local town election here, and I can't find jack on my candidates. Guess I'll have to figure it out when I get there. Oh well. I at least found out which ones were the Dems.

For you TX morons:

House 100 - that means those of you in Dallas.

Senate 22 - that means those of you in Bosque, Coryell, Ellis, Falls, Hill, Hood, Johnson, McLennan, Navarro, Somervell counties.

I decided to give it a rest today and not complain about the RNC, Michael Steele, and the do-nothings in the Republican party in Washington.

The previous rep from Texas 100 (terri hodge) just plead guilty to tax evasion.  Another crook is sliding right into the vacant seat.

Can you guess what party?

17 13 If we can take back Murtha's seat, that would be awesome.

This is a bit of good news on that front.  The Dems lose some election money and a charity gets some money for their operations.  Win-Win.

Democrats lose John Murtha's war chest to charity

Recent polls show Burns surging. A Research 2000 poll has him ahead by six points. A Public Policy Polling survey shows him leading by three. Still, Burns admits that he faces an uphill climb heading into the campaignÂ’s final days. PA 12 is chock full of Democrats, he points out; they have a significant edge in voter registration. Jimmy Carter won in this region twice. So did Bill Clinton.

What about the R running for Voinovich's seat? I don't even know who's running. Why don't we know these things?

36 In Ohio, check your local Teabagging Racist website for suggestions on how to vote... or just bring along your endorsement card from the state GOP, and vote for anyone not endorsed. Seth Morgan for Auditor and Sandy O'Brien for S of S

37 Big sis spoke after holder....oh my she seems to have gotten "religion".....she is saying how important "If you see something, say something"  is....hmmm I seem to recall on several occasions she didn't feel this way before, wonder what changed her mind.  Anyway both she and holder have stressed this in their comments.  Holder scared the crap out of me again though.

38 Voted for Marlin in the primary,  DeMint's guy.  (Indiana)

I did this despite Huckafat also endorsing him.

There are so many GOP candidates to fill Buyer's seat it looked like one of the school board elections .

Voted no on building a new jail.   They can put up a few trailers or tents.  I am not spending one dime on anything, and I sure as heck am not voting to raise taxes.

I was just thinking the same thing.  I have never seen holder this serious and big sis, who heretofore has been taking things "lightly" IMHO seems to be showing her stress right on her face.

Holder is taking questions but "the investigation is ongoing" so he is very adept at not saying anything.

Kelly saying they have beefed up security in times square and he said "the guy came very quickly".....getting the impression the time between the point at which the guy drove up and started to do his thing was very short and that t shirt guy really is one of Reagan's American heroes.

In fact, had a Dem come in this afternoon, and once he found he couldn't vote against the incumbent (R) sheriff because we have partisan primaries, decided he wouldn't vote at all! Turnout is overall pretty poor, but let's hope the conservative got their message out.
