Emphasis mine. Three seats not even on MY megagasm (NY-2, TX-25, OH-10) now pulled out of the safe pile, and for the first time RCP now shows more vulnerable Democrats than safe ones. Over 50% of all Democratic seats now in play to one degree or another.
Oh and the boxed-in races are ones few were even putting on their radars...
with the exception of the bloggers and morons here at PuddingHQ.
If you want these seats, BE THE WAVE.

Want to have some fun? It looks like the Dems are putting personal phone #s, locations, gender, age, & party affiliation on a web site for the world to see. They are using the site as a way for people to call potential voters for GOTV.
Well, I blocked my caller ID, and started calling people from my area to let them know that their info is on the net for the world to see, and asked them if they were aware. They weren't. They aren't happy.
Why should we only call Republican voters? Change some Dem minds, folks!

Steny Hoyer, Dennis Kucinich, Barbara Boxer, John Dingell, Bawney Fwank, and other pieces of human waste I thought would only be leaving DC feet-first may end up getting voted out.

Lloyd Doggett pissed off a whole bunch of people with his voting. Unfortunately his district has just enough of E. Austin that he used to able to count on GOTV money to carry him. Now the people out in the country have risen up.

You guys hear this?
On Fox New Radio they had a little story about Whittington, the old guy Dick Cheney shot in the face.
Whittington said he and the vice president were not the close friends they were made out to be, just acquaintances.
AND he said he's still waiting for an apology from Mr Cheney.

TX-25 is ultra-liberal Lloyd Doggett. The challenger, Dr Donna Campbell, has a well organized strong grassroots campaign. An ER doctor who wants to repeal the HC bill. She has taken 7 of the 8 counties by storm! South Austin is being flooded with her signs; did RCP come to town for a visit and see the writing on the wall?
Yep - one of those signs is in my yard. Trying to get as many people as I can out to vote for her. What a sweet win that would be.

Agreed. Everyone knows that Austin has a hardcore liberal base but there are plenty of conservatives here to and Indies who are less than happy with the way things have been going. I wonder how many of these people who are talking a good liberal game at the water cooler are actually gonna go for the "R" when they draw the curtain back on the voting booth.

I'm not sure where they're getting the lists from, but I've gotten "get out the vote" calls on my personal cell before from Dems.
My response, once I got the voice mail, was to call back, give them Terry McAuliffe's home phone number, and say if they ever called me again I was calling him to let him know about it. They haven't done it since, BTW.

"Deceased" will likely cause the most mayhem if they show up to vote, but the most risk if they do not. Imagine the confusion when the person shows up to vote, only to discover that someone's already voted straight-D for them!

I'm familiar with NJ-6. This is primarily a blue district, not the bluest, but blue enough. Its part of the Monmouth/Middlesex corridor, which has some urban areas in Middlesex which vote heavily Democrat.
Here's the deal. Incumbent Frank Pallone is a douchebag liberal who proudly takes ownership of Obamacare, and other Obama/Democrat agenda items. He's been in the seat since Bush the Elder was elected POTUS. So he's deeply entrenched and tough to dethrone.
RCP as of last week moved the seat from Safe Dem to Likely Dem, and with Pallone with a 12 pt. lead, its not exactly a positive for him.
On the other side of the coin, Anna Little hits the right notes on most conservative issues--pro-life, pro gun, etc. Her problem is two-fold: 1) Like I said before, the district is deep blue, and 2) she's relatively unkown.
Look at the most recent Monmouth County poll. 45% of those polled said they had "no opinion" of Little. Not too many people know about her.
I just recently joined her campaign to help out, and I can tell you there's a lot of enthusiasm in her campaign. Also, there's a slight buzz around the neighborhoods. I'm seeing Anna Little signs creeping up all over. One particular town, which is upper-middle class, very Democrat, had about 5 signs on one street. Doesn't seem like a lot, but in this particular area it is, trust me.
Also, Governor Christie will be appearing with Little at a campaign rally in Piscataway this Sunday, which I will be attending. Hopefully that can generate some buzz.
NJ-6 will be tough for the GOP, but if it's gonna happen, it will be 2010 or bust. In the words of Rocco Lampone: "Difficult, not impossible"
Sorry for the long post.

Anybody got thoughts on marking Dems one way and Indies another?
I'm thinking maybe just reflexively marking Dems as strong support, and Indies as dead, wrong number, refused to talk to me, or strong against.
Two ideas here:
1) Keep them from bothering to contact those who are already Dem
2) Get them convinced that Indies won't give them the time of day, aren't worth contacting again, and aren't voting for them even if they will talk to a, ahem, moron.
Who wants to be first to trash what passes for logic, here?

So, then what's going on with this business of not being able to get them their absentee ballots if I can send them a package, a package that will get there in two days. So I began to think that something about all this disenfranchising rings not so true. So then fox has an old woman on who says they should not be disenfranchised and she is representing a mother's of soldiers group. Is it possible that they want to have this fight, they want to be able to declare the elections not closed until all the military ballots are counted and all the ballots of those not in the state via mail and then you won't really know the outcome until this is done. And if they are saying it will take more than three weeks to deliver the ballots then they will probably say it takes more than a month to get them back to the individual states. I'm wondering if this is a way of leaving the results open for perusal for over a month?

Maybe. It depends on how big the win/lose margin is for the candidates from votes already cast. Everyone knows that the military will be voting mostly repub., so if a repub candidate has an unquestioned lead after Nov 2, the absentees will just be frosting on the cake. I'm just glad someone is stepping up to defend our military's right to have their votes counted.

Or have fun another way by just indicating that you called (yes on the left side), but that "no," this voter isn't going to vote (on the right side).
I'm thinking the Dems will recontact those who say they're going to vote to remind them closer to the election, so maybe they'll skip these people.

A lady says "go to the parent and the parent will handle it"........not true, when the parent gets to the district they will politely listen and politely tell the parent to go to hell. Essentially, they show you they have all the power, they don't want to bring attention to stuff like this and they can only speak to the boys/girls involved and hope for the best. If they politely speak to the boys/girls involved it results in the victim being treated worse. No wonder he kept his mouth shut.

But then what would be the purpose of these calls in the first place? Isn't it to find out who plans to vote, so they can bug them again and make sure they actually do go to the polls? I don't think we want to encourage them to contact these people to remind them to vote right around Nov 2.
