Tim D'Annunzio, NC Republican for Congress Has Awesome Fundraisers
— Dave in Texas

Come for the BBQ. Stay for the MP5s and Uzis.

Here's his website. Served in the US Army, Honorably Discharged in 85 as a Staff Sergeant. Was a member of the Army's Golden Knights Parachute Team and also a freefall instructor at the Army's Special Warfare Center. Businessman, family man, pro-free markets, anti-amnesty, favors small government and lower taxes, pro-life, favors domestic oil and gas production, and has awesome fund raisers. Sounds good to me.

The 8th NC Congressional District is currently represented by Democrat Larry Kissell.

1 Wasn't D'Annunzio Danny Noonan's rival in Caddyshack?

2 is Kissell a blue dog? If yes, swat him with a newspaper.

Wonderful clip that takes time out to mack to moonbats.

A "machine gun social"; I love that idea.

5 Also check out BJ Lawson who is challenging David Price in NC-4.  The site is lawsonforcongress dot org.  We need all the help we can get to oust Price from his 20+ year hold on this district.

17 LOL! I darn near respect the protestor for having the stones to show up at an armed event, speak her mind in a calm voice, eat their food and leave in one piece. You gotta admit, it was a gutsy move. Jesse Unruh used to say "If you can't take their money, drink their booze, fuck their women and still vote against them, you have no business being here" or words to that effect. Ditzy broad...

19 Parachute rigger and Golden Knight eh?

That means he's meticulous, detail oriented, doesn't mind hard work/training, and understands the real world penalties for fucking up.

I've jumped on loads when the Knights were training.  Their shit is wire tight.

20 Is he related to the D'Annunzio that was up for chair of the RNC, but Michael Steele edged him out? I think he is. Machine gun social, pistol-whipping party, firearms fete, whatever.  I'm down for it.

Not so much.  For it to have been a gutsy move, there would have had to have been a probability greater than zero that someone at the event would misbehave.

Now, a moron going to an armed Leftard event....

Hey,

I live in California we got some real dandys as well.  Feinstein and Boxer....yea they hate guns, love big government, love taxes, hate private business, love amnesty, but they're really cute babes.

God I hate my state!

Posted by: Sparky at February 16, 2010 07:04 PM (r0u40)

27 Some really good Republican candidates smell blood in the water and are deciding now is the time to make their move. I'm gratified. We need to replace the riff raff that have been gathering mold in their Washingtom seats for the past 30 years with a fresh crop of unspoiled conservatives. People who can remember what it's like to earn an honest living, rather than sucking the government tit and looking down their noses at (the unwashed rabble) those they are responsible to.

Hey, Purple Avenger - I take it you skydive?  I was at Bragg 95 - 97, jumping at Laurinburg and Raeford.  Any chance we know each other?

And for those of you who haven't had the privlege of being a Paratrooper, Jim's Pawn and Gun is a fixture in the Fayetteville area, hometown of Fort Bragg. This is a district heavy with retired Green Berets and Airborne guys, and probably the most heavily testosterone saturated area in the world.

31 I hate my district.  No machine gun socials in NJ.

Posted by: Holdfast at February 16, 2010 08:24 PM (hDyHJ)

32 Of course, I can't vote or donate money, but I do love BBQ and full-auto weapons.

I wasn't a paratrooper but I was at Bragg for a couple years and I remember Jim's.  A friend of mine bought a Remington 700 with a scope from there.  Its a pretty big place from what I remember.

Airborne, we need more paratroopers to drop in behind the enemy lines in Congress.  Kissel has problems in  his district with  Af Am b/c he voted against hcr, and crap and tax and the libs are pissed as well.  His campaign manager quit and talked shit about him for that reason.   He is expected to get some primary problems, however his poll numbers are not that bad yet a fellow paratrooper should be able to kick his ass given that this Congressional District lives eats and breathes NASCAR, is patriotic and rural and is  waking up to what it really means to be a Dem/Socialist.

41 Bill Randall is going up against douche bag Brad Miller in NC-13.  Brad Miller is the guy who claimed he got a death threat last summer from one of those mean Tea Party people!  It's never been verified.  Brad Miller:  lying like a rug as usual.

I'm so proud to be a NC8 voter. There's a few good guys running in the primary, D'Annunzio has a head start because he hit the ground running. Kissell has been covering his bases voting against the most leftard legislation like health care demolition and crap and tax. I suspect the moonbattery will stay home, but this is a tough district always falling to thin margins.

Kissell defeated Hayes because of an anti-Hayes vote more than an anti-Bush vote. D'Annunzio can definitely win here once he gets past the primary. All he has to do is post Pelosi's pic next to Kissell's; my side of 8 went McCain  by 61%.

#41, #35 is a well known sockpuppet of a regular. Malik Shabazz was the Black Panther with a nightstick outside a Philadelphia polling place on Election Day '08.

But yes, I agree with you and I helped some of our jihadi friends to their eternal reward myself.

44 I love this man! We need more Congressmen like Tim D'Annunzio in office.

OT But D'Annunzio's bakery in my hometown made the best pepperoni rolls. No wonder that liberal couldn't keep her mitts off his BBQ.
