It's early in the war, like he said, and it's a religious war, on that side and for the recruits at least, so the motivations of these low-level guys are basically insane. So long as that's so, the bombers (or whatever) will be shitty, and they'll only succeed occasionally, by accident, or in small-scale suicidal blitz attacks. Lunatics are bad at everything.

If the big-time jihadis ever smarten up, or get replaced by smarter bad guys—I'd bet on their winding up puppets of Europeans who hate Jews enough to destroy civilization over it (typical Europeans, then)—and take the "suicide" out of their terror plans, that makes the job appealing to sociopaths, not psychotics. Then everything changes.

I remember right after 9-11, they started checking the imams that had been preaching in our prisons for years. They were shocked to find out that criminals really like sermons with lots of killing and shit.

I really think Michelle Bachman has done a good job but I guess her district doesn't appreciate her.

Bachmann is pretty safe; last I checked she was holding a 9 point lead.  The Dems have been pouring money in the race only because they hate her (which is of course why we like her), not because they have much chance at beating her.

 Well, nice to see that at least the other side, i.e., the Muslims, admit that the war is between the Muslims and the U.S.  Who knows, in a couple of decades *we* might even be able to admit that as well.

Well, I don't think it'll happen in the next two years, at least.  Remember.  Dear Leader told us that we'd be able to absorb a major terrorist attack.
