And I completely confused him when I asked him if he wanted fries.........you should have seen the look in his eyes.

Sensennbrenner and Inhofe were to undermine the process and try to keep our economy from being completely, so if their expenses were reasonable they may be justified, but we don't need to be footing the bill for Paul Pelosi--he already gets millions a year in taxpayer funds.

Remember how I told you how the local radio talkers dedicated their shows to talking about Brown vs Coakley, even the sports talkers?
Well, the local moonbats are pissed off that Americans have exercised their 1st Amendment rights. They blame the "jock talk" for Coakley's loss. According to the local PBS idiots, inlcuding the homely daughter of Andy Rooney, the 'hate radio' talkers trashed Coakley for days and got out the 'white male jock' vote.

It worked so well the first time: It's Stimulus 2: Electric Boogaloo!
Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Lawmakers are set to consider a jobs-stimulus package totaling about $80 billion that would provide tax credits to small and medium-sized businesses that hire workers, a Democratic senator said.
The plan, to be presented today to Senate Democrats, would include aid to state governments to prevent layoffs and additional funding for infrastructure projects, said the senator, who asked not be identified. The package also will likely include energy-related provisions such as incentives to weatherize homes, a Senate aide said.
This ought to save or create thousands, 1.5 million, 2 million, 300 gazillion jobs

JAKARTA — Indonesian authorities said Monday they are considering a petition to tear down a statue of US President Barack Obama as a boy, only a month after the bronze was unveiled in Jakarta.
The statue of "Little Barry" -- as Obama was known when he lived in the capital in the late 1960s -- stands in central Jakarta's Menteng Park, a short walk from the US president's former elementary school.
"Barack Obama has yet to make a significant contribution to the Indonesian nation. We could say Obama only ate and s (expletive) in Menteng. He spent his subsequent days living as an American," the web page says.
"For the dignity of a sovereign nation, Barack Obama's monument in Menteng Park must be removed immediately."

A) "President Easy Bake" is my new favorite name for him.
2) I honestly don't know if I'll get through the speech without chemical intoxicants. I may have to settle for frozen chocolate cake.
iii) OTOH, it doesn't start 'til nine and that's when I usually go to bed, so I may just skip the whole thing and read about it in the morning.
d) Pregnant by oral sex? Without reading the article, I call bullshit. Stomach != uterus, unless there's a stomach-stapling-gone-horribly-wrong angle somewhere in there. (No offense to people with stapled stomachs.)

Meh.
I was driving home from work late Sunday night, and libtard FM radio jock doing a public affairs show basically said that Western civilization brought nothing to the world at all, and we would all be better off if the Europeans had just stayed in Europe and left the world alone.
This coming from a man sitting in a heated (courtesy of western civ) studio, working in radio (thanks Marconi, an ITALIAN), who will drive home in his car (thanks Henry Ford, descendant of a European) to his energy efficient house (built using western building codes)...
I could go on, but you get the idea.
This is the same libtard that said Islam would be friends with us if only we stopped supporting Israel.
FYI, this all happened in about ten assorted minutes, since I can't listen to him without wanting to put my fist through the dash.

The premise is that unlike Obama, Clinton finally understood that "in a center-right nation, a liberal doesn't want to get too far ahead of the voters."
I buy that. They'd probably be better off to wait until their media wing manages to implant their message in the minds of voters, and their agenda is adopted by the "moderates" of both parties, before hitting the gas on the legislation.

What a relief! I've been desperately seeking to find a life since Tupperware died. Thanks to Obama, I've finally found people who will let me into their living rooms again. Maybe this time, instead of taking shots everytime we hear the word "hope" and double-shots at the word "change", we can all get tipsy as we toast "let me be clear" and "it's all Bush's fault" with double-shots when our brave new Socialist Overlord promises to keep "fighting." Maybe we'll all get drunk enough that they'll let me stay for more than an hour! Now, that's hope - that I'll get a life! Sincerely, Ellie Light

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Verizon Communications Inc., the second-largest U.S. phone company, plans to cut more than 10,000 jobs at its fixed-line unit this year after posting fourth- quarter sales that missed analystsÂ’ estimates.
High unemployment hurt sales to companies and damped growth at VerizonÂ’s FiOS Internet and TV service, said Christopher King, an analyst at Stifel Nicolaus & Co.
“The economy, first and foremost, we really see no signs of improvement there,” said Baltimore-based King, who advises investors to buy the shares and doesn’t own any. “I would have expected to see a little bit more signs of stabilization in the fourth quarter.”

To Agnostica's lead-lined thought balloon: I doubt very much that conservatives use an astroturfing operation. Where Republicans 'turf, it's inevitably something bipartisan and, therefore, something the Democrats like too. I am thinking here of Campaign Finance Reform and various Bush proposals (c.f. Armstrong Williams). "Ellie Light" simply isn't something a conservative would think up, and besides the slime trail is leading back to Axelrod.
That doesn't mean Agnostica for her part is 'turfing either. She just came up with an idea, which happened to be wrong. (It further happened to be obviously wrong, but I'll put that down to insufficiently strong coffee.)
So, let's all take deep breaths, and tell our respective shrinks that this latest batch of anti-psychotic meds aren't working.

@78 So where was this feisty candidate and why didn't he run for President? At last, someone who will stand up and fight. Oh. Wait. When McCain was running he still had his day job as a Senator. Now his day job is being threatened.
Well, duh. McAmnesty has never had any compunction about attacking conservatives.

Here's a big surprise, national "women's groups" are complaining about a Focus on the Family pro-life add due to air during the super bowl with Tim Tebow reading the script. The story I read said that his mom was "counciled by her Dr." to get an abortion because of an illness she had.
Almost makes me want to watch the game at my neighbors just so I can watch their heads explode. Animals have more value than humans don't you know.
Of course, the Tebow haters here will pop-off in 5-4-3...

Our digestive tracts are designed to digest stuff. There's nothing magical about sperm cells that would make them indigestible. And, as we all have heard, even a woman's (normal) reproductive tract can be inhospitable to sperm survival, motility, and effectiveness. But somehow we are to believe that a magic sperm passed through the digestive tract into the reproductive tract? And, on top of that, this magical fertilization occurred during her menstruation when the lining of the uterus is shed?
Sorry, didn't happen.
They did not provide details on what they meant by "no vagina," so I'm guessing, based on the location of this incident, that they had a simple visual exam, but no CAT scans or the like. What structures of the female reproductive tract were missing/present? Where did the internal structures of the reproductive tract stop?
Doesn't it seem most likely that there was in fact a small, rudimentary entrance into the cervix that they were unable to visualize with the naked eye?

1. I want to catch memorable phrases from any fake letters Obama quotes, so that I can google them to see if they are reproduced en masse in letters to the editor columns across the nation.
2. I am hoping he decides to thrown in his own stuff, departing from the teleprompter. I especially love when he tries to explain math or science.
3. I am hoping he does over the top stuff, like criticizing the Supreme Court or ordering Congress around like lackeys.
4. Always hoping for an irate citizen who slipped in to the balcony.
I will be participating in at least one live thread on this. Hopefully you guys will have one here, too.

Jan. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Confidence among U.S. consumers rose in January to the highest level since September 2008 as the labor market improved and Americans became more upbeat about their immediate future.
What?
“It’s a slight improvement, and given where consumer confidence has been the last four, five months, a slight improvement is a nice takeaway,” said Mark Vitner, a senior economist at Wells Fargo Securities LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina. “It appears labor market conditions are not getting any worse, and that’s a plus.”
Ahhh...so not getting any worse is now called improving. Well done MiniTrue

I'm going to come here to find out how the SOTU goes -- during the actual speech I'm going to busy myself with something meaningful; the barn needs stripping out (those domesticated grazing animals...) and the kennels need a wash down too. That sounds like the perfect thing to do while easy bake makes his speech, and unlike the speech I can don protective clothing.
As for the enviro-nitwits -- I think some of the comments about them being as dangerous as the terrorists is spot on; so I guess green legislation is just as important as the war on terror because if the greenies get their way completely they very well could cause just as much death and destruction (if not more) than the Muslims. Perhaps that needs to be thrown in their faces more, I don't know.

"Does he need those things to order at Arby's?"
Let me be clear...while I am for the inclusion of curly-fries in my combo, I am, and always have been, against the status-quo within your organization that assumes I want Arby's Sauce in my Roastburger. Putting Arby's Sauce in my sandwich is not change, it is merely more of the same.
Furthermore, I am a strong proponent of the idea that, when you spread the Horsey Sauce around, everyone benefits.

Now there is mounting evidence that the ozone hole above the Antarctic has been protecting the southern hemisphere against global warming.
The bizarre side-effect of ozone depletion has been studied by scientists at the University of Leeds.
The ozone hole, caused by chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) released into the atmosphere, is now steadily closing, but the research has suggested this could actually increase warming.

They are perpetual high school students. This explains everything about them.

Speaking of which, anyone remember Breitbart saying he had better stuff he was going to release before the November election if Acord didn't back off the lawsuit?
I remember that, too. Part of the deal was that he would turn over everything he had to Justice if Holder actually opened a full, open investigation. Otherwise, he plans to let it out right before the election. And supposedly, the worst is yet to come!

Requiem for Antarctica by Albert Gore
One thin September morning in the southern hemisphere
I looked up, and the ozone hole was gone.
I thought, this is a good thing, closing up the ozone hole
But I was wrong, oh, Lord, I was wrong.
Now the penguins will be dying, like the polar bears up north
Extinction from the curse of man-made heat.
Our lives will be diminished and the world a sadder place,
And there will never be another Happy Feet.

167 -- I think that a fair few in the environutter movement might even go beyond watermelon...these silly bastards really do want to destroy civilization as we know it and a goodly portion of humanity as well (the commies and the muslims merely want to control humanity into the direction of civilization that they feel is best; they don't necessarily want to be rid of either entirely). Scant praise for those two groups, but it does point to just how awful and dangerous some of these greenies really are.
When you want to destroy your own species and make it impossible for it to exist beyond nearly extinction levels, then something is very wrong with your head, but there you have it -- that's really the way some of them think.
They really should be put on trial for crimes against humanity imho. Hate speech/thought, perhaps?
