5 On vote counts, Obama lost Kyl's on START.

VP Bite Me is crying wolf, that without START we have no national security.

Obama realizes that Russia sees him as an impotent naked lame duck emperor incapable of delivering on promises requiring Congressional approval.

Don't be surprised if a new executive order "ratifying" START is issued from the Oval Office in time for Christmas this year.

Damn, what happened??? Is the world coming to an end? A Republican won in an election in a blue State by less than a 1000 votes?

There must be some kind of "secret agreement" in place.

8 Miller in Alaska has the guts the Minnesota senate campaign Republican  candidate should have exerted, demanding a complete recount before quitting, delivering the Toad Franken to burden America from Congress.

Miller isn't to be swept away silently. I don't begrudge him his recount demand, though scanners are more accurate than "by hand" except on the write-in ballots.

9 Chitown, great Walsh confirmation of victory.

btw, I saw the left marginal link to Chicago's Blago Blog. AG Holder is working overtime to exonerate Jesse Jackson Jr. by evading trial.  As if Charlie Rangel's problems occupy the entire Congressional Ethics Committee capacity to function properly, they're begging off involvement exposing JJJ as well. Plenty obstruction of justice for charges against Holder.

Citing Rod Blagojevich's upcoming retrial -- and a request by the U.S. Department of Justice -- a congressional ethics panel has once again stalled its inquiry into U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., as requested by the committee today.   "A retrial of former Governor Blagojevich has been set for April 20, 2011," the statement reads. "The Department of Justice has asked the Standards Committee to continue to defer consideration of this matter and the Standards Committee, following precedent, agreed to defer consideration of this matter at this time."

10 In other news this morning at Fox I see that Sen Kyle has thrown a monkey wrench in Obama's plans to cut the nuclear arsenal in a deal with the Russians.

Somehow I don't think that cutting these things down to so little is necessarily a good thing. And I sure as hell do not trust Obama in any treaty with the Russians what-so-ever.

13 I see Christie has some work to do in the NJ school system besides fighting with the unions:
Bullying dispute erupts at Wayne school over ‘Taliban’ comment

http://tinyurl.com/3ajmra2

It seems that we are rapidly becoming the same as the UK here with overboard PC crap trying not to offend muzzies.

My question is would the school have done the same thing if someone had mentioned some other group of people? How can the mere mention of "the Taliban" be considered insulting? To me this is some serious WTF crap. If it was up to me I would fire the school administration and anyone who had anything to do with developing this stupid PC policy.

Perhaps it is time for the rest of us to start fighting back. Sure it is stupid to hire lawyers and sue the school for a one day suspension, and besides, that only punishes the tax payer unless a condition of your suit is to fire the people involved.

Instead how about normal people start being offended everyday by "comments" made by the "protected classes". We need to start using their own tactics against them. Overload the system with protests and grievances because we were insulted over some chickenshit comment.

14 LOL, this for all you people who worship Mittens as the 2012 candidate:

The Biggest Loser In California

http://tinyurl.com/2bxsznb

The biggest loser in California elections wasnÂ’t even on the ballot: Mitt Romney. Meg WhitmanÂ’s 12-point defeat in the race for California governor foretells what would happen if Republicans nominate the mirror image of Whitman for president in 2012.

[snip]

The fable of the businessman-turned-successful-government-executive is as old as it is illusory. The theory goes that someone who is successful at running a large corporation can run government like a business. This was the storyline behind Ross PerotÂ’s failed 1992 bid for the White House, among countless other instances.

15 Charlie Crist is mulling over issuing a posthumous pardon for effeminate lefty icon and father of the modern brooding-teen-writing-shitty-poetry demographic: Jim Morrison. If I were governor, I'd have Jim Morrison and Aldous Huxley exhumed and reburied together in the 69 position so they could keep sucking each others' dicks until Judgment Day. Fuck off.

How much control should the government have over your paycheck? As Congress gears up for the lame duck session, they are planning on tightening their grip on business by revisiting the Paycheck Fairness Act, S. 3772. This bill would give the federal government and the courts unprecedented power to second guess routine pay-setting decisions that employers make every day.

Under current law, employers have wide latitude to establish compensation systems that make sense for their business as long as they donÂ’t violate anti-discrimination laws. The Paycheck Fairness Act would significantly expand the reach of the pay equity laws and make it much more difficult for employers to justify legitimate pay differences. For example, it would no longer be permissible to pay employees differently based on market forces, negotiating ability, or even the amount of revenue they generate for the employerÂ’s bottom line unless the employer could prove it was a "business necessity."

Proponents support the bill based on the "pay gap"---which assumes that any gap in pay must be due to unlawful discrimination. This assumption is being used to justify radical rewrites of pay equity laws and put expansive regulation in place. The only parties that benefit from this are the trial lawyers.

Write to your Senators now and tell them to oppose this bill.

Since September the Coptic Christians in Egypt have been under attack by the Muslims: murder, kidnapping, buring people alive.  No real coverage to speak of unless you go to boutique anti-jihad blogs.

Egypt is a typical example of what happens to a non-Muslim (once-majority) minority given enough time.  Whatever you do, don't apply this lesson to uncontrolled immigration of Muslims to the US.  That would be racism!

Raymond Ibrahim explained what was going to happen a couple weeks ago.  First the Muslims project onto their intended victims what they themselves intend to do.

If Christians in the US decided to systematically oppress and murder Muslims, I'll bet a headline or two would be generated.  Not so for our new official state religion.

39 @13 Sure it is stupid to hire lawyers and sue the school for a one day suspension,

I thought that, too when my son was suspended for "insensitive" remarks while in 6th grade.  We just told him that sometimes life isn't fair and just to suck it up.  Then he was denied admission to the all boy Catholic school that his 4 older brothers had gone to because of that suspension.  (They had a new "touchy feely" liberal principle and board.)  If I had to do it over again, I would sue the grade school, the board, the teacher, the offended student and his douche bag liberal parents, I would go to the press, whatever, I would not let it pass.
