JAKARTA, Indonesia – Authorities removed a statue of Barack Obama from a park in the Indonesian capital due to a public backlash and moved it Monday to a nearby elementary school that the U.S. president attended as a child.

I'm surprized that Barry has had a copy of it put up in the White House

16 Apparently the Italian government had a debt concealment plan run by JP Morgan similarly to the GS-Greece deal. There's prob an order of magnitude more chicanery than we'll be aware of for some time, which could mean that Euro pols try to limit the public exposure similarly to the way FM/FM was concealed to protect the libs. The end result being a massive explosion of financial suck at some point in the near future.

Chinese debt is accumulating. Seems like there could be a flock of black swans at any moment.

O and NBC Olympic commentating is teh suck.

This is why Obamacare is such a great idea. By killing off the old people we not only prevent them from being drains on society, we also prevent them creating future drains on society in the form of fat kids. Brilliant!

39 andycanuck--As soon as they showed the girl with Downs I knew there was going to be a Palin-bash somewhere.  Lefties are so predictable.  And unimaginative.

McFarlane has a lot of talent and he wastes it on gutter dreck.  I would say that's sad, but he's crying all the way to the bank.  Which is interesting, because I could have sworn the lefty trope is that conservatives are heartless money-grubbing sellouts and they're actually sensitive, noble artists.

50 Bayh was doomed.  Once the citizens of Indiana caught on to his talking about fiscal responsibility and "Hoosier values" here at home while voting lock step with the liberal democrats,  he was toast.

The tea party movement brought this to people's attention,  and local talk radio has had irate citizens calling in about this for several months.

He has $14 million in his war chest, so I imagine he will either position himself as a kingmaker or (and this would be good) challenge Obama in the primaries.

I wonder what the democrats in Indiana are going to do?  The few congressmen who sit in safe seats are not going to take on the GOP, and that pretty much leaves them with someone like Joe Andrew.

Pity.

"The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World’s Top Climate Scientists” - due out soon by Roy W. Spencer

I have been of the opinion for some time that the only way the truth about Globaloney would ever get out through the American MSM is if a suitable spin could be devised that absolved them and all the other guilty parties.  This may be it.  Spencer probably that unless he packaged it this way, he could have difficulty getting it published.

Poor dears.  Yeah, they "blundered" because they were "fooled" all right - just like Bernie Madoff was.
