WTF, over?  This shit is a daily occurrence.  The MSM reports it now?  So we give them credit for 1 out of 10 million correctly reported?  They are so insubstantial that I doubt that they cast a shadow.

I'm taking donations.

Gee, that's a friggin' surprise. Even though I agreed with the tenor of the LA Times' blog piece about the U.S. sending the B Team to Whistler for the Games, my comment was censored. Assholes.

I guess only American dissent is the highest form of patriotism. Anti-Hoser racists.

8 If Patterson is out, is Rick Lazio's chance enhanced or diminished?  Or was Patterson never going to be running, anyway?

It's a non issue. Cuomo would have crushed Paterson in the primary anyway. This is about saving Cuomo some cash and not having him on the news every night beating up on a blind, black man.

Get some Zicam.

Get the lozenges that dissolve in your mouth.  They will help you feel better and they help you get over the cold faster.

18 Truman I feel your pain.
I'm 5+k in the hole to Obama, and that was with paying 4K in quarterly payments. Luckily I had some stock options that will fill the hole with some left over.

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- More than half of U.S. voters who describe themselves as independents disapprove of President Barack ObamaÂ’s job performance for the first time since he took office in January 2009, according to a poll released today.

The Marist Poll found that 57 percent of independent voters donÂ’t approve of ObamaÂ’s job performance, up from 44 percent in a Dec. 8 survey. Twenty-nine percent of independents approve, down from 41 percent, and 14 percent said they were unsure.

Forty-four percent of all voters approve of ObamaÂ’s job performance, down from 46 percent in the Dec. 8 poll, while 47 percent disapprove, up from 44 percent. Eighty-one percent of Democrats said they approve, while 80 percent of Republicans said they disapprove.

The survey also found that 47 percent of voters said Obama has fallen below their expectations as president, up from 42 percent last month, while 42 percent said heÂ’s met their expectations, down from 44 percent. Just 7 percent said Obama has exceeded their expectations, down from 9 percent.

Here in Illinois those are known as 'girlfriends'.  To get rid of them a knife to the throat usually works.  Your results may vary.

33 Ras has 46/54 overall and 26/41 for the strong.

Abyss index is +5.

Obama isn't your typical political figure, though.  People will be more likely to approve of him, even if they don't approve of anything he's doing.

From the DSCC today:

Did you read about last weekend's "tea party" convention in Nashville? Attendees paid $549 apiece for a weekend of activism and education capped by the main attraction: a speech by everybody's favorite half-term former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin. For her efforts, Palin received more than $100,000 in speaking fees - and the adoration of legions of fans.

In honor of the tea party convention, we came up with a way for you to tell us what you think she's saying. Just click on the link below, fill in the speech bubble, then submit it to us. We'll post the best creations at dscc.org.

Be creative! Sarah Palin wants to be the voice of the tea party movement. Let's help.

45 Rush saying that 80% of Americans disagree with liberal democrat congress.  Well, people were all over the tube telling you how important the 'balance of power' is and you chose to ignore them and vote for lollipops and unicorns and happiness and sunshine.  So now you got a winter storm in the dark with no lights, how's that working for you 52%

Posted by: curious at February 08, 2010 09:50 AM (p302b)

46 I'm seeing in hearing Rush that Bo is going to bring the republicans in, listen to all their brilliant ideas, flatter them, tell the the bill will be changed for them and then ask them to vote for it, without seeing him, using the "trust me" scenario and when they finally see the bill, they've been had, it's too late and Americans are screwed.

Oh, why can't we just buy insurance for anyone who doesn't have it and call it a day.

Posted by: curious at February 08, 2010 09:52 AM (p302b)

47 I just saw that banned idiot on PS on HotAir.  Unbelievable waste of something.

Also, HillBuzz was good for a while, but now it's become PalinBuzz, which would be great, if they hadn't gone all emotional gayish in their support.

Boys and girls, if Palin runs, 2012 will be a total, total blood sport, like nothing we have ever seen.  Emotional cheerleading will only go so far in the colleseum

From the NY Post:

For months, aides to Paterson privately complained about what they called the governor's lack of focus on critical issues, his poor work habits and late-night, booze-fueled "disappearances" at trendy nightclubs and undisclosed locations -- when even his State Police bodyguards don't know where he is.

Obama really wants this dude out of there.  None of this information would have come to light, otherwise.  Gov. Patterson is an icon of left wing ideology--He's Black, he's a Dem, and he's blind!!!!!
