A couple of weeks ago I talked to a local gun dealer who told me the ammo shortage was now easing. At least here in SC.

Here's a top BS story for today.
Iran agrees atom fuel deal with Turkey, Brazil
Iran agreed with mediators Brazil and Turkey on Monday it would send some of its uranium abroad, abruptly ending its refusal to countenance such a deal just as the U.N. Security Council readied tougher sanctions.
Wonder if they need just a few more months to machine-assemble the nuclear bomb casings, or if they're sending their uranium abroad so that it's not destroyed by an Israeli strike.
/In the end, there will be only chaos.

Apologizing to an oppressive totalitarian communist regime about a state in your union enforcing immigration policy that the federal government refuses to is just common sense and the reason why the Democrats will pick up at least 500 k seats in Congress this fall.

The prosecution indicted 11 former and current professional players of StarCraft, one of the most popular military strategy computer games developed by Blizzard Entertainment, for deliberately losing matches for financial gains. It is the first time ever that fixing of what is called electronic sports (e-sports) in Korea has been detected.
What other Blizzard game tournaments have been "fixed" in S. Korea? Warcraft? Diablo?

And, you can almost bet on Arlin saying something "classy" and "graceful" about Sestak in a victory speech that will just infuriate the Sestak voters to the point of them saying screw you, Arlin, we will just sit home in November. Really, what I would like to see is this come down to some 3 month recount nightmare from hell. Ahhh, union thugs vs. union thugs.

After killing an innocent little girl awoken from sleep by a bomb the police set off, coming into the room where the bomb exploded to find her mother who was fighting off a police officer attacking her (righteously or not), when the police afterwards claim that they found precisely what they were looking for, but won't stipulate the name of the suspect arrested, and won't stipulate the make and model of the moped or where it was removed from the search warrant property, you just have to wonder wtf. The parents, of course, claim that the search warrant for their home was the wrong address. It does happen, and when that happens, the police don't admit it, first preferring a cover up attempt.
Sad. If the parents were guilty, sad that they'd pose their daughter to danger by hiding out a murder suspect. Horrible handling by the police who would have known that a 7 year old girl resided at that address had they done their homework as they claim.

That was the first thing I thought of. What in the hell does the federal government have to do with sex offenders? That is and should be a local crime and law.
If the States want to make sex offenders serve for life let them pass the law. I could agree with that as long as they are charging people who piss on their car tires as sex offenders.

Yeah, I flat-out couldn't stand the guy. Not because "he was being bad." Because he was a dumb hick who lucked his way through the game, all the while saying, "Now we playin' Russel's game." Granted, he pulled off a good one last week, but that was his only good moment.

Looking at her do the neoconservative strip tease turns the stomachs of any who protest corruption in our government.
A lot of Republicans supported GWB, getting him elected the first time, because the voters were yet too naive to know that neoconservatism is the RINO form of socialism, extremely self promotional. When GWB called the Minute Men volunteers VIGILANTES for viewing the border and directing all information noted immediately to the Border Patrol, his potus smiley/teary two-faced drama mask cracked wide open.
By actually coming out as she is now, she is aligned as the "compassionate" Marxist.
What will be interesting to note and illustrate how conversions transpire will be any conversations Laura Bush might have with Sarah Palin. aligning supposed Tea Party supporters with the neoconservative-socialists. Just as interesting to note and illustrate how elitists (even those from Midland TX) maintain superiority will be if Laura Bush never has a conversation with Sarah Palin until the script is contracted for FOX. Want to bet immigration amnesty for illegals will or won't be discussed? Want to bet Laura Bush will never discuss her opinion of Michele Bachmann, a real female conservative?

GWB ran in the Republican Primary in 1999-2000 as a "compassionate" conservative. He ran on the idea he would work with the Dems, he wanted to "change the tone", he wanted a prescription drug benefit, he SAID he was an open borders guy, and he wanted an Education overhaul.
He won the primary...ran on the same stuff against Gore.
We knew EXACTLY who we were getting in 2000.
But 9/11 changed everything, making much of his domestic policies sail thru because the Rs in Congress did not want to fight with him with men in two war theaters, and Dem traitors damaging Bush/Cheney at home.
Lucky for us the immigration debate came late in his Presidency, so there was much pushback and they dropped it.
Let's not pretend we did not know who GWB was.
He was a good man who loves his country, and like 99% of Republicans in office he made domestic decisions for good press.
Which they never get, so why bother.
The question is, have they learned anything?

The story kind of indicated Bush thought conservatism meant social conservatism. Apparently, he didn't get it until he was out.
And yet, immigration is an issue where the fiscal cons (the ones who think long-term anyway) and the social cons line up together nicely. And yet, the Bushyrovies *still* didn't get it. Make no mistake about it--look at when Bush's poll numbers truly plummeted--immigration was what did the Bushyrovies in.

That was simply re: Laura Bush, a disappointment, though no surprise given her husband's ruin of the Treasury, executive ordered into the possession of Goldman Sachs granted complete immunity from law, beholden to no one.
Regarding Malkin, as with her exposition on the culture of corruption, Malkin seems to use the illegal immigration issue for her own agenda to gain clout. True enough, she's against amnesty. But only "against it" as an activist when being against it suited her growth of popularity. Malkin wears that issue as if consistency were a coat left hanging in the closet until someone else makes it snow and there's no way to stay comfortable without wearing it.
EX: Where's her support for the Minute Men these days?
Consistency? Or fear of being aligned as a "radical" conservative to be dropped by the MSM FOX? --as if that's worse than what she fails to cover regarding the victimization of Christian Militia rural members, federally abused and too easily lost within the DHS blackhole.

/eh, no one's disgust is perfect. Watching and noting progressives progress left while feigning to hold the line of truth via revisionism is what it is.

Yeah, Rove has no conservative street cred. Sometimes, maybe, but he's a big government type. That's not real conservative, but I'm not sure what you call it. I have always said that social conservatism and liberalism are two sides of the same coin, in that both would use government for their ends.
Anyway, we had to fight the Democrats, Rove, Laura, and probably others over real conservative issues. They wanted to "be nice." "We're gonna give 'em a little stimulus." And look what it did for his popularity. Neither Bush 1 or 2 ever learned that, as a Republican, you cannot buy approval from Donks.

"Starting today police will fine motorists in the Yarra Ranges up to $358 for leaving their car doors unlocked or windows down. Sergeant John Morgan of the Yarra Ranges unit said police had decided to enforce fines after a spike in theft of and from unsecured motor vehicles.
Sergeant Morgan said motor vehicle theft affected the whole community. ‘It increases our crime stats, wastes police man hours in investigating the crimes and ultimately will raise insurance premiums,’ he said."
Gee, we sure don't want to "waste" police man-hours on any useless crap like...investigating crimes! Hell, next thing ya know, if some citizen sent us a pic of some poor lad stealing a car, the public would be wanting us to *waste even more time* by *arresting* the poor bloke! I mean, do they just think we have nothing else to do all day?
Is it even possible to top this? Hey, with nanny-state Leftist "progs", anything is possible. And true to form, they don't disappoint:
"Theft of valuables from cars in the Yarra Ranges have increased 10.1 per cent in 2009-10.
Under the new Road Safety Road Rules 2009 legislation, motorists can be fined for leaving car doors unlocked, windows down, *parking brakes unengaged* or keys in the ignition.
The legislation applies when motorists are more than three metres away from the vehicle.
If people under 16 are left in the vehicle, the motorist must remove the keys from the ignition.
If no one is left in the vehicle, windows can be left open up to two centimetres before it is considered unsecured.
[Well that is SO fuckin' charitable of you political types, lettin' us poor proles leave a window of our parked cars cracked a whole *3/4ths of an inch* without fining us $358!
Of course the gummint quarters where you fat, goofy, overpaid, tax-guzzling bastards "work" prolly have nice garages so you don't need to worry about your car's interior reaching, oh, 140F or so.
Wait, I got it: This is all part of a *brilliant* plan to get the non-enlightened to back new anti-AGW laws. See, if they can't leave their windows down without getting fined, their cars'll get *really* hot, so they'll eagerly back any nutty scheme that offers to keep the planet half a degree cooler.
Yeh, dat's gotta be it. Clever bastards, them statists.

I didn't yet. Lived and learned. Once your eyes are opened, there's no going back to ignorance as bliss.
"Neoconservative" was not so well defined except in elitist manifesto propaganda by Kristol, and smeared as the epitome of evil propaganda by Marxist disciples of Bill Ayers along the same order as NAZI v. COMMUNIST antangonism pre-during-post WWII--vying socialists determined to be king of the Socialist Pyramid mountain by obliterating all competition.
Granted, the line "uniter" is obviously code for what Obama has made obvious. Globalists are authoritarian Marxists readying to own all things including mankind. United as assimilated, AS IF Constitutional resistance is futile. ONLY if voters permit themselves to quit holding to the Constitution's construction.
As per "knowing" after 9/11/01, I KNOW that if America is in a war, that we must fight to win the conflict. And I support our troops, even if our brass and our potus and Congress don't EXCEPT for granting veterans bigger benefits for more votes next election. Requiring our troops to submit to PC Karzai 12 Rules of Engagement is WRONG. Asking and training troops to consider the safety of civilians in a war zone is one thing. But making it a law is absurd, meant literally to antagonize the troops with prosecutions, to beat the sense of self-survival out of our troops. I wasn't FOR invading Afghanistan/Iraq because of the obvious history between "Islam" as the Muslim governed Middle East vs. "Western Civilization"--ne'er the twain shall meet'--and personal experience with university student Muslims to know what likely to expect politically as a group given their activism. This was compounded with "knowing" that the leftists running America today and their loudly ugly supporters would strike the fear of death in the hearts of self-satisfied Americans not used to defying government corruption--being PRE-TEA PARTY.
What I also know to be true is that in general, Muslims will not turn over a Jihadist unless they are being personally granted something "too big to fail" in return, something that inevitably bites the granter in the ass. Americans, in particular, CAN'T win over the hearts and minds of the Jihadist enemy. That propaganda line is the epitome of our "compassionate" interventionist war PC bullshit. However, once in a war, it's fight to "win" as in VANQUISH the enemy into unconditional surrender. But given the choice between neoconservative-socialism for low taxes and perpetual warfare economic ruin or straight-jacket authoritarianism for high taxes and the subjugation of entire populations in order for the globalists to own/$pend infinity, the traditionally understood "WIN" is impossible when the "winning" prize is a nonexistent entity, such as "hearts and minds of the [Jihadist] enemy". Given those circumstances, the war is already lost, a war of attrition against its own citizens who either support or repudiate the war effort, particularly when potus-O two-faced coin is engraved 1) Jihad is completely a righteous thing not to be feared by non-Muslim Americans, 2) there is no such thing as Jihad.
See how that works. There is no such thing as Jihad being a completely righteous thing not to be feared by non-Muslim Americans, all of which we are "fighting" under rules established by the enemy and our PC "compassionate" authoritarian presidents.
Obama will promise whatever he's told to promise and do whatever he's told by his globalist puppet-masters. Weltkaiser, anyone?

In the June 11, 2000, New York Times article "Bush Draws Campaign Theme From More Than 'the Heart'," Alison Mitchell writes:
"Ask Gov. George W. Bush of Texas about the intellectual origins of his campaign's mantra and he says, 'compassionate conservatism is first and foremost springing from the heart.'
"Yet well before Mr. Bush began building his presidential campaign around the words 'compassionate conservative'--reshaping the image of his party to follow suit--a cadre of thinkers on the right had been trying for years to fashion a form of conservatism that rejected the welfare state but did not turn its back on the poor. And with his campaign strategist, Karl Rove, acting as his guide, Mr. Bush began reading their books and meeting them, even before his first race for governor.

Anybody pick up on the "unintended consequences" story of the week?
Cities like San Diego are boycotting CA for any business-event needs. And now, Arizoneans are boycotting San Diego for their tourism-vacation needs.
BOOHOO! San Diego Board of Tourism cries bitter tears over how unfair it is for the citizens of the city who rely on tourism-dollars for their income are gonna get unfairly punished because of City Council grandstanding.
In other words, just because City Councils of Diego & Francisco decided to poke their fingers in Arizona's eyes, it is completely unexpected! that private citizens of Arizona are responding in turn.
You can find it yourself on FoxNews.

The beat cop assigned to our neighborhood will, as workload permits, occassionally go around his beat checking cars parked on the street or in driveways to see if they are an easy target. Doors left unlocked, a laptop or other valuable item left in plain view, etc...
He'll leave the owner a little note warning them that they're leaving themselves vulnerable.
THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT, AUSTRALIA.

Will the new Miss USA face death threats from fellow Muslims for being "too westernized?" I mean, you've gotta be pretty into American culture to get very far on the pageant circuit.
Ain't gonna get many points in the swimwear competition if you're burk'ed from ankles to forehead.
Sounds to me like she's gonna have some 'splaining to do to several prominent leaders of the Religion of Peace.

But that was then and this is now, no way would we tolerate a uniter now!
QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE)
BUSH: No, I feel great. As a matter of fact, I'm quite the opposite. I feel like -- I feel like things are -- things are coming my way. I feel like the campaign is progressing very well. In order to have discipline and focus, and I'm disciplined and focused on one things, and that's winning the Republican nomination. Then I'll be disciplined and focused on winning the general election, and.
Yes, Cadulski (ph).
QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE)
BUSH: No, I don't view -- I'm a uniter, not a divider. I don't believe there's a deep divide. As a matter of fact, when you look at the results amongst Republicans who are voting in the primaries, I'm winning overwhelmingly, and -- which means it's going to be easy to unite our party and lead us to victory. It's been my record. It's what I've done as governor. I know how to unite people. I don't like the politics of pitting one group of people against another, the politics of pointing fingers. I like that politics advocated by somebody like Ronald Reagan, who was a uniter. He didn't stand up and pit groups of people against each other. He didn't have a spiteful agenda, he had an optimistic agenda, as do I.

The foreign policy community were arguing about what to do about Saddam and Sons and their WMD, their enormous funding for WMD and terrorists worldwide, their previous behavior with WMD, and their WMD capabilities.
The real politic of the "containment" side of the debate had been in effect for over a decade to no avail, so after 9/11 Pres Bush decided to try a different way.
And no, he did not turn the middle east to glass as he probably should have....he had what he thought were moderates asking him to help them fight the extremes in their religion.
It remains to be seen if those who claim to be moderates, can live and lead their people to modernity and become civilized countries. In time, their younger generations may demand it. Tho I am doubtful.
Which is why we should elect a ruthless SOB Republican/Conservative to the Presidency next time, we may need him to finish Bush's job.

148, 155 She's apparently muslim -- apparently some of her family are big backers of the Hez. Don't know many Lebanese Christians who are. She also won a "stripper 101" (??? what the hell is that???) pole dancing contest. Seems it's ok for well connected muslimas to show some skin and be bimbos -- especially if it means infidel dogs drool after her while the rest of the family is busy finding ways to kill said infidel dogs. She's also supported the idea of the burqa swimsuit...so what's good for me is not for thee I guess.
Gateway is all over this story.
