40-60 heads on a plane...good God, it's either a head or it's not a head.
I'm opting for cremation.

Yes, but I check out all Elvis sightings to be sure. Last week there was an Elvis sighting in Tuscon, AZ, but it turned out to be just a fat guy in a sequined shirt. I took him anyway.

"New Orleans is using BP's money to launch a series of television and newspaper advertisements across the US on Friday, including one that declares: "This isn't the first time New Orleans has survived the British."

Let's shakedown BP for a $20Billion Slush Fund.
Why not, after all,
We've got the full weight of the Federal Government, AND public opinion on our side.
No one will see through that.

I'll have my head cryogenically preserved, and my ashes freeze-dried. When I'm ready for reanimation, they'll add the necessary ingredients to my ashes and I'll have the head of a man and the body of a griffin.

"A manhattan dad nearly choked on his Wheaties when his 14-year-old son ti midly asked:
"Dad, do I have to wear a dress to school?"
No joke. These conversations went on in kitchens and living rooms around the city, as a top school that educates learning-disabled and autistic children staged a student production of "La Cage aux Folles" -- a cross-dressing, limp-wristed, gay comic romp whose main characters are a pair of "married" men."

Most New Jersey voters still approve of the job that Governor Chris Christie is doing, and he earns solid support for his handling of the stateÂ’s contentious budget situation.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Jersey Voters shows that 51% approve of how the new Republican governor is doing his job, while 45% disapprove. This includes 33% who Strongly Approve and 31% who Strongly Disapprove.
These findings mark little, if any, change from mid-April.
Forty-six percent (46%) of Garden State voters give Christie good or excellent marks for his handling of the budget crisis. Thirty-six percent (36%) rate his performance in this area as poor.
Christie has been battling the Democratic-controlled legislature and the stateÂ’s powerful public employee unions over his proposed $29.3 billion budget, which includes substantial spending cuts in several areas.
Eighty-two percent (82%) of Republicans and 60% of voters not affiliated with either major party approve of how Christie is doing as governor.....
While 73% of voters in his own party and 53% of unaffiliateds rate his handling of the state budget as good or excellent....

Speaking of Christie, incidentally, he is one politician who can get away with referring to other as "small people."

Is it just me, or does it seem that the term "catbon nano-tube" is underutilized in the Al Gore/Laurie Dav'd Love Story reports?

Didn't the AP run a story only a week or two ago about how the last jobless numbers sharply decreased, heralding the recovery promised in the Porkulus ?

I hope Ace sleeps in a bit today.
He got at it early yesterday and by mid-afternoon he was starting to fuss.
