The juxtaposition of Obama's actions (golf, parties, fundraising) with dead fish and pelicans is pretty damning.

I predicted the Clinton marriage would last no more than 6 months after he got out of the WH and was ready to concede "wrongness".
After thinking it over I realized that I was still right. They actually quit being "married" BEFORE he got into the WH. They haven't lived together for decades. Any marriage they have is a sham for political purposes.

You're looking for train loads of young broke men?
What are you going to tell them you have a hundred bucks in your pocket and they just have to get it?

And yet Hillary is still considered a "strong" woman. She's not that strong if she still has to keep up even the slightest pretense of marriage to Bill for small political gain.

They only stay married for the mutual protection of spousal privilege. If either was able to testify against the other in court they would BOTH go to prison for a long time, and they know it.
Hell of a basis for a "marriage".

Another Mark Halperin gem in Slime Magazine via Yahoo :
The late, longtime New Yorker critic Pauline Kael was said to have expressed confusion over Richard Nixon's landslide re-election in 1972 - because no one she knew had voted for him. To borrow that notion, conservatives today imagine that everyone views the current occupant of the White House as they do: Barack Obama is the worst President ever. Conventional wisdom posits that this potent right-wing, anti-Obama sentiment will diminish the President's power - enough for Republicans to vanquish Democrats in November, regain control of Congress and weaken the incumbent for 2012.
The experiences of Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton are instructive. Like Obama, they accomplished a fairly high percentage of their campaign promises, even as their enemies deemed them failures from those Presidents' first days in office. Both Presidents benefited by staying focused and on course, sidestepping the increasingly hostile rhetoric thrown at them by their foes.
It can't be pleasant for Obama to be the subject of such attacks. And solving the country's major problems in a bipartisan fashion will be difficult under these rancorous circumstances. But as long as those trying to beat him are blind to the fact that tens of millions of voting Americans think Obama is doing a fine job, this President has a great ally in his enemies.
Wow. Poor widdle Barry is doing everything he can to solve all of our problems and the mean evil conservative just want to ruin everything for him.

ahh I see and by "murder" you mean Alabaster Arugula Action huh? I see what you're into.
But seriously folks, I am suprised there hasn't been a major spike in crime with 1 in 10 of of americans out of work, and 1.7 in 10 under employed.
I think the only reason the crime hasn't started in earnest is because of the unemployment benefits from the government keep getting extended. As long as these people are getting money from the government, they don't feel the need to go out and steal any. At least not yet.

Try this on for size:
“Potential Policy Recommendations to Support the Reinvention of Journalism.”
It’s not enough that we can arguably state that the guy sitting in that oval office at 1600 Pennsylvania today was basically put in there by the Mainstream Media. It’s not enough that said MSM can arguably be called “water carriers” for the current administration. And it’s not enough that we can arguably state that that same MSM is in deep, deep denial over their selling us the Presidential snake oil.
Nope.
Just imagine how fair and balanced the news will be once the MSM and their “journalists” are “reinvented.” And of course, it wouldn’t be in keeping with this administration’s modus operandi if we didn’t add a little insult to injury along with a good dose of salt to the wound: Just imagine how this “reinvented journalism” will undoubtedly be subsidized.

By Peter Ferrara: The Coming Resignation of Barack Obama http://is.gd/czCQu
Months ago, I predicted in this column that President Obama would so discredit himself in office that he wouldn't even be on the ballot in 2012, let alone have a prayer of being reelected. Like President Johnson in 1968, who had won a much bigger victory four years previously than Obama did in 2008, President Obama will be so politically defunct by 2012 that he won't even try to run for reelection.
I am now ready to predict that President Obama will not even make it that far. I predict that he will resign in discredited disgrace before the fall of 2012. Like my previous prediction, that is based not just on where we are now, but where we are going under his misleadership.

actually, upon reading it, i thought it was a good article.
I don't think they were blaming hitler for the state of europe, but pointing out that when they look at their past they see hitler and therefore are hesitant to so hesitent to repeat any mistakes, that it leads to a paralysis in their leadership.

How Obama Haters May Help Democrats in Midterm Elections
A short excerpt:
The experiences of Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton are instructive. Like Obama, they accomplished a fairly high percentage of their campaign promises, even as their enemies deemed them failures from those Presidents' first days in office. Both Presidents benefited by staying focused and on course, sidestepping the increasingly hostile rhetoric thrown at them by their foes. Clinton at times would explode, letting such verbiage get his goat, but Reagan did not, and in that sense, he is Obama's closer analogue. Obama has become prickly at times during these past 16 months, but he is more apt to brush off the barbs as proof positive that the opposition is losing - and losing it.

One difference between the 1930s and today is that today we have a very large criminal class who has never "worked" in a traditional sense in the first place. Drug running and car jacking pay better than McDonalds; your mother/sister/baby mamma will give you a place to stay.
(I'd love to see some stats about crimes committed by people already receiving money from the government in some form--subsidized housing, Social Security for dependents/disability, food stamps.)

He was probably talking about Roger Waters solo tour. Apparently, he's doing "The Wall" this summer. I caught the show back in '80 or '81 (the entire decade was a blur) and it was probably the greatest concert experience I ever had.
Needless to say, I won't be seeing this one. Why ruin my disjointed memories?

exactly....i mean, hahaha do we REALLY need to see these bands reunite and tour?
yes= hey i like em, dont get me wrong...but they played down here in myrtle 2 yrs ago and a buddy of mine said they sounded like bear-trapped ferrets.
these old bands need to just hang it up already lol. although to be honest, foreigner played here not long ago and i heard the show on the radio. OMG they sounded incredible. they took their old songs and revamped them to today's rocks standards. i know it sounds funny and strange but it worked, and it worked great.
not to mention they made fun of themselves the whole time, unlike say floyd, who has taken themselves far too seriously over the years.
and i was like "wow...this is foreigner? FOREIGNER?

Does anyone have a link about that? Because I recall reading many years ago in a pro-firearms and/or anti-crime news report or opinion column (undoubtedly from a conservative source) that U.S. crime rates (admittedly, crime and not specifically murder) were low during the Great Depression. The point of the article being that poverty doesn't cause crime or the Great Depression would have been the worst time in U.S. history and not the late '60s and '70s.
