— Gabriel Malor Incidentally, guys, I can't post every day like I did Monday. Day job. What I can do is tweet and I usually get a news blitz out between 8ish and 10am Pacific. Right over here, though that's all going to be pushed back today because of the World Cup matches. FYI.

If Gabe posted everyday the volume of posts he put up on Monday, I would be compelled to ask him if he had acquired a new fondness for recreational pharmaceuticals .

What World Cup matches? Is there something going on that the US hasn't been informed of?

Gabe, while I have a strong dislike for soccer, I did see a special on ESPN 30 on 30 last night that was engrossing.
I think it was called "The Two Escobars". It was around two hours long and about the Columbian soccer program in the 80s and 90s. It was apparently completely paid for with drug money and that is why it was such a good program. They could afford the best of everything and foreign players. The show made the assertion that soccer in columbia died along with Pablo and Andre Escobar(not related). When Pablo was killed, it was the beginning of the end of drug money funding soccer. Andre Escobar was the player that was killed when he scored an own goal against America in the 1994 World Cup which cost them the game and got them eliminated from the tourney.
Also, the Columbian goalie's brother was killed after he gave up a bad goal which lost them their first game of the tourney against Romania.
It was an extremely interesting program. I would suggest you check it out if they re-air it.

There's something interesting about this cross-eyed chick with big breasts on Bloomberg. Just sayin' ... Maybe it's the combination?

Top news of the day is that real conservatives pushed by Sarah Palin won big in the run-offs in SC.
The trend continues so when the Eeyores in the MFM start squawking don't pay any attention.
As i said before, a brown woman won? I thought the media told us that the Tea Parties were racists. It is almost as though the Tea Parties are doing the exact opposite of what the media says if you consider more women and minorities are running-and winning- as republicans than ever in our history.

Heh. I didn't think of that. I guess pity is called for.
Bloomberg seems to pick up these odd charachters for its morning show. They've got the cross-eyed chick and then Betty Liu, who can't hold her head steady (while speaking) without a 450 ton BOP on top of it. I bet she moves her lips while reading to herself, too.
I hate Bloomberg, the guy and his crappy company, but I like the way they're trying to mainstream these 'unusual' folks in their TV programs. Looking out for the less fortunate, I guess ...

My formerly ham-sammich-Democrat BFF voted for Tim Scott in the primary and the runoff, so I feel like I'm making some progress. Heh.

You can also tell that Bill O'Reilly puts his money where his mouth is by some of the people he has on his show. Lookin out for the folks and all...

I'm still pissed about that AP "woman and black attempt to make history" headline yesterday. They never would have written "woman and black attempt to make history" about Hillary and Barry in the 2008 primary season. *spit*
I guess there are still a lot of people who insist on seeing race instead of people, and yeah, it's not the limited-government crowd.

Pork board squeals over imaginary unicorn meat
(AP)
It's official: The National Pork Board says it knows unicorns don't exist.
The industry group says it was only protecting its trademark when it issued cease-and-desist warning to online retailer ThinkGeek for calling a fake unicorn meat product "the new white meat."
ThinkGeek put the fictional item on its Web site as an April Fool's prank. But the 12-page letter from lawyers was no joke.
ThinkGeek issued an apology this week but says the board was being "pig-headed."

I think you're right. I think McChrystal might prefer to stay, too. I didn't like the way McChrystal approached this war, before this. And he didn't seem to mind being under the command of an ineligible, inept retard up until now ... He even voted for him.

I could be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if he floated that as misinformation for tactical purposes. If so, well played.

Yeah, note that the MFM is not mentioning much at all about another one of their "moderates" who lost. Inglis and his low 80's ACU rating got the boot yesterday as well.
Too bad Graham wasn't on the ticket last night because he would have went down in flames as well.

Yeah ... I'm not of that mind. Besides, I still don't see his advantage in it, either way. There is no argument that can be made for him having voted for the inept, America-hating retard. It doesn't enhance his point, in any way that I see. Some have said they thought it provided him more credibility (to the left, I guess) ... but I don't see it. It just shows poor - really poor - judgment.

WASHINGTON - At a precarious moment in the war in Afghanistan, President Barack Obama prepared to hear his top war commander explain biting published complaints about the commander in chief and his aides. Even before their showdown, the White House's rebuke of Gen. Stanley McChrystal suggested it would be hard for him to save his job.
Ahead of his meeting with the president, McChrystal arrived at the Pentagon for meetings, including once scheduled with Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
On his arrival, he denied to NBC News that he's offered his resignation. "Come on, you know better than that. No!"Posted by: Tami at June 23, 2010 05:52 AM (VuLos)

June 23 (Bloomberg) -- Iran said it has 17 kilograms of 20 percent-enriched uranium, more than triple the amount United Nations nuclear inspectors found there in April and about 10 percent of what scientists say is needed to begin making a bomb.
“We can potentially produce 5 kilograms (11 pounds) a month, but we are not in a rush,” Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi, who heads Iran’s atomic agency, was cited as saying today by the state-run Iranian Students News Agency. “Iran can enrich to any percentage it wants as its legitimate right.”
Someone want to call the golf course and let Barry know about this?
